Aw, how cute! :cutie:

Thank you. :goodvibes

I've done nothing this morning. :yay: I'm about to shower and touch up the dusting, etc so the house is freshened up. We lowered the price yesterday, so I'm hoping for more traffic. After the dance show, we went to dinner with some friends. The hubby used to be a realtor, and suggested we give a buying agent bonus to get more people through too. Kirt was supposed to talk to our realtor about it this morning, but since he's mowing the alwn, I don't know what they decided.

Good Luck Dawn!

Does anyone know about blocking people on Facebook? My ex keeps showing up on 'The People You May Know' tool. I went to go block him but couldn't find him when searching his name. I'm able to click on his picture and it takes me to his friend list and lets me see all his friends along with who we have in common but I want him blocked completely. Is there a way I can block him from his friends page? I have my page set to Friends Only for everything so its not like he can see anything but I just don't want to see his face when I go on there. LOL

Just read on FB that Mel is home!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Welcome home, Mel! Hope you're feeling better soon!

I understand that . When you see him on the "people you may know tool, to the right of his name should be an "x", if you click it, it takes him off the list. If you don't see it move your mouse over to the right of his name and it should show up. Let me know if it worked :thumbsup2.

Yay for Ellie! :yay: Does she play as often as Jess?
She hits a few balls every week when Jess has her lesson but other wise no, she did really well too :thumbsup2 Great photos with the Easter Bunny Lori so cute :)

The hubby used to be a realtor, and suggested we give a buying agent bonus to get more people through too.
You're allowed to do that??? Wow I think that's illegal here!

That's where the phrase "Dental Floss killer" came from. I think it was Rachel who tried to translate "thread killer" and one of our native speakers corrected the translation! It was hilarious! :rotfl2::rotfl2:
OMG I didn't realise that :rotfl2:

As Jodi says Mel has posted on FB that she's home and Mo has posted she's home too :thumbsup2

Jess was meant to be going to a party tonight, she even got all dressed before she felt ill and didn't go, she's now in her jammies wrapped in her duvet watching the TV!

Hi Jo, so sorry Jess isn't feeling well. I hope she feels better soon.

Thanks Tracy, I think she's feeling better she hasn't ummm been to the loo for a while :rotfl:

DH is at training at the firehouse all day today and tomorrow. Plus, he's working an overnight shift tonight on the ambulance. So, is anyone up for drunken Spanish tonight? I'll be around....:sad2:

I know how you feel. MY Dfiance i gone for about 3 days in a row and then is only home for 4. Thats why i usually have so much time on the DIS!

Hee hee, some of us tend to become "fluent" in other languages after ingesting alcohol. :rotfl: There've been a few nights here on the TFW thread when we filled a few pages with "Drunken Spanish", or in some cases "Drunken French."

How about drunken german?

And by the way, it doesn't have to be Spanish. As V said, it's just whatever language you want to use. Me?? I'll be doing drunken German myself. :woohoo:

Yay! Another drunked german! id love to play! :rotfl:

Im so glad that everyone is doing better now. I get busy for 2 days and everything happens!

Mel- Feel better! I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Mo- i hope your surgery went well also!
:wave2: to everyone else!

Thanks Tracey. I could have sworn I've x'd him out before but he popped up again. It always a surprise when I see it though. LOL Plus, if I see he's written on a friends wall or commented on a photo. :sad2:

Hi all. First chance I've had to check in. LEft for TBall this morning and the kids just ran around and played for a little bit. Between the wind and the mud couldn't really do much! After that we ran to the mall. Hit up the Disney Store (of course;)), had some lunch. Jimmy is very tired. The party last night was nice and Jimmy had a ball at his sleepover.

Kat - It was me who texted you:thumbsup2 Save my number;)

Glad to hear Mel is on the mend. Has anyone checked on Mo or should I give a call to see how she is doing?

Chat with you all later!:goodvibes

Hey Guys and Gals. This is a covert post as Bob yelled at me to NOT sit at the computer, to be RESTING on the couch while he fills my prescriptions...blah blah blah. However, I wanted to catch up, or I might NEVER! And I wanted to say thank you.

By the way, I have 2 dozen friends and family members on FB that aren't Fockers and NOT ONE of them commented on my being in the hospital. Just sayin'..................:confused3

So, here's the story since no one really knew.
I had bad pains under my belly button on Wed. night before bed. My initial thought was Aunt Flo cramps, but it's two weeks away so that would be weird (sorry Mr. T if that's TMI...:goodvibes). I took tylenol and went to bed. I had biked 8 miles or so that day at the gym on the recumbant bike, so who knows? Thursday I went to gym again. It hurt still, but not terrible. I biked 9.5 miles on the regular bike in case that other bike did it. I came home and napped. I felt feverish but figured I had a cold. Went to bed late and was up most of the night in ALOT of pain. I googled abdominal pain, fever and got APPENDICITIS. Read the symptoms and it sounded plausible so I packed boys lunches, got SD on the bus and woke Bob. I told him that it might be the appendix and that I was going to the ambulatory center (like a small town er, hence why they didn't have an MRI OR CAT there). They messed around with tests and stuff, then sent me for the CAT. I drove over there, but didn't want to call Bob to come home yet because I wasn't sure yet what was up.

After the tests were done, I went back to the little ER and they said, "Yup. Enlarged Appendix. Go to the City hospital ER and get admitted. You're having surgery." Then I texted Bob to meet me at home so I could drop off my car, shower quick and pack my pjs etc. I got to the ER at 1:30. They made us wait till 3 pm to see someone. I had blood work, pee test, and an exam. They confirmed the Appendicitis. I sent Bob home (Which he FOUGHT me tooth and nail on!!!!!) because I was worried about the boys getting home alone (I had to call gf's during the day while in the ER and have them bring the kids home, so they had NO idea where we were and what was going on..I was more worried about them!!!) They came to bring me up to surgery about 15 minutes later. I was in surgery for 1.5 hours. They gave me morphine before and after. The ansethesia was fine, the nurses and doctors were all WONDERFUL. It was a great experience, except for having my appendix removed. :rotfl2:

I had room service, a full menu available for order 24 hrs (Yum), tv with a remote, internet (but I couldn't read it on the tv from my bed), an adjustable bed, loads of pillows, warm blankets and a call button for the nurse. They kept me hepped up on pain killers all night and morning. My nurses were so sweet. I loved them all. They checked me out this morning (after an entire night of blood work, blood pressure checks and pain med applications) and said I could go home around noon. Bob and the boys came up and got me and here I am.

I can't tell you how much your wishes and prayers meant to me. It was truly terrifying to find out OUT OF THE BLUE about having surgery. No time to prep, no time to warn the kids or arrange rides. I didn't know what to expect at all. You kind words (which Bob passed along to me the whole time!) meant SO much.
You are amazing friends. I love you all.

SO, on that note. Bob has just gotten home and is giving me an EVIL eye! LOL.
Welcome Debra: I'm Mel. (Sorry if you had to read ALOT about me...LOL) I have two boys, SD who is 16 and Gus who is 11. My husband NotBob or Bob (his nicknames...) is the center of my universe. When you meet him, you'll understand. ROFL. I live in Michigan, but am from Mass. originally. We love WDW and bought into DVC about a year ago. It was the most amazing thing we ever did! I'm the resident fuzzy visioned focker. I have glaucoma in both eyes and usually I'm talking about my eyes and not my appendix! LOL. Welcome! Jump right in. As you've seen we are a very supportive and loving bunch.

Thanks to everyone who texted, FB'd me and Bob, sent love and hugs.

Kat: loved your pics and mini tr. Your hair is gorgeous all curly.

Janet: Yay for Jimmy and no stage fright.

JO: great job on the kiddo's golf game. You caddied? Go Jo!

MO: Sending HUGE hugs and recovery wishes!

V: Funny about the bikini, and I'm dying to see the hair.

Happy Birthday Rachel

I have that same problem. My ex keeps popping up and I do not want to know what he is doing and I do not want him to know what I am doing either. But since we are in the same network and have a lot of the same friends, went to the same school, etc it keeps suggesting I add him as a friend

Tracy, thanks for explaining that. I will try that to see if I dont have to see his face every time I log on.

Mel, pleasure to meet you. Glad to hear your surgery went well and you are doing better.

This is our 'off' weekend meaning 4 of our 5 kids are at their other home. We are going to a friend's birthday party so I wont be around for drunken [insert foreign language here] until midnight or so. But by then i should be good and ready.

We won our Tball game today and I didn't make not one boy cry :cheer2:

Currently i am waiting on baby T to fall asleep so I can finish the yard work.

Mel, I'm glad you're home and doing better. Now it's time to let the boys cater to you so you can rest. ;)

Mo, I'm glad you're home too. :goodvibes

Hi Debra, I'm Angela, SAHM with 2 cats. :goodvibes We moved to Orlando from Memphis 4 years ago for DH's job. My sister and her family lives down the street so we can dote on our nephew who's almost two.

I was at the flower & garden festival this morning and I'll post some pictures as soon as I can. The flowers are, as usual, beautiful! :thumbsup2

I can't leave for 1 day without Focker drama!!!!!

MEL - I'm glad you are OK. Sorry I missed it all. I thought Friday night would be slow!!! Take it easy and don't make Bob mad.

RACHEL - Happy Birthday a little late. I hope you have a great weekend at the game.

ANGIE said Mitch wanted a low-key b-day. He wants to save $$$$.

V is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her #1 guy in a couple of days.

DAWN did a great job of keeping us informed about Mel.

JO says Ellie is back. She posted some great pictures of Hemsby.

T - HI!

MO - I hope you are recovering from your foot surgery nicely!

Boys5150 is leaving for vaca this weekend.

Tig flew by!

JANET said Jimmy did very well with his peaches.

Sounds like you'll fit right in. I swear I don't know how half of these girls/guys find any time to chat.
I'm the official updater and pep person. If you get behind, look for my post. I try to do one every day.
I live in Indiana with my DH, Doug, and 3 dogs, 2 cats and a turtle. I'm sorta new still. I took a trip to WDW last year after a 19 year hiatus. I'm going again this fall with my BFF. Girls only. Unfortunately I will miss the big meet-again.
We all share the day-to-day stuff, vents, WDW info, well pretty much anything is game here. Just jump in whenever.

This is an intelligent, loyal, strong bunch of people. You won't find better friends anywhere else.

I hope you like us and have fun.

Gotta get ready for work. Please stay healthy and happy Fockers!:grouphug:
