I'm 25 and I travel with a first-aid kit-I'm clumsy. In '07 I was waiting for a show in Tomorrowland, and a toddler ahead of me took a tumble. The parents were debating whether to go to first aid, when I swooped in with my band-aids. :)

Same experience here, but it was outside MK on the way through security/bag check. I had ELMO bandaids. I was SUPER MOM!!!

Hey Slate!
Hey Janet!
Hey everyone!

:wave2:

Well, I thought we were all better, but now DH is home sick. He's coughing a lot. I'm just trying to stay away from him so that I don't catch anything! Of course, moms don't get sick days, do we?:sad2:

Ack! Hope he feels better!

Yuck, Janet. I hope your day goes better. :goodvibes

Nope, not getting any better:sad2:

Morning all! Had a dental appt. this morning and just got to work. Traffic is freaking INSANE!!! :headache:

The snow birds haven't left yet;)

I never had a chance to write a note to Leo's teacher. Last night was riding lesson night, and I ran out of time. I did get some much-needed sleep though, thank goodness!

Glad you were able to get some sleep!:goodvibes

Nothing else new. Just digging in to work - lots of writing to do today. TTYL!

:wave2: Have a good day!

Focker help needed!
I'm packing  and I am so overwhelmed with everything I feel like I'm missing something. :confused3 In my little carry to the parks bag, what do I HAVE to have? I don't want to haul things I don't need.
Right now I have a tiny sunblock, chapstick, the three autograph books, a black clicker sharpie, a tiny stain removing pen, gum, Kirt's RPDE card, and my bday gift card print out thingy to get into the parks free that day. I plan on adding my id, cell, my confirmation numbers and our park passes. :confused3 I think that's everything, right?

Band Aids, wipes (for quick hand and face wipes), a pack of mints (I don't really chew gum).

Sorry your frain is bried! Poor Janet!

Thanks Mel:hug:

I am home from the gym. I did 10.7 miles on the bike today! YAY me! :woohoo:

:cheer2: :cheer2:

I sent a e-mail message on FB to March Fockers asking about a change of plans. Please check in, if you can.

I'll be around tomorrow, then I'll be out of town all weekend. I get back home about 8pm Sudnay and we leave Monday at 5am. So, I'll be able to check in, but not chat anymore after tomorrow. That sounds so real, huh?

LOL, Hedy. Saving the day with a bandaid! I guess I jsut don't think about it because I always tell the kids to man up and get over it at home. We barely use them. :rotfl:

Trashman just HAD TO COME EARLY... on a day I need to "Double Dip"( fill the can up twice and get it collected on BOTH side of the street)
Wow never heard of that, very clever :rotfl2:

I have 3 guys who regular initiate chat with me when they see me on fb.
I just have it so my status is offline so no-one chats to me :rotfl2:

I'm trying to figure out what I have to get done this morning. Both girls are going to school!
Wooohoooo sorry about DH though!

sorry, that was a bit confusing. let me try again. .... a patient came into the ER in a car accident. he was drinking alcohol and highly intoxicated. since i took care of him, i have to go to court to testify.
That's better :rotfl2: Good luck!

5 Days!!!!

Beautiful day again here, I'm wearing capris did some gardening then DH took a break from work and we went for a huge 1.5hour walk :thumbsup2

3. When I'm home every day, I tend to sleep alot. Since starting the medication and getting into counselling I am way more aware that these are the activities of a DEPRESSED person. Forcing myself to go out among the people keeps me mentally healthy. I think. :confused3

MEL
Thanks Mel! I needed that,. I just made an appointment. the receptionist looked it up. I hadnt been in 2 years.

Does Steve not care if he is on your friends list?
He hates being on the computer. he has no idea whos in and whos out. :surfweb: hasn`t even seen a facebook page. :rotfl2:

.
We could go to DTD Sunday and Monday evening. I think I would rather just stay home.
:faint: Would the kids come? or stay with someone?

Camera! Yes!!! The camera and camcorder with batteries... Thanks, Kate!!!
Definitly band aids!! trips and falls, blisters.. do you need 3 autograph books? why not just one for the family? makes things move along faster. and the kids can take turns handing them to the characters. :confused3
----------------------------

They also came in handy when I face planted in the rain in Vegas (yes, I was sober). I'll finish my Vegas TR and start an October TR if my life ever gets back to normal. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Recession? What recession? Disney World crowds in evidenceposted by Matt Palm on Mar 18, 2009 11:54:09 AM

Looks like Walt Disney World is weathering Spring Break just fine. Crowds were high this past weekend and into this week. My friend Beth was visiting and on Friday she left Disney-Hollywood Studios because she found it just too crowded to have fun.

Saturday at Magic Kingdom, stand-by line waits at Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad were more than an hour each. The line at Cosmic Ray's for dinner seemed almost as long (especially as one of the bays is closed for renovation.)

And the fireworks viewing was an experience in getting to know your neighbor ... very well.

Sunday at Animal Kingdom, was busy too. More than an hour for the safari and Everest, of course. The single-rider line closed at Everest several times because the wait in that line got too long.

My neighbor was at Epcot yesterday and reported the Test Track wait was more than 2 hours.

It looks like Mickey is making some money this week. Anyone have crowd horror stories to share?

Maybe its all of the AIG excecutives on vacation.

Just a quick drive by since I had to turn the pc on to stream movies through the playstation anyway.....

I feel lousy today. I woke up at 5am with a sore throat and fever and sleep was not so good after that. I'm heading back to the couch.

I need soup or something, why did I swear off canned soup? Maybe a cup of tea too...that I have.

Shut.up. That's not good. :guilty: What happened to all the low crowds the sites told me about?

Maybe its all of the AIG excecutives on vacation.
:lmao:

Carrie- I meant to reply to you too. I bought little notebooks for each of the kids already. They're tiny. Last year we did one and they fought over who got to keep it in their rooms when we got home. :rotfl:

:lmao: SO true!

Hope WDW's making some money. Around here, it's all Snowbirds and they don't contribute much to the economy. They just hog up the rods during ruch hour. :headache:

Not that I'm still bitter about this morning.

I feel lousy today. I woke up at 5am with a sore throat and fever and sleep was not so good after that. I'm heading back to the couch.
Ugh, feel better Kat!

No, I don't shower at home anymore. It's too lonely.....LOL

Well, sort of. I make the waffles, top them with a spoonful of strawberries and a pretty pile of whipped cream (REAL not cool-whip thank you!) and serve the veggie sausages on the side. (They're breakfast sausage.) Does that sound better?

Thanks Mel! I needed that,. I just made an appointment. the receptionist looked it up. I hadnt been in 2 years.
You're welcome, Carrie. You definitely sound like you're in a rut. Feel better soon!

Did you see JenV's pic of the FP line at BTMRR on FB?

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Hi Everyone!!

Well I got back from PR yesterday. It was a nice relaxing vacation, but we really didn't do much and that was boring for me. :guilty: I don't even have any pictures to share because we didn't go anywhere. I did get to go out with some friends last night for a little bit, but they ran out of green beer. It was fun and then it started chucking down.

Anyhoo, I'm supposed to go to work tomorrow to meet a new hire but I'm so mad at them with so many things that I'm not going. I told them I wanted to be involved on the hiring process since that person would be working my shift with me and they ignored me. They started an activities committee and I volunteered to be part of it and they didn't involve me. I volunteered for another activities committee and they haven't involved me on that one either. They've organized a department outing that the whole department won for patient excellence for next weekend and I won't even be able to go because it's such short notice and on a weekend, when I'm working. I know they're petty things, but I'm feeling disengaged from work right now with all their stupidity. I really need a new job, but there are none out there. :guilty:

Also I think I'm gonna tell the BF we need a break. I haven't really spoken to him for a week and I left angry at him and I see no future with him. He's a good guy, but I'm not convinced he's for me. :guilty:

I need my WDW vacation NOW!
