I'm not sure. I know that Buzz and his family will be here during that time. And Tracy & Bill are now going. And Scott is driving down. I also think that Traci from Las Vegas (GeminiAngel) is going to come too. There's a thread on Enchanted for Ip Dip II with details of that meet.

As for the Focker Girls Weekend, I think JenV was thinking about it. Anyone else????

I was planning on it, but with adding Universal to our trip this year I can't do it.

Just got an email back from the principal that my short, one line email will suffice. So, she'll be tested later this week. Hopefully she'll do her best this time.

Afternoon! DH just left for Jacksonville for the rest of the week...Dawn, I know how you feel. Mine goes away a bunch. He's gone less than he used to be (once he was away for 8 months...4 in Jacksonville and 4 in DC) and it's never easy.

Just saw this in the Orlando Sentinel. Spoodles is closing!

The celebrity chef Cat Cora will open a new restaurant at Walt Disney World later this year.

Cora’s restaurant, “Kouzzina by Cat Cora,” will replace “Spoodles” at Disney’s BoardWalk. It will feature Mediterranean-style cuisine and is scheduled to open by the fall.

“This collaboration between Cat and Disney represents a significant step in our ongoing commitment to offer unique culinary experiences and choices for our guests,” Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo said in a written statement.

Fighting sick kids... The only things worse is a sick hubby at home whining while the sick kids fight.

What is it with Kirt's new position that they call a meeting at the end of every dang day that lasts way past 5? Everyone else lives in town, he still has to drive 1.5 hours home.

Whining, ranting warning....

I know the market's bad and people aren't buying houses right now, but I'm telling you now, that after the trip, I'm going to have a hard time not getting upset. My family isn't used to travelling. The kids are whining and crying asking when they'll see daddy again. Every day at least one of them is having a hard time. Tantrums, crying because they miss daddy, fighting...

I just want this all to be over so we can get settled and see Kirt again. once he gets home he's so tired that I really don't see him almost at all. Then he's falling alseep in church and when the kids want to play with him on the weekend. It's frustrating.

Sorry. I know I'm being a baby, but I don't like it when stuff messes with my family.
I'm done. I don't want to think about it until after we get back.

I thought I'd already posted here, but I just realized that I never did!

Well, it's as I figured, DD7 has strep too!

So, tomorrow will be another day stuck at home. She can't go back to school until she's been on the antibiotics for 24 hours. And DD5 doesn't have school tomorrow so I'll have them both at home.

Not much going on here. I'm attempting to get my Girl Scout cookie stuff done. I've figured out exactly how many boxes each girl sold (or will get credit for selling) and which prizes each girl has won. Now I have to wait to get sizes from the moms. And the rest of the money too.

Poor Kiddo!

Morning! Sadly, yet another night with less-than-fulfilling sleep. I HATE Daylight Savings Time.

In other news, I pushed the button and booked our 3 pre-DVC nights for the summer trip and have been going through the All Ears restaurant list, putting together ideas.

Here's some craziness... Leo goes off on this dissertation about guns this morning - explaining the attributes of pistols, vs. shotguns, vs. rifles, vs. dart guns, etc. I quickly asked where he'd obtained such information and he said "from a book at school." SAY WHAT?!?!?! WTH kind of school keeps a book about guns in a first grade classroom?! I'm hoping it was some kid's book that got mixed in with the school books, but you better believe I'm sending a note of inquiry to the teacher.

Hello Fockers!

well I fell asleep at about 10pm yesterday, which is unheard of for the vampire that I usually am! I guess I needed it tho, because I slept and slept and slept!

yesterday afternoon we cleaned out our storage closet and got rid of a BUNCH of stuff. Now I have to list on craigslist and if things don't sell in a week we are going to freecycle them. It's so nice to have space in the closet again!

I have a carpload to do today tho, changing the sheets and cleaning up the mess we left. plus I am starting to redo the theme of my kitchen from apples & oranges to coffee themed. So this weekend we will probably rip apart the kitchen and change things up. And then there's the 2 clothes closets to do after that. I am prepping for moving, I wanna be through everything so if and when we find a place we can pack easily!

I havent brought it up to Steeb yet. I`m definitly getting the 2 free SW tickets. they can be used from April to April. I really want to take Sam (just me and him) for his 16th birthday at the end of June. dont think its in the budget. we`ll see...

I would love it if Steve had a job that traveled like that! although hes the one who does the homework with Ben and keeps things fairly organised. but he has a tendency to get really naggy!!
he missed his Lexapro this week by about 4 days. I just got off the phone with him and after 2 days of taking it again hes in a great mood.


I am loving this Facebook thing!! I have found so many old friends from differant periods in my life. its almost overwhelming! I kinda feel like I`m in a episode of "this is your life"
One of my friends found a old class mate that moved to CO in the 3rd grade! he remembered us as much as we remembered him. lots of old friends from both H.S I went too. I having so much fun.

Guess who else I found!!!........my ex fiance!!!! we were very ,very close! best friends before anything actually happend. we moved to West Palm Beach together in `87. he became a paramedic and a Police officer. I was just missing home. i was 20. I`ve googled him through the years. hes now in Idaho. last time I saw him, he was sleeping in our bed as I was leaving for the AutoTrain home. I`ll forget it. I still have a soft spot in there.
He hasn`t accepted my friend request yet. its driving me crazy. I keep checking. he must`ve gotten the e mail. but its still pending. maybe he wont at all. but I hope he does.everytime the little red button pops up I wonder,,,,

thanks for letting me "vent" alittle. any advice would be great.

Thanks, Carrie. After everything her teachers have told me through the past three years, I was very surprised to not get a letter. I'm thinking she had a bad day or just doesn't test well. Anyway, I just want her to be where she needs to be, wherever that is.
