Hi Fockers!


I sent my little boy off to 1st grade today. It feels like yesterday was the first day of Kindergarten. Where does time go?

After we dropped him off we headed to Tink's school for her meet the teacher event. What fun! My babies are growing up.

You can do it rosie!Just right click and "save image as" and save to the pc then under changing avatar click browse and find the pic on the pc. dies that make sense????

Well. He's off. Sd left on the bus about 10 minutes ago. He seemed fine so I'm just going to hope he stays that way. No problems at all for the last 2 days or so. Last night I was worried as he complained that his throat was "hard to clear" but then he slept and that was that.

Today is Gus' first day too. He's still sleeping. I figured he would like to sleep as long as possible if he had to start school on his Bday! Poor kid!

Mom's pancakes were DELISH. Today we are making banana bread and Gus' cake. Then kids will be home for lunch.

Good luck to all the little kiddos starting K and Pre-K and Preschool and regular school!! And good luck to all the mommies too! Get your tissues out.

We've been shopping this morning, my baby (Jess) needed to be fitted for a bra, shhhhh she'd kill me if she knew I posted, well it seems she's taking after me as she is already measuring as a 34B We also got her a new school coat. It's also absolutely pouring here or tipping it down

Oh and the baby birds almost look ready to fly

Okay, so the nurse just called again and asked me if I was wanting to do the surgery today!

I told her "no." I guess since my doc is in surgery this morning, she thought maybe we wanted to do it right away. I said that since I'm not in any pain right now, I'd rather wait and talk with her about my options, etc. So, we've still got the 2:30 appointment.

I just want to relax today and get back to life - I am having a hard time adjusting back to reality this time. Tomorrow I have a few errands to run but today I am staying in and cleanign and watching some tv. How is everyone else today???

Yes, I am relieved. He's doing much better now. We just went out for lunch with mom and now we're home again. When she's here she wants to eat every meal OUT. I am more of a homebody and want to eat IN. We just had a big lunch and we're supposed to go to dinner at 5:30 for Gus' bday! Argh. Too much! I guess I shouldn't complain....

I am going to read a magazine. I have a stack about 9 inches high on the fireplace because for the last month or so I've just kept chucking them there waiting till I : 1. had time, 2. wasn't stressed, 3. wasn't packing, 4. wasn't AWAY, 5. could focus on something etc. You know...?

Now it's about to tip over, so I have to get reading.

I know it's my day, but I just got off the phone withthe cable company and they have no idea what I'm talking about and there's no appt on the books. They are doing some reseach and I'm calling the police. This is so scary!!! I'll check in after I call the police.

I've got an appointment for 2:30 this afternoon with my doc. I'll be sure to ask about that. I can still feel something down there but it's just not painful like on Friday. It's uncomfortable, but not what I'd call pain, KWIM? Maybe I just have a high pain threshhold.

This morning I found a six inch, rock hard, centipede crawling out from under my bed. Why is Mr. The King never home when these things make themselves known I let it crawl in a bowl and ran screaming out of the house. Flung the bowl and the weird long creepy bug outside. I am not even afraid of bugs but this one made me nauseous :

My Baby started school this morning!! she was sooo excited...Ben was excited for her too which was really sweet...I took some pictures..I just have to put them into Photo bucket...I`ll post them in a few minutes...

5 foot even. although my drivers liscense says 5ft 2 i admit to nothing!!!

My drivers license also says I"m 110 pounds...

I'm all nervous... K's on the phone with our cable company (holding) because I got a call yesterday from TWC saying that my modem's levels were critical and they would like to set up an appointment. I said okay and set it up for Wednesday.

When I told K today he asked me to call TWC and make sure they set it up because it sounded weird. The first guy I talked to (Tech support) couldn't tell me if I had an appointment but that they don't call people and set up appointments. Now K's on hold to talk to an account specialist to find out about what's going on. He said if they didn't set it up then he was going to make sure I wasn't here on Wednesday. Then he'd call the police and have them sit outside our house. Scary! Now I don't want anyone coming here! I'll be too nervous...

Jon is having lots of issues with his asthma over the past few days. Not feeling great at all. So, we will be heading back to Abq. in a few days to visit his pulmonologist.

In other news...I have my first client at my new job this afternoon!!!

Thank you for the offer. We didn't have a single photopass photo taken on this trip. I only had maybe 12 on our last trip, and I only liked ONE....so I bought that one only. That's me though...I never like the PP pics....

Thank Miss Paula Deen for it but here it is....

Peanut Butter Bread

yields 1 loaf

2 cups all purpose flour (I have used whole wheat and done it 1/2 and 1/2 tasted fine)
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup peanut butter

Preheat @ 375 degrees. Combine dry ingredients. Add milk and peanut butter. Pour into a greased loaf pan. bake for approx 50 minutes (45 usually works for my oven). Stick a toothpick in to check if it's done.

I spread whatever flavor jelly we have on it and it's realllllly good. I'm not much for peanut butter generally but this is not so peanuty and I LOVE it.

You took TInk with you? Is the school still standing We have our meet the teacher for the parents on THursday night and then with Jimmy on Monday morning at 8:00am
