I read this morning that Gustav is going to hit between Florida and South Texas. Really? You think?! But I thought it was next week he was coming- like Monday or Tuesday. Time to watch the news again at night...

Here's a pic of my big boy heading off to preschool this afternoon. He did WONDERFUL and had a good time. He came back all excited that he got to dance. LOL

There were no tears on my part and Linds and I went and did some grocery shopping while he was in school and got the things we needed to make her lunch for school. I can not believe school lunches are $2.50!!!!

Her big day to start Kindy is tomorrow and I hope I do the same as I did today with DR. I don't think it'll really hit me until next week though when both are in school and I really do have that 'free' time!

He's precious!!!

Ugh. I've been downloading pics for this whole year to print off at CVS. It's taking forever. They have buy 50, pay for 30 right now.

Their uploading takes forever so I upload to snapfish and buy at Walgreens. Unless snapfish is having a sale.

I think it'll be interesting to see where Gustav is going to hit. I think I heard they might be starting to evacuate New Orleans already? I think, but they might have said that they are going to propose that as it drawls nearer.

When it's within 72 hours, they'll start evacs.

I don't really have to worry with how far inland I am. We'll just get a lot of rain and some wind. I just don't want it to hit South Padre again. That made me sad. That's our favorite beach. We usually go there every year, but didn't this summer b/c of the Disney trip.

I may have to try Snapfish or Walgreens next time. I had some free prints and then I have a code, so it should be worth it. Not to mention then I can start scrapbooking sooner than if I mail order them.

I think all the chickens are gone because I havent heard the rooster for a while and you can smell them BBQing chicken almost every night but i think they have chicks because I hear small birds chirping...

And yes...$2.50 for lunch. I went and looked at her paperwork just to make sure I wasn't misquoting it, but nope, it's $2.50. LOL And I too think its kind of sucky food when I looked at the menu so she'll be bagging it. Actually bentoing it.
