Team Focker Watch Part 3!

PrincessV said:
This is the place for Team Focker Watch members to congregate, chat, etc. Wanna talk about your latest lime green clothing score? Post it here! Gave someone the Lime Look and want to share? Post it here! Got pictures or tales of other TFW members you've met? Post them here!

As always, all are welcome. :yay: But who are we, anyway????

It all started with one woman's dream... a dream of finding a way to non-verbally acknowledge a fellow DISer across a crowded park...

Summer 2006: a terrific DISer named Lisa posed the question of how to acknowledge all those Lime Green Mickey Heads (LGMH's), lime green Crocs, lime green Baggallini's, lime green DISERS, when one is standing in line or otherwise unable to engage in conversation.

The answer? Robert DeNiro's infamous "I'm Watching You Focker!" gesture from Meet the Parents, now known as the LIME LOOK!

What followed was the joining together of many DISers willing to give the Lime Look to other DISers. We've come a long way, baby! We now have official(ish) mascots to go along with our greeting. (See sorul82?'s Crocker Exchange thread to meet the mascots and take a turn!)

We are TEAM FOCKER WATCH!

One rule:
Let's keep it clean! We all know how much fun one can have with the name Focker, but let's refrain from inappropriate word-plays with it on the boards, k?

And, on that note... I've gotta stop chatting and start writing.

Not my TR, my for-pay work!

Darn math problems! I was helping my kid with math, again, and missed out on the post I wanted to be! Stinkin' kids... :lmao:

Ed- I asked how your puppy is doing today, but we were so busy posting to be first on pg 250, you missed it, I think. :confused3

Well, I wasn't first, but I am on the first page...does that count:lmao:

I do know, and the lack of structure nearly drove me away from Leo's school when I toured it. But Gramma was with me and reminded me that while *I'm* a completely visual learner, Leo most definitely is NOT. Gramma encouraged me to try the school and it's been a super good fit for Leo. It wouldn't have been for me as a kid, for sure.

Carried over from Part 2....;)

Glad it is working out for Leo.:goodvibes I think I am more like you, give me the writing and the reading type classes I am good to go. Good thing Jim is a math teacher, eh?

Sorry, I must have missed it. Let us know what the vet says.

Hmm....it made me sign in again...then I forgot what I was gonna say.

Oh....
V--that's the way Ab feels about math. She loves her history, english, theater and humanities classes and her brain is certainly geared that way. I'm the opposite so I get irritated when she says "when would I EVER need to know the cosin of a triangle??" Uh.....I dunno....but I know how just in case! :snooty:

Well, I have progressed to eating breakfast, and now must work up the energy for a shower. Hey--where's CE anyway??

I'm here. Got the upstairs clean and both bathrooms. Now I have to do the downstairs.....whew.

Thanks for leaving the breadcrumbs DM....

MEL

It didn't make me sign in.

I'll have to "relearn" all that sign and cosign junk when the time comes.

I can't go downstairs or eat or anything before my shower. I feel too yucky. I wish I could enjoy a day in my jammies, but I can't do it. :confused3

I could go for a snack. That special K bar isn't holding me. :headache:

That was fast!

Does this mean DM is in charge now?

OK
so in all my chatting I went to check on Bashful and he was eating 3 pieces of gum:eek: :scared1:
I have to get Bashful dressed and off to p/u Happy. Be back later on ladies.
Have fun:goodvibes

okay, I think you just want to beat out Jo in starting the new thread. ;)
She does Lessa :rotfl2:

So I have decided that I am not going to continue with the interview process with the company I interviewed with yesterday. I did a bit more research on them, (originally I had just checked out the company webpage) and decided that the job really wasn't for me. I called the guy up and thanked him for the opportunity but that for personal reasons I would no longer be seeking employment with their company.
Better to find out the jobs not for you now Lessa, the right one will come along :thumbsup2

JO-I hope Jess is ok with her eye:hug:
Last night she then poked a pencil in the same eye :sad2:

Whoo HOOOO!!! A MANwich!! :woohoo:

Errrr..... wait, never mind.... you're talking about the meal, right? Nevermind.
:rotfl2:

At any rate, in 1993 Dr. Belle had just gotten back from the College Program at WDW, and she & S invited myself and Beth to the Fair, and we dressed up as clowns to be in the big Fair parade. Here we are
Hilarious photo CE!!!!

I totally lose my patience trying to help BA with math---I'm a very good math person, and she wants to argue with me! Her teacher says she is an "auditory" learner---but yet she won't be quiet and LISTEN!
Sorry but :rotfl2:

But she was behind in her facts cause they never stopped to actually LEARN the mulitiplication table.
Over here they have mental times tables tests everyday from the age of about 6 to 11!!!!

Hi Jo! Good luck with the catching up part! I couldn't even catch up from breakfast!
Did it :yay:

Those manwiches look gross, sorry, we don't have those here!!!!
