Let's see here. Puggy originally aske ME ME ME to come down to NYC. Then Kat jumped on board, then CE, and now you. But you failed to answer my response to it ... hmmm ... am I being shoved out now? J/k

I would never ever drive down to NYC. I'm too scared for that. I could take JetBlue direct down but who's gonna pick me up? Or a bus, I guess. I've never done that.

In all seriousness I'm a very short subway ride from NYC so anyone who needed to be met at the trains I can def do that if need be. I think we need to get serious about this possibility! I am good for whenever is good for everyone else-just let me know and I will free up the time. If we want to all eat somewhere I'll happily look into it for us- just let me know!

It cracks me up how everyone thinks NYC is so dangerous...I just don't get it but I live here so I guess its beyond me. Even my family from Long Island doesn't get it but oh well! LOL.

Kind of the same here Father Christmas brings the small stocking stuff (well it usually ends up being over $200 of small stuff ) then we buy the main pressie also we put presents under the tree from other people!

Love that word You should feel really proud of yourself that he asked you but if you didn't really lke the job before and after childcare costs you wouldn't earn much then don't do it, just feel good for being asked though

That definitely would be a hoot. I can't even begin to plan for that until after Rob gets his vacation schedule someday this month. And then we'd need to talk. But I definitely would love to do this.

I can def relate to that. I go into the city all the time by myself and with the boys but I remember doing it for the 1st time and it was intimidating.

My vote is for the Minnie tree topper.

I have only visited NYC once before. My mom and I took the train up from Virginia Beach for a long weekend. We went in February so it was VERY cold. Didn't find it scary though, just really big and really busy.

One time we were driving up to Newport, Rhode Island from Va Beach and as we were driving through NYC Erich announced he had to go to the bathroom. I swear that kid always had to pee, it was a running joke in our family. Anyways long story short we had to get off the highway and drive through the city which was very stressfull so that Erich could go pee. We stopped at a McDonalds where my dad had to buy a coffee in order to use the bathroom and then we hightailed it out of there. Driving in the city = no fun.

I'm going with Minnie because it's a star and I like stars on trees better than angels. Although the tink one is cute..

You've never been to NYC DM? Wow. Although I haven't either, except in the airport when I was 12, but that doesn't really count. I would love to visit some day though.
