--------------------

Another severe thunderstorm warning... This has been a very exciting two weeks around here. Today is our last day of school. I have to get my house clean by 10:30 am and then pop over to DS10's class for last day celebration and teacher gifts. Then he has a friend coming over to play for a while. Also, the next round of glass guys are coming by after noon today.

This will be busy busy busy. I hope to get time to walk on the treadmill later. No walking outdoors today! Skeerryy!

Hope you guys are all doing well. If you don't see me, think fondly of me while I scrub pottys...:worried:

Mel:banana:

Day one: I entered Barbieville at 0800 hours - :eek: Ok this place is a Dermotologist Laser Center and Boutique. It's freakin' ridiculous. Apparently the Dr. is UBER famous in OC and like one of the top derms in the area. BUT her office is run by a bunch of flippin' botoxed Barbie dolls. The office is very beautiful, though. They play this new aged music and have a cappuccino maker for the "clients" - not patients, but "clients". Oh and of course Pellegrino and a cookie tray. :rolleyes:

I'm answering phones, filing/pulling charts, new patient information, etc. NOTHING what I've studied in school. It's ridiculous. Do I complain to my instructor and request a transfer or do I stick it out in easy peasy Barbieville for another 72 hours?? :worried:

I would just stick it out::yes:: If nothing else, you willhave good stories to tell us:lmao: Seriously, if you don't think you are going to learn anything I would talk to the instructor. Good Luck:thumbsup2

No time to reply to everyone. BUT HELLO from me!

This is a hoot. A true must watch for T!

Gotta go Drunko time...errr Bunko Time!::yes::

I tried, but there was no video when I clicked the link:confused3

She said to take the dressing off whilst we are at home and let it air out some--------then put the cream on it and wrap really good with nonstick pad and gauze when she is busy.
The poison ivy looks so bad---just can't dry out under the bandage.

I miss Bunco! :( I was in 2 groups in my old neighborhood.

What did they give you to put on it? Ivy Dry is something Jim uses when he gets poison ivy..which is every summer:confused3

That's what I was going to say. :thumbsup2 When B had that huge boo boo from falling off her bike this spring, it wouldn't dry up until she let me keep the bandage off it a bit. Good luck! :goodvibes

I miss bunco too. :( My friend in Houston just went to play for the first time last night. It must have been national bunco night. :lmao:

OMGosh....

I just got done watching P.S. I Love You.

Holy Crap.

1st. That Gerard Butler is truly lick worthy. I just wanna lick him and have him mow my lawn shirtless. He definitely gets a rrrrrrrooooooowwwwwrrrrr...pssst...pssst.

2nd. I have not cried that hard at a movie in forever. It was definitely a 5 tissue flick.

Jon walked in...took one look at me and rolled his eyes. :rotfl2:
You are always good for a laugh, girl! :hug: Now, I'm taking note so I can watch the movie when I'm recovering! ;)

I would just stick it out::yes:: If nothing else, you willhave good stories to tell us:lmao:
I agree. Maybe you'll see someone FAMOUS! :banana:

Happy Graduation Day, Jimmy!!!!
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Mel- Happy Anniversary!

I'm getting my babies back today. I'm so glad. B was on the phone crying again yesterday afternoon. She had a migraine and my really loud nephew was over so she couldn't get some quiet time. She wanted me to come get her, but it was rush hour and my SIL was onher way to get my nephew. She sounded better last night. I'm so glad she's coming home today.
My big fear is that they will have a really hard time when I'm in the hospital. Maybe I should ask mom if she can stay here with the kids. :confused3 I'm brillant!!! :banana: :laughing: I think she will do it after this whole drama. The hard part is she can't go upstairs because she can't walk up the stairs and we have no bedrooms downstairs. I'll have to talk to her about it later.

Happy Friday, everyone! :yay:

In all the hub bub of getting a new surgery date, I forgot to tell you all what I saw at a red light yesterday...
A guy with a huge cowboy hat on, driving a forest green Dodge Caravan with flames painted on the side!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl:

What the heck?! That does NOT make the minivan COOL!!!! :lmao:

Is this thing on? :confused3 Where is everybody?

I'm leaving in a second, but I wanted to say that my mom agreed to stay here with the kids while I'm in the hospital. :cool1: I think that'll be much easier on the kids.
I'm off to get my babies!!! :hyper: See you all in a few hours!

Two bathrooms clean! And floors all vacuumed and kitchen mopped.
Whew!

I'm here Dawn, gotta keep cleaning though! That's great news about your mom staying at the house. :goodvibes

Ok, going to tackle my bedroom.

:confused3 You didn't take a class on how to keeping your fake tata's out of the way while answering the phone. It is very important that you do not let one of them dial an out side number while you reach over to put someone on hold.:lmao:
Being serious now. If you will not get out of this what you need, please talk to whom ever sets these up. This is supposed to be a learning experience.

I'm in the laundry and the "OMG--I've got so much to get done" stage right now!

But I gotta brake a moment and get a shower whilst the clothes are in a good stage!

I'm up. My head hurts. Bunko was a blast last night. I drank far too much though.:headache:

Dawn- I am glad your motha is going to stay at your house. What the hey with the mini van?:confused3 :lmao: I bet you had to look twice. Welcome home kiddos!

Janet- Happy graduation day. Bring some tissues.

T- How long do you have to externship? Is it at least paid?

Jen- I need to watch that. I wanted to see it in the theater. Yea right. At least I can cozy up in the comfort of my home and watch it now.

Rosie- You ordered lime green lanyards, is that what your saying?

Here is the link once again. Hope you can open it. Peanut Butter crackers. mmmmm.

Depends... do you feel like you really need the hands-on experience to bolster your knowledge? If not, I say enjoy the free ride in Barbieland! ;)

so, i didn't walk on the treadmill, but dh and i played badmitton (sp?) for about 45 min this evening. it was fun and i was winded and dripping with sweat when we were done. :eek:
WTG - that's probably an even better workout than the treadmill! :thumbsup2

IToday is Jimmy's BIG day. Graduation:rolleyes1
Congraduations Jimmy! :yay:

My update: It's still hot. And humid. And rainy each afternoon. :rolleyes:

Been out all day with my mom. I think she just wants me to never clean again. I got home and dd comes to the front door but doesn't enter. I hear her say "Mom can I do an experiment with my hair". I told her she could die the tips pink. This could easily be trimed off in a few weeks if needed. This is what her and her friend ended up doing.
Slightly more than the tips huh :rotfl2:

BA's wound still looks kinda bad---the wound care nurse where I work said we gotta get it to stop oozing stuff before she can swim (and of course we leave Saturday).. Not gonna be a good beach trip with no sand and swimming.
Poor thing, hope it heals, as others have said have you tried leaving it bare for a while?

Jo the girls still haven't found the cord hopefully this weekend Judy will have time to hunt for it !! I am excited to be going to Fockerfest in FLAT form! Anyway if they don't find the cord I'll figure out some way to get pix printed and then when they are ready will mail them to you ! It will be nice to be "HOME" again even if I'm FLAT!!:rotfl2:
:thumbsup2

OMGosh....

I just got done watching P.S. I Love You.
I haven't seen it yet but I knew it wasn't one to watch at the cinema :rotfl2:

::yes:: Sure they teach you the basics in school, but it's the hands on that really helps, KWIM? I flippin' HATE answering phones!! :furious:

CE: Loved the photos! Hey, you're not an amazon, you're a GLAMAZON! :thumbsup2

I knew that! ;)

Oh, good.

No one laugh at me but, what is Bunco.

It's OK - it is NOT a midwest thing. I'd never heard of it until I moved to NH. It's a dice game that you play at tables of four, rolling ones, then twos, etc. I forget the rules - I've only played twice, but it's really easy and most people seem to drink heavily as they play. Which is why I forget the rules. :lmao:

I think of it as a dice game that is kind of like euchre - which no one around here knows about at all - an easy social game.

I'm sorry, V. :hug:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
D took the kids to t-ball last night so I vacuumed and did some stuff that's easier when they're gone.
We're going to a playdate at my closest local friend's - she has girl twins whom the boys adore, and a pool! :thumbsup2 :rotfl: It's nice here, though. Supposed to get to 83, but no humidity. Sorry again, V.
D got up and got the boys off to school, and I slept a ton more than I thought I could or even wanted to. So now I'm really feeling lazy and I haven't done anything this morning - and I have to get the boys in 40 minutes. :eek: :rotfl2:
Won my golf again :yay: it was a tight match though and we had to play the 19th hole!!!!
Congrats on the golf game.
Busy day here. I will get this house in order or die trying. Dd let me know the best part about her hair.
It will glow under black lights.:scared1:
Ds is playing and I am cleaning cleaning cleaning. It is raining out and is going to do so all day, but it is now in the low 80's. Talk to you all tonight.
BUNKO IS THE BEST! We play it one night a month, the same night always. The thing is... shhh... we sometimes, errr many times don't end up playing. We socialize for the first hour or so and before you know it the time has flown by and the wine bottles have emptied. We have a hoot.
T- I am glad you only have to do this for 9 more days. Too bad it is not paid. I would go today and if it isn't any better, I would talk to your instructor. There is nothing worse than training that isn't beneficial!
Sounds like there is some pretty crappy weather out there today. You all can come up to MN, it is 70's and sunny! :duck: :)
Jen2: I had to read your sentence like 3 times before I caught that you weren't being vulgar! :lmao: Mow your WHAT??? :eek:
I can't believe you thought that! :scared1: I'm sooooo not like that! :rolleyes1
Hi FOckers!
T - you do not need to learn to answer the phone, somehow I think you have mastered that technique. If I recall properly your cell has a camera, how can we forget those scrunchie pics from Thomas the Train outing.:lmao:
Janet - you give Jimmy a big hug and high five from Aunt Mo:goodvibes
Jen - I totally agree about Gerard Butler, but haven't seen that movie yet!
Jo - Let me guess, playing golf? Hope you do well.
Dawn - I think I saw your surgery is moved up:thumbsup2 :hug:
Everyone else a big Jersey Hello!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I have everything in the garage ready for tomorrow's sale, someone already stopped by and spent $30.00:thumbsup2 I just got back from Michael's and need to make some signs to point the way to my house from the main road.

Other than that I am exhausted, worked late yesterday and I have been going since 5 am this morning!

Have a good day Fockers!

Good luck tomorrow Mo and $30 already :thumbsup2

Well, graduation was a complete disaster. 1/2 the kids wouldn't walk in with the group (jimmy included) and the other half cried through the whole thing:lmao: But he is graduated and he can go to PreK next year...yeah, like I was concerned abou that
