Ok, so the more I think about this whole graduatio thing the more I have to :rotfl2: This was done so much more for the parents than for the kids. You had to see these parents. Balloon Bouquets, Flowers, and enough video equipment to make Steven Spielberg jealous. IT was actually kid of ridiculous.

I really hope they don't do anything for next year when he is done PreK. Jimmy is just a "spotlight" kind of kid, KWIM...

Hi y'all! :wave2: I read the last 4 pages, but I"m too bushed to quote everything.

Janet - Yay for Jimmy's Graduation:cool1:

Mo - Good luck on the garage sale.:thumbsup2

Dawn - glad to hear things are looking up and you'll be on the mend soon!

Jen1 - LMAO at that link! I loved it! :lmao:

Hi to everyone else! :goodvibes

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day 2 at Barbieville. I spoke with my program director this morning and she told me to just stick it out. I'll be done in no time and she really wants me to stay there. I decided to suck it up and hang out for 8 more days, it is entertaining at least. popcorn:: The cattiness alone is worth staying for. These broads talk about eachother all day long, it's freakin' hysterical! TourGuide Barbie-TGB (the main receptionist - yes I decided to take Rachel's advice and name them) decided to call in sick today, so FatBarbie (Me) had to take over her position and basically run the front office. It was WAY more fun today! I actually got to do some "real" work! :banana: Alabaster Skin Barbie (asst. office manager) loved that I organized all of TGB drawers and work space, so that ought to piss TGB off on Monday. :stir: Stay tuned for day 3.
Well, I couldn't stand it anymore.... my teeth are in a pile on the floor. :lmao: Kidding, of course. I'm dealing with it ok - I'm such a big weenie, no tolerance for pain at all! :headache: Here's the bright side, I've lost 2.5 pounds, since I can't really eat much. I'm so excited - I'm just 1 stomach flu away from my goal weight. Heh heh heh.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads and a :hug: to all the fockers who will be remembering their fathers on Sunday.
Come out, Come out Sherriff!
I see yer light on!
Mel::cop:
Hi Janet! :wave2:
Katt's light is on too. Where are you Katt?
Mel:)
Oh Sheriff, where are you???????????? :confused3 COme out come out where ever you are!
Oh That is Funny... I haven't tbeen gone that long
O.K.. O.K....
Light MAY have been on .. but no one was HOME...
Sara was using my computer and I have the "dis" as my homepage and Sara will usually just open another tab to the internet and leave the "Dis" open.
THIS is my first time to visit today.
All That I saw was that My "Light" was On :rotfl2:
I have been cleaning till my legs hurt. The OLDER I get the More OCD I become.. especially with leaving for vacation. I want the house to be clean like I have it on the market to sell and tomorrow is "OPEN HOUSE":faint:
sad huh.. I will not get the carpets cleaned.. and may not get some slacks cut off and hemed into shorts. But I am gonna try.
It's morbid.. but I just hate the thought of people going through my house (incase We do not come back alive..) and seeing untidy drawers, closets, etc.
I even leave all our info for a neighbor of people to contact, banking, etc just in case.
Yeah pretty much 3 days till Disney.. I just can not get excited... Stressing about getting EVERYTHING done Before I leave for Disney.. add to that...
Sara's ear has been really hurting to the point I gave her some Codiene to help her sleep the last two nights. Today she is doing better.
So.. ya been looking for me :lovestruc
See everyone next Saturday---which is Janet's birthday and I'm meeting her a Wildwood (right Janet???)
:wave: We'll misssss you!!!
Something to get you thinking, pinched from the UK CB!
How sad is it that this is what I'm doing on a Friday night...:rotfl2:
Well, I went to lunch with some friends from work. The drinking was going so well that we moved to one of their homes. Where I may or may not have polished off a bottle of Arbor Mist. That's practically apple cider, so I don't feel so bad.
I have some big news I think.
I'm moving. To the same town as my motha. :scared1: I'm 95% sure. Jon has been having some health issues and we need to be closer to his doctors. I've lived in my hometown my whole life. A town of 35,000. And now I'll be moving to a city of almost a million. :faint: I'm quitting my job and I'm in the hunt for a new one.
I have officially gone crazy. I think. Or maybe it's the arbor mist talking.
Katt--have a great trip to our mother land! We expect great Focker representation! I'll wave at your plane (you'll be in the one that says "come to Hooters tonite", right???) :lmao:
Adios Fockers (unless I'm back on tomorrow--we aim to leave by 10ish. ONly a 6 hour trip and we can't check in till 3.
Adios Fockers (unless I'm back on tomorrow--we aim to leave by 10ish. ONly a 6 hour trip and we can't check in till 3.
I'm feeling like you just returned from somewhere:confused3 ;) Have a fabulous trip!
Is this the Arbor Mist talking, or Jen?
How much closer to motha are we talking? Is this a place Jon will get better care and be happy?
Can you move now? What is the housing market in your hood? In ours we have homes sitting for over a year. :headache:
Is it hard to find a job in your specialty?
I'm going to pray for you girlie friend.
Katt- You are almost there!
Rachel- The way I see it, you cleaned yesterday, so you are needing to do that again today.
Kat- You need noise canceling earphones. I wear them to scrapbook weekends and they are great!:thumbsup2
T- I love the attitude! Love that you are embracing the situation and LOVE the soap operaish tales that we will get to hear!:lmao:
T- Do you have any end insight for the morbid heat? Like before fall? How are things going in the office?
Janet- We did a little grad party for K this year. It was totally for US...the parents. But I loved it! :rotfl:
Mo- Hope you pawn your junk off on someone else and score some pocket change on the way.
Jo- I totally love those puzzles. I only found 5 horses, no matter how I looked. I did see 10 of the faces though.
Dawn- i am super glad they were able to bumpity bump that appt. Heres to hoping your DH was kosher with the furniture purchase.
________________________________________________________________
I am babysitting my friends kids tonight. Tomorrow they are returning the favor to us. They have one of those kick butt massage chairs, so I massaged my back for over and hour (after I put the kiddos to sleep). It rocked! They are potty training their dd and we had more than several accidents tonight. She never once said she had to potty. I'd put her on the potty, she'd go then minutes latter she'd go in her pants. :headache: The worst was #2....:faint: What fun! I am so glad we are out of this stage!
I know what ya mean jen ... I to babysat last night... my sis's 2 youngest... they are just like their mama... gettin in to everything ... :faint:
Thank goodness it is over... now I just get to spoil DH today and go see my dad as we are celebrating Fathers Day today since I work tomorrow...
Hope all the Fockers have a great weekend :)
Come out, Come out Sherriff!
I see yer light on!
Mel::cop:
Oh Sheriff, where are you???????????? :confused3 COme out come out where ever you are!
Yeah.. I do FINALLY SHOW UP.. and Y'all leave. Yeah sure .. "Tease the Sheriff".. it's not nice to tease the Sheriff... just for that .. I'm claiming your bets + an additional 10 points each... AND you have to sing "YMCA "in a thong Bikini.:lmao:
I'll check back in later on today for a few. Have them suits on girls and in your best singing voice;)
Good morning, girls. :goodvibes
Jen2- Wow! :scared1: That's a big deal, I think. You're such a good mama to do what you need to do for your baby. :hug: Good luck! Keep us updated.
T- That was too funny! I love the names of the barbies! :lmao:
TE- I'll miss you !!! Have fun! :hyper:
Jen- Thanks for the good wishes. I survived. He didn't even get cranky.
About the loveseat... It's super cool with it's little remotes, but the seat back was up even on one side. So, DH took it apart and he's fixing it. What a dork I am to buy something from a warehouse that needs him to fix it already. :bitelip: Thank goodness he can! He says to stop apologizing and that he really thinks it's cool, so don't worry.
I just want it done so my house can be nice and tidy. :worried:
So, I have to run to the meat market and to get a few other things today. Then K says we're going to finish the project of cleaning up the school closet/our room so I can recover without my OCD kicking in and forcing me to fall out of bed in an attempt to clean! :rotfl2:
What did everyone decide to do for Father's day? We're going to church and then just hang out. We have a nice steak dinner planned too. We bought K a baseball glove since his is falling apart, litterally. Then, of course, the yearly "My dad's the best" shirt. :thumbsup2
Good morning Fockers!
We are off to baseball this am. 9 AM morning.:faint: I am so tired this morning. I hope to check in later today. Hope you all have a great day!
p.s.
Dawn- I am super glad you didn't get in trouble with the sofa.
Tanya- babysitting others kinder can be tough!::yes:: We get so used to our own kids.
Mel did you find any good deals while out.
I went shopping on-line at Disney and got some $4.99 tee's for an extra 15% off. We will now all be sporting matching tee's on July 4th.:thumbsup2
We shopped at Kohl's since poor DH is 6'5". He can get tall sizes there! He found some cool madras shorts ($17), a few tshirts($10), two polo shirts (they're in some special material so you don't get all sweaty) for $20 each. I think that's it. Let me tell you, shopping for clothes with him just SUCKS the joy right out of me! :confused3 Men have NO clue how to have fun shopping....:faint:
Yeah pretty much 3 days till Disney.. I just can not get excited... Stressing about getting EVERYTHING done Before I leave for Disney.. add to that...
So.. ya been looking for me :lovestruc
Now listen here, Missy! You are hereby ORDERED, yeah I said it, to stop obsessing and have fun! Right Fockers? RIGHT?!!! Step away from the dust mop. ::yes::
How sad is it that this is what I'm doing on a Friday night...:rotfl2:
Not too sad. I'm doing it too. :cool1:
:rotfl2: I need daily barbie updates. Thank you.
Ha! Me too! :hyper:
Hello to everyone I didn't quote! :wave2:
Dawn: :hug: that your hubby likes the chair!
Kat: Tell KC if you don't sleep you'll be GRUMPY! ::yes::
V, Lessa, Jo, T, TE, Rachel, and anyone I missed : HI! Having a good day? Hope so!!
I'm off to do some laundry. I don't have much but I'm trying to keep it to about 2 loads at all times so that I won't have a huge amount to wash before Thurs. My only goals vacation-wise today are to get the freezer cleaned out a bit. It's such a jumble that when I open it, stuff falls out. And to locate the suitcases....My boys are FINALLY done with school! Yahoo! I think we will be taking our trip to Hallmark for cards later today. If you want to know what I got my DH for Father's Day, you'll just have to pop over to my PRE-TR and read!
Shameless Shameless....:sad2:
MEL:banana:
Wow that is a big move. Hope it all works out. By same town do you mean other side of same town with a river between you and a bridge that is out of order or is it more like " Wow mom you really can walk from your house to mine. How nice".
Adios Fockers (unless I'm back on tomorrow--we aim to leave by 10ish. ONly a 6 hour trip and we can't check in till 3.
We do nothing here. My dad passed away when I was in high school and my kid's dad's both left when I got pg. Neither wanted more kids. My dd is adjusted but it is hard on ds since he is only 4 he doesn't understand it. He has been talking a lot about his daddy lately. I could just cry when he starts talking about his daddy because I do not know what to say to him. Then he sees my brother with his son and it is just confusing for him. Day 2 at Barbieville. I spoke with my program director this morning and she told me to just stick it out. I'll be done in no time and she really wants me to stay there. I decided to suck it up and hang out for 8 more days, it is entertaining at least. popcorn:: The cattiness alone is worth staying for. These broads talk about eachother all day long, it's freakin' hysterical! TourGuide Barbie-TGB (the main receptionist - yes I decided to take Rachel's advice and name them) decided to call in sick today, so FatBarbie (Me) had to take over her position and basically run the front office. It was WAY more fun today! I actually got to do some "real" work! :banana: Alabaster Skin Barbie (asst. office manager) loved that I organized all of TGB drawers and work space, so that ought to piss TGB off on Monday. :stir: Stay tuned for day 3.
This is just too funny. I will be looking forward to each and every episode of your life now. Could you just get a job there for our entertainment.
Janet - Yay for Jimmy's Graduation
GOod morning ladies. Just a quick check in. We have to leave for the eye doctor shortly. Then when we come back I have to throw the LAST load of laundry in before I go pick up my sister in law and nephew for the BBQ. My brother will come over after work.
I'm going to pray for you girlie friend.
Ummmm...nope...it was me talking. And now I'm sober...so it'll really be me talking. Not that I was ever not sober...:rolleyes1
It is easy to find work in my specialty...but I'm thinking of doing something different. Maybe some non-profit work.
And here's the big kicker...I'll be moving in with my mother and until we can find a condo that's perfect. :eek:
And hopefully, we'll be moving in the next couple of weeks so that I can get Jon into a great school and I can get paid double over the summer. I get paid all summer for my school job, so I would like to start another job ASAP to earn double pay.
Jon will be close to his docs...all 10 million of them. And, they have a school designed specifically for neurologically impaired kidlets. Very cool.
I must have lost my mind.
AND I had JUST washed all of the "JUNK CLEANING TOWELS" folded them and neatly stacked them LAST NIGHT.. now they are all dirty again. :furious: Because of all of the water that leaked all over the floor.
It will cost between 500.00 and 2500.00 depending on the damage.:faint:
Cheesecake... I like cheesecake.
I am just so sick of all of this.. now they will be doing the work WHILE I am away in Disney... I know the man personally but I worry about the help.. and having people in my house whiile I am away.Never done that before.
Then again I could put up a sign this way to the valuables... and leave another sign saying help yourself to the trains.. I did ask if he would take trains in trade for the work.:hyper:
