Short Story... as I am tooo right now.
Sara fell down on the steps at school and missed three steps hitting the ground.. she has a sprained ankle( yes it is sprained and it is swollen)
As they were leaving for the day to the busses.
Her teacher did not help her up, NOR did she call me.. NO ONE AT THE SCHOOL CALLED ME. Her BFF called me from her cellphone. The school PUT HER ON THE BUS

Scott helped her off the bus... and I just came back from giving her @#!$#^^&$@!#$#@$$@!! Teacher a BIG piece of my mind..
WTH ( and this time I mean H E double toothpicks) is wrong here. Got no good answer as to why they put her on the bus.

Bartender... Pina Colada.. No Virgin..
Oh and a Cappuccino chaser.

I just handed down Ab's cell to BA (cause I got Ab a new LG Rumor for her b-day).....but I really like my kids to have a cell at school. Many times Ab has texted me that she doesn't feel good (migraine/female related usually) and I'll go get her. The school nurse won't send them home unless they are 1-puking 2-fever over 110

But...but...but that's not as much fun

So my week away...........

The weather was pretty rubbish, the first few days it just rained and rained Emma was also there with her DH and boys and OMG I am totally in love with Ben, he's such a cutie and he's 14 weeks now Yesterday I really made him giggle it was so sweet! Trouble with them staying too though was the lack of sleep, between the 2 of them they woke up about 3 or 4 times each night, I'm so not used to sleepless nights

Over the week we went to the park, had a look around my step sisters new house (it's a complete disaster zone which needs complete gutting!) the girls went to the zoo with Em and boys whilst Dad, Joe (Em's DH), David and I played golf. Em and I went to see S and the City, it was good but not worth all the hype IMHO. Ummmm yesterday we went to the beach for a long walk (it was cloudy!) and ended up eating fish and chips by the beach and had a pineapple fritter for dessert, then the men went to see Indiana Jones and my Step Sis took the girls swimming.

On the way home today we stopped and bought the girls their Wii and David nearly had a heart attack doing boxing on it

Oh and my Mum flew to the States yesterday, they're visiting her partners cousins in North Dakota, they're also going to visit Yellow stone park and I've put in my normal order for milk duds

So all in all a nice week, I couldn't believe I went so long without the DIS

I do not miss those sleepless nights.

Just got done with dinner and clean-up. Now I am free to go read Eclipse (that's the 3rd in the Twilight series...) I finished 2 today and RAN to the library for the 3rd!

I guess I could DIS for a while too... DH is WoW'ing with the boys tonight. I should be happy they all play the video games together and he never complains about my DIS time...

Hoping to see Indy this weekend. It's supposed to "severe storm" here tonight but no sign of a rain cloud yet. Tomorrow and Sunday are going to be nice. I am baking a strawberry rhubarb pie with rhubarb from my garden tomorrow! Yummy! What are all you guys doin?

I stopped by Target and Kohls to get some things for our trip. The boys needed shorts and swimsuits. Great deals at Kohl's! I tried on two suits myself and promptly remembered why I haven't bought one in 3 years....

I hope everyone is doing something fun this weekend! There's a race on Sunday so I'll be Nascar'ing on that day!

I think we are going to get your storm tomorrow. It is going to be 82 but they are calling for severe hail

We were supposed to go to the airshow at McGuire AirForce Base, but with possible hail that is out so I am going to use tomorrow to get stuff out and tagged for my garage sale and then if I get everything down we may hit the AIr Show on Sunday. The Thunderbirds are going to be there so we really would like to go see them.

Tonight I am going to run up to PArty CIty to pick up things for Jimmy's Birthday party (no his birthday isn't until September). He wants a Lilo & Stitch party and they have all their Luau stuff on sale this week!

And for what I wanted I could get cheaper through Birthday Express or Oriental Trading Company. Jimmy wants a Lilo & Stitch Party so I have to get Luau things and I need to get everything before we leave becasue his Birthday Party will be the week after we get back from Fla. His acutal Birthday is on labor day. Plus if I start buying stuff a little at a time I am not putting all that $$ out at one time...makes sense, no? I will have to make the invites and mail them before we leave too. Um, yeah like I dn't have enough other stuff to do

Well, got to the gym this morning, got my eyebrows waxed, then came home and got the kids. Ate & showered, took the van to finally get the tire pressure gauge dealio reset.

Got home and one of Woody's classmates asked us to go to get ice cream. So we did, and the classmate and her year younger sister came and played for an hour.

Did our pizza & a movie - Ratatouille - and now I think I'm all packed!

T-ball tomorrow is from 11-1. I think we'll go out to eat and then just take me to the shuttle bus.

D did get into Nice just fine.

At any rate, I think I'm out. See you on the 9th - unless I check in live from France on D's laptop (mine is staying for the boys and IL's use.)

Hey Mel! Your pie sounds yummy!! Annie had Graduation from her church pre school tonite. very cute! I`ll post pictures soon. I invited both her godmothers who are good friends of mine..one of whom was my best friend for years..now we are off on again sort of thing she got re-married in August, Annie was a flower girl..but we dont have the same relationship since she got re-married. her hubby was camping with the Boy Scouts this weekend (for her son) so thats why she came..but it was a good time. everybody came back to my house after for drinks and fun!.. it felt good to connect again...
Got T-Ball at 9:30. baseball at 11 and A birthday party for a boy that Annie goes to school with at a park..then work at the package store at 4. and 12-6 on Sunday also..Steve not happy with the Sunday hours...wants me to talk to the manager..but its time and half..gotta get to ip dip fest somehow!!!

Hey everyone! I'm up late as usual... We had a Looooong day.

Saw S & The City...Loved it! Went for some pizza for lunch (with KC, Luis & D) then we went to Coney Island for a while and wandered around. KC tried to get me on the cyclone...that scary wooden death trap! Then we came back to the house and hung around and eventually all went to the diner for some dinner. It was a long but fun day. I am just about to drop so I'm off to read a bit and pass out!
