My hubby's half-retarded because I called this am to tell him could he call the dentist and reschedule A's appt for today b/c I wasn't feeling well. He had an appt today too, so I thought that was reasonable since I don't ask for him to do things much.

A half hour late, I had B call him and remind him. He said he'd talk to them when he got there, which I thought was silly since his appt was 1.5 hours before A's. But I let it go since I didn't want to do it.

At 11:20 (20 mins after A's appt) he calls and says, "You're late for A's appt."
Geez. He said he thought I meant my appt, not A's. I don't HAVE an appt. I went two weeks ago. He knew A was after him because I told him we may run into him and say "Hi". Does he EVER listen to what I say?!
Grrrr.....

Lindsey got some kind of Barbie book (like the level 1 reading ones or whatever is for kids in K-2nd grade) and sat and read the whole thing out loud by herself. I'm so proud of my baby girl and how well she's doing.

I was just turning the water to the shower for the boys - we are trying to wean them into doing their own. I used to wash them and their hair, then it was just their hair and they did their own body scrubbing, now we're finally down to just me turning the water on. Anyway, the downstairs bathroom that they use as "theirs" is the only room we haven't yet extensively remodeled, and it has these old ugly brass hooks for washclothes or whatever. I bent down to turn on the water, and hit one of them right on my brow bone. I have an ENORMOUS goose egg on my eyelid. It hurts. It's ugly. Sigh.

KC isn't home yet either. I don't even know if he left work yet. It's almost 2 hours after he was supposed to leave.

Anyways I'm off to play my DS in hopes it keeps me up.

Leo is beyond excited at this point; he just keeps randomly grinning at me and saying in this high-pitched little voice "We're almost at Disney Mommy!" This morning he added a little more: "I miss my friends. I can't wait to see them at Disney!" I agree 100%.

Good morning all. I am now down to 5 work days (not counting today) until vacation. How did I lose a day...I get to work from home on Friday So I have to kick but today and tomorrow to get stuff done, but then I can work from home Friday. I can get stuff doen while I'm working, which is good...like laundry. Jimmy is having a sleepover Saturday Night and then the inlaws are coming for dinner on Sunday Night for MIL's birthday (Which is actually next Tuesday).

I was thinking that today is the day to go fill out the substitute teacher application, because D's home and I want to get it done before he leaves all next week. But I'm kind of not wanting to go looking like this.

As Dr. Belle noted on my FB page, it's easy to feel sorry for D, because it doesn't look good.

I did the Active this morning and now I'm going to shower. D says he doesn't think it looks THAT bad, so I may go ahead and do that.

Nope not NotBob....Bob the cricket. While you were away my children went hunting for insects (I've been corrected by the budding entomologist that only bugs are bugs but all others are insects ) B, the 6 year old, brought home a cricket, named him Bob and is keeping him as a pet. Along with George the wooly-bear catapillar who has passed.

My child needs a pet. I think I'll get him a feeder gold fish.

I have been a horrible Focker , I have been trying to keep up, it has just been so busy lately. I found a lump on the side of Bill's neck and freaked out. My Mom died of cancer so it really shook me up. We went to the doctor last friday, he gave Bill antibiotics and set us up for a surgeon in 2 weeks IF the lump doesn't go away, he says it is a swollen lymph node. It seems a tiny bit smaller, but I am still freaked out about it. I think my heart would stop if anything happened to my Bill .

We are working on building another website so that is taking up a lot of my time, working on my binder project, crafting projects, banners for Enchanted (have to do more of that today), and stuff for our trip too. I am hoping to stay caught up from now on. Thanks Kristel for the updates, I really appreciate them!

As for the Twitter I think you can reply. Off to the side there should be a drop down box and one of the options is to reply to the Tweet. Of course if doing it on your phone I don't know if it can be done or not? I didn't understand the whole thing so I just deleted my account. LOL

Kids are at daycare. Once again that mommy guilt got to me this morning. Lindsey's telling me she's sick and doesn't want to go. DR threw a fit and didn't want to go. I know as soon as they get there and start playing they will be fine, it just drives me nuts to have to go through this every morning and to hear my kids don't want to go. Our neighbor was working there this morning so that made them both a little more happier in wanting to stay and play.

I already did my computer class this morning. It's basically a work at your own pace type class and I have about 3 more lessons to do before I'm done with course work. Once that's done I can take the final and basically stop having to go. Math class is this afternoon with a test. YUCK! I think I'm ready for it. I've done enough practice problems that I should do fine on it.

That's about it for me. I gotta get laundry done and the kids things packed up. My sitter called last night and wants to take the kids for an over night trip to Cleveland and Amish Country. She said they might go today but since we have rain it'll probably be a go for tomorrow. Either way I need to get clothes, PJ's, socks and underwear washed so they have something to wear. LOL
