I have been a horrible Focker , I have been trying to keep up, it has just been so busy lately. I found a lump on the side of Bill's neck and freaked out. My Mom died of cancer so it really shook me up. We went to the doctor last friday, he gave Bill antibiotics and set us up for a surgeon in 2 weeks IF the lump doesn't go away, he says it is a swollen lymph node. It seems a tiny bit smaller, but I am still freaked out about it. I think my heart would stop if anything happened to my Bill .[/FONT]

It's basically a work at your own pace type class and I have about 3 more lessons to do before I'm done with course work. Once that's done I can take the final and basically stop having to go. Math class is this afternoon with a test. YUCK! I think I'm ready for it. I've done enough practice problems that I should do fine on it.

I went to Chi's orientation last night. I absolutely love her teacher this year. She has won many state awards plus she is one of my very best friends. She went over with the parents everything she plans to do this year and I was absolutely blown away.

Omicron's is Thursday but I haven't met his teacher yet.

Not much else going on. Still backlogged at work

Sorry to pop in and then run, but I've got a bunch of stuff to get done and I just HAD to pass this along...

I asked the ex what he wants to do about visitation - I mean he can keep his scheduled school breaks with Leo but will the ex come back to FL to visit (his parents will still be here) or spend a fortune having one or the other of us fly Leo back and forth? The ex has clearly not looked into things at all - he thought we could just have Leo fly alone. Aside from the fact that I'd never allow a 7 year old to travel that far alone (I did plenty of flying alone as a kid - but not at 7!), I just found out that children under age 8 aren't even allowed to take anything other than direct flights. Well, there aren't any direct flights between here and there. The only options are 9+ hour connecting flights. Not gonna happen. Oh, and tickets if he were 8 would run upwards of $600.

So I have no idea what he'll do. You'd think he'd have investigated this stuff before deciding to go. Gah.

Your just getting it as a text msg right? Just add the twitter # (I think its a 4 digit thing) to your phone contacts and then you can reply to any tweets just like a text. BUT when you tweet to a person specifically it's proper tweeting to put the "@" before the name with NO SPACE. everyone can read it but the msg will be for that person, make sense? like this : @jcc0621 HI!. If you need any help lemme know!

We are working on building another website so that is taking up a lot of my time, working on my binder project, crafting projects, banners for Enchanted (have to do more of that today), and stuff for our trip too. So much for the idea of running my errands in the neighborhood. The severe thunderstorm watch saw to that. So I will do some organizing and cleaning up and I'd really like to bake something. I need my baking therapy.

Working tomorrow 10-3 but KC is coming to pick me up. Hopefully all the rain happens today so we can picnic in the park. I can't believe i have been working 4 blocks from central park for a month and haven't been there! I miss it, it's one of the best places in the city! I will def be taking pics!

Never mind. Nothing is changing. Sorry to get you all excited. I was thinking about upgrading to Contemporary Inn. Fuzzy math worked great until I realized I would not get the free dining anymore. Ultimately, I would save $1000 on a deluxe room. However, I would have to spend $700+ more than the moderate booking I have now if I include DDP. I did all the fuzzy math I could. I can't justify no TS meals with it being Rockie's B-day, if we pay OOP, it would be more $$$$$, QS plan only saves me $100 and I'd still want at least 2 nice TS meals. ACK! Oh well.

Tracy I am praying that the lump on Bill's neck is nothing serious.

Can I say that I HATE working with women (No Offense to my Fockers). I just can't deal with the mood swings, pms, and all the carp. I can already tell that we are going to have problems. Thyey are coming to me with the well you know I have kids stories. I had one girl come to me that she has used all her time for the year and she has to take her DS to the doctors and can't understand how we can make her take a day without pay

I give my self 6 months before I either go postal, wind up with an ulcer, or have a nervous breakdown

Any airports the ex can drive to so Leo would have a direct flight? Since you pay extra for an unaccompanied minor, a flight attendant is assigned to be with him. Whomever is picking up Leo would go to the gate, show ID and sign that he was picked up.

When I called to make ADR's or change the reservation, etc. they would ask me what I was celebrating. It was to be for my 30th birthday and for Lindsey's birthday but I also told them I was celebrating my divorce. I would have loved to see that on a pin.

Lindsey got some kind of Barbie book (like the level 1 reading ones or whatever is for kids in K-2nd grade) and sat and read the whole thing out loud by herself. I'm so proud of my baby girl and how well she's doing.

While you were away my children went hunting for insects (I've been corrected by the budding entomologist that only bugs are bugs but all others are insects ) B, the 6 year old, brought home a cricket, named him Bob and is keeping him as a pet. Along with George the wooly-bear catapillar who has passed.

My child needs a pet. I think I'll get him a feeder gold fish.

I did laundry all day. Baked some banana muffins. Paid some bills. Boring.

Tomorrow I'll go to the gym and then maybe clean the house. Friday we're going to the Detroit Science Center with the kids and their friends.

I forgot to mention that KC's parents want to give us their old air conditioner.

The catch? It's HUGE I mean made for a house huge. a billion BTUs or something lol. Giant. I don't want it, although ours is on the way out. He wants it because its free, I don't know where the heck it's gonna fit?!

The other catch....and the shocking thing... they wanna bring it over for us. Last time we wanted furniture from them they made us pay for the friggin uhaul! BUT that means they wanna come over.

They have never been to our house when it was our house. I had the apt for a year before KC moved in, his mom visited ONCE for about 15 minutes.

Needless to say I am FREAKING out. Fri will be spent cleaning like a mad woman and ordering KC to do the same. They will prob stay for 10 minutes but darnit my house will be spotless.
