Sorry Janet.

Thanks Mel!

It's hard to be dedicated!

::yes:: We were walking nightly, but then we had 22 days of rain. When the rains finally stopped we were involved in so many things that we haven't started back up yet.:sad2:

Not Bob will be in Japan for about 11 days. Short, compared to the last two trips.....:guilty:

:hug:

I baked two batches of banana muffins, a batch of blueberry/raspberry, a double batch of applesauce muffins and then made the kid's dinner.

Breakfast at Mel's tomorrow everybody:goodvibes

Ick is right!:scared:

Just a quickie update. I spoke to one of the managers and I think I am good to stay where I am, provided I don't feel like it's exerting me too much. Here's hopin.

Good luck Kat. We need to chat about the 25th. Where to meet, what time, etc? Have you heard back from Mo yet? If not I will give her a call this weekend?

Went to my grandma's for dinner tonight. So nice not having to cook for a change. LOL School again in the AM and PM so I probably won't be on much. Hope y'all have a good night and good day tomorrow. :grouphug:

That's the nice thing about Jim being home all day. He has been cooking dinner every night:thumbsup2

If you're interested go to itunes, search Disney Brit podcast, it's episode 19 and we're on from about 45 minutes in, I sound quite common :rotfl:

If you don't want to listen to it all just go to 1.28 as I'm sure you'll agree :rotfl:

Will listen to it tonight!:thumbsup2

Hi Sam :wave2:

==========================

I think things here are finally getting organized. Everyone has a computer that works now! I only have 8 people without phones and they are waiting for Verizon to assigne them numbers. My life may actually get back to normal:yay:

Jimmy has a doctor's appointment at 1:00, so Jim took him to that and then they were going to stop at the library. Don't know what we are doing for dinner. May just throuw some dogs on the grill.

Hope everyone is having a good day:goodvibes

I know - I need to think about that. I wanted to grill last night, because it was easy, but after we sat down to eat, we realized that Buzz had hamburgers for dinner 4 nights in a row, Woody 3. :sad2: I am really trying to limit my own red meat intake, but I didn't have burgers all those nights. The kids had them at the 4th cookout (well, Woody had a dog then), and Sunday and Monday at the restaurant on the lake, then last night. :sad2: I had a chicken sausage on the 4th and turkey at the lake Sunday, I didn't go to the lake Monday and ate veggie at home when they were gone, so it just didn't occur to me. :rotfl:

I think we're all having chicken or tuna tonight. :rotfl2:

**********
I really need to go shower. :rolleyes1 ;)

I think I made a huge error. :lmao: I got up, made the kids their breakfast and then did some Wii Active. I can already feel it in my butt, and I agreed last night to sub into a tennis class today.

I did a zumba class and a tennis class once accidentally on the same day and that night when I went to sit down on the potty my hamstrings gave out and I FELL onto the potty! :rotfl:

My DH is like, what happened, did you fall in? And I'm like I DID! I literally needed to pop my butt out of the seat.

Now I'm very careful not to mix Zumba classes with anything else. :banana:

ETA: Hey look, I just lost my signature because a mod said I couldn't write the word, uh, well, I got punished for writing it on another thread so I can't write it here, but it wasn't a swear word or a religious word. It's the second infraction in a month, for things I think are really petty or esoteric or selectively enforced. I'm kinda starting to feel like I'm not wanted on the dis...

Our TFW friend Jen2 had this happen a couple of times. I think you just have to be really careful. Yet another reason why I stick pretty much to here and the TRs of the people I "know"... ;) Because, see, I can tend to use language sometimes that is not "family friendly" but I'm not tempted by the threads I visit. ;)

Ok, I had quote issues too today so I will just say good afternoon everyone.

Rosie, I hope everything went well today :grouphug:.

V I hope things get better soon :hug:. It is horrible that your ex isn't paying the child support.

With all the troubles with your friends and the money issues, maybe you should just hold off on that until your friends are in a more stable situation :confused3? That sounds like it would be stressful if you stayed there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We went to Staples last night and got more ink for the computer. We have 118 days until our next WDW trip. When we got home I printed off mousekeeping envelopes, dining tip envelopes for the ADR's I KNOW I will get (the power of positive thinking you know :thumbsup2), letters about the restaurants to place in the kids room so they know where we will eat on each day. I also printed off maps of the parks so Christian can look at it. I am not done making stuff.
I almost bought a binder there, but didn't like the price. I have never been a "binder" person, but with the kids coming and it being "a first trip" for them, I want to be organized. We went to our local Dollar Tree, the binders they had were soft sided so I didn't get them, but they had page protectors, there $1 for 16 protectors, Staples 10 for $4.99. I got 2. They also had tab dividers 5 for $1 and at Staples they were $5.49. Needless to say I bought the stuff at the Dollar Tree. I also picked up a coloring book and a couple of other things for the kdis.
Then went to Walmart and found a binder for $2.50 where it would have been $4.99 at Staples, I was so happy I bought it. I have already decorated the front of it, placed all the printed letters in it, labeled my tabs and am finishing up my envelopes.
What is wrong with me? I am doing this way too early aren't I?
Yeah, see, this will be me. :rotfl:
I think what I'm stumbling with is that the rules are not enforced consistently, and I see other people doing and saying the exact same things I do, and then I'm punished for them. :confused3
It's also a case of the Dis having more and more rules piled on, it's becoming more difficult to abide by so many of them, and the arbitrary application of said rules.
*sigh*
I just had a headhunter email me about a writing position, I think I need to take it as a sign that those two things happening within an hour of each other means I need to curtail the Disboards seriously, and focus on writing that actually pays me.
I'll stick around TFW, but I think y'all are right, just avoid the board at large from now on...:thumbsup2
Hi Fockers,
V - so sorry, your vacation will be well deserved
Mel - the muffins sound yummy, feel free to ship some to Jersey:thumbsup2
Does NotBob get to go to Tokyo Disney? Do you ever get to go with him.
CE- my muscles hurt just reading that
Rosie - good luck
Kat and Janet - I have been trying to get a sitter and it's not looking good, AC is too far for just the day, I would need to stay over. I looked to see if any pet friendly places and the one I found wants close to $300 with tax and pet fees.
So I am multi tasking, I have 2 laptops at work and a monitor. On one laptop I am running a query, on the laptop that also has the monitor, I am posting here on the monitor and have webinar for recertification credit on the laptop itself. The webinar is boring so I thought I would check in with my favorite imaginery friends.;)
Mind if I vent?
:sad2: It's been one of those months I guess - smallish things just keep getting heaped on the pile and the pile is now threatening to topple.
You're not the only one. :hug: :hug: We had to buy a dryer Tuesday (remember we just bought a used washer about a month ago), we just had to spend $300+ to fix our riding mower, we have a leak in the roof, etc etc etc. :sad2:
:idea: V, let's meet in GA at LL's! I'll bring the tequila!!
I'm always here with an ear if you need it. I do still have your cell # - I can text you or something if you need mine. :goodvibes
Thanks hun. :hug: I'm okay, really - I needed to just vent and I'm totally a writer; I can never talk much about myself on the phone strangely enough
I think I made a huge error. :lmao: I got up, made the kids their breakfast and then did some Wii Active. I can already feel it in my butt, and I agreed last night to sub into a tennis class today.
:scared1: I'd be dead. But you're already in better shape than I was when I got Active, so fingers crossed for you today!
I did a zumba class and a tennis class once accidentally on the same day and that night when I went to sit down on the potty my hamstrings gave out and I FELL onto the potty! :rotfl:
:rotfl2: I had that happen too! Not the Zumba part, but the potty part.
I may well skip that part of the trip, but I'm also visiting family, and Leo hasn't seen some of them ever, so canceling's not an option. Fortunately the only expense is the car rental, so it'll work out. I'm just sick of dealing with it all.
I just had a headhunter email me about a writing position,
Okay, I need tips on how to make that happen! :thumbsup2
The webinar is boring so I thought I would check in with my favorite imaginery friends.;)
:rotfl: Nice Fuzzy Multi-tasking Mo!
UGH! :hug::hug::hug: WHy does stuff always seem to come at once?
:idea: V, let's meet in GA at LL's! I'll bring the tequila!!
OMG how much fun would that be?! :banana:
Oops, thought I quoted V, but I totally understand, just know I'm here if you need. ;)
And, I'm scared. :eek: :rotfl:
***************************************************
Yeah, I took a shower, and just standing up I can feel muscles quivering. This class is going to be bad. :rotfl: I thought I was in good shape - and truly, I wasn't breathing that hard in general, but the jumping lunges and so forth aren't something I've been working on lately. :scared1:
Mind if I vent?
I'm sorry V :hug:
I doubt it, but I'll go get it. ;)
You will, they asked me what was my favourite WDW ride :rotfl2:
(I did the first day of the 30 day challenge at medium, and then the sports day workout - easy.) It felt like a lot of squats and jumping, which was interesting. :rolleyes: :rotfl:
So do you like it? Do you think you'll keep doing it?
hi! :wave2: Im still alive!
Hi Sam, good luck with the move and your tests :hug:
Will listen to it tonight!:thumbsup2
Thanks :goodvibes
I see you can't be PMed either, be careful :hug:
dining tip envelopes for the ADR's I KNOW I will get (the power of positive thinking you know :thumbsup2)
Did you know that online ADR's open at 6am EST :thumbsup2
I listened to the podcast and I went wrong at one point so started again thinking they'd dit it out, errr nope my mistake is in there :rotfl2:
Ellie had a sponsored walk today, they're collecting for a new school building that is being built. Well Ellie leaves this school in just over a week and will never use this building yet all they do is ask us for money towards it, I'm starting to get grumpy :rotfl2: It was then her open day where we can look at her work etc so we did a quick scan through and left to go home earlier than normal :rotfl2: They've now gone to a hawaiian party at Guides as it's the last one this term!
Quick question, if you had to give some money to a charity (give kids the world in Orlando) roughly how much would you give? I was thinking about $10-15 but someone else said $100 :eek:
Can I come too;)
Sorry about the dryer:hug:
I would give whatever I could. $10-$15 sounds reasonable to me!:thumbsup2
What kinds of books do you like?
I answered your Host one here (I think).
I really like a lot of genre's. Some of my favorite books are Davinci Code & Lovely Bones. To be honest, I really never thought I'd like a story line about vampires. :confused3 Not what I'd classify as me. BUT, I really was drawn in by her characters. She made me fall in love with them and it was over for me. :rotfl:
Yep, so I think you'd like the one I am reading now. It's actually the second in a series, apparently, but I don't feel like I'm missing much by jumping in on the 2nd. It's Missing Mark by Julie Kramer, her earlier one was Stalking Susan. Maybe hit the library for the first? This one isn't officially released until a week from today.
How are you getting books before they are released? I think I missed that bit of info about you.
V- :hug: I think you need a gramma vacation! I hope your trip to Buffalo all works out. Are the tickets already purchased?
Jo- I know it is hard to fundraise for something that doesn't directly effect you. The only thing I can add is that you are "paying it forward". :)
Everyone- Thanks for the book suggestions. I bought the first Sookie book and plan on trying to get into it today. We've been to a movie and swimming lessons. I was up very late last night making dinner for our friend Steve, who lost his wife Christmas eve. My DH is bringing it over today and needed it ready to go when he left this AM, for work. Now I'm tired and am ready for a nap. Back later to catch back up.
Afternoon all !! Everything went well!! The surgeon as late but not to bad!! The shot to numb me is wearing off and I am feeling little twinges but nothing bad !!:thumbsup2 During th surgery the surgeon heard a noise and asked what it was !! The Tech told him it was the BP Machine ..BUT I think it was the fire alert as they had a fire drill while I was on the table !! :scared1: Thank Goodness they didn't wheel me out :worship: That would have been a tale to tell:lmao:
So I will be fine for work tomorrow I am sure !!:banana: I plan on a Dis and Disney night and any atempts to have me do anything will b met with a painful look ... Gotta get some advantage outta having your "****ie " sliced !!!!:rotfl: I see the surgeon next Thursday for th path results so keep the prayers coming for GOOD news !!!:worship:
