Mines does that all of the time with his darn phone alarm clock. @@#!#@#$@ I feel for you. Glad to hear that you are feeling good!

The local police car drove throughout the neighborhood and we all laughed, wondering if they would stop and bust up our WT party. They did stop, but to call the kids over for stickers. We all got a good laugh.
Sounds like a Lovely Evening!
Yea, that is one of my pet peeves with DH. He sets his alarm clock and it will go off and he doesn't move. He is def in one ear and if he is lying on his good ear he literally can't hear anything. Then when I wake him up he says, oh I heard it I just rolled over so I could sleep a few more minutes. Which irritates the heck out of me because I can't roll over and void all noise!!

Morning All!! This is Day 1 of my 3 days OFF!! :cool1:
Enjoy your other two days off Rosie

We've had them 3 years :rotfl2: How long do they live? I'm hoping 3 years :rotfl:
All the rabbit stories reminds me of this man who worked for my dad. His name was Wonnie. (Like Ronnie but with a "W"). He raised rabbits. Except my dad refused to pronounce his "R"s around Wonnie. So he would say "Wonnie, those a mighty fine wooking wabbits. You weady to get to wok."

It was embawwasing to say the least.

 We love you. Don't you worry! :goodvibes
Thanks Dawn!

That makes sense. I guess I CAN believe that blogs came into the hearing, but it's hard to think about.

I know sometimes "we" don't always post when we view, but when you look at this thread and see thousands more "views" than "posts" - I can be more open on FB, where I "know" who is looking. ;)
Oh my! I have never actually looked at the number of views! Does anyone know if it counts each person everytime they open TFW thread or is it a count of unique IPL addresses?

yes, blogs came into the court. I've never kept a blog but my X and his XGF did :rolleyes1 Maybe one day I can explain it all in more detail. The judge wasn't happy about them especially the fact that my ex was posting pics of the kids and also his hometown which was very small. One of the pics Chi was all dolled up and looked like Jon Bonet.

Here is Jimmy's baseball picture:
Cute!

Jo I forgot to mention about the blocking...:lmao: I'm sureyou can guess:rotfl2:
Was it Michelle Obama? I heard she's become a snob since her hubby made pressy. ;)

My tummy is still feeling good. I am so relieved. :worship: Having stomach flu is the WORST!!!

What is everyone planning for Father's Day? We got cards, are taking NotBob out for breakfast and then he had requested some stuff at the nursery for his garden so we'll go get that.
Oh, and I plan on making a nice roasted chicken dinner that night too.
Glad you are felling better. Mel, is Bob and NotBob the same person or do you have two husbands? Maybe just two personalities?

Zeta made breakfast this morning for the boys and let me sleep in. I think this is the first Saturday that he was up before me since we've been married. My friend came through with the AC and it is now only 83 degrees in my living room.

I am watching Dumbo with Tau while our guests are playing the Wii.

I forgot to tell you last night what I saw at the grocery store. Please remember this is in rural alabama. I do not live in a big city at all. I saw a man with no shirt. About a dozen tatoos. With a nipple ring. And his keys were hanging from his nipple ring. It was a huge fat ring with several keys on it. It was enough weight that it was pulling his skin. Yuk! I was so disgusted and I consider myself a pretty open-minded person. I asked an employee if they had a no shirt no service policy because it was just too much for me to handle. But alas, he left so I did manage to finish my shopping.

And the house next door I think is being foreclosed on. We haven't seen our neighbors in months. The yard looks awful and my husband said there is a lock on the electric meter box.

Other than that not much going on. Trying to do laundry but also trying to not get too hot.

Oh my, oh my, OH MY! :scared1: NOW THAT would have scared the pants off of me! YUCKY!

Janet- Jimmy's ball picture is super cute! Who on earth should block my sweet Janet? You are really the kindest woman!

Mel- Great to hear that the tummy is still good! :thumbsup2 Where are you guys heading for breakfast? How long has the other teen been there?

V, Rosie, T, Lori, CE and everyone else- Hope your having a great day!
---------------------------------------
DS had a ball game first thing this am. Apparently he decided today that he was as lethargic as a head of leaf lettuce. He had has a foot issue and can't run right now... but there is nothing wrong with his body or arm! He just laid in out field. :sad2::headache: I kept having to yell, "FOCUS! GET UP! GEt READY FOR THE BALL!" oui, oui, oui...

DH, being the "smart" man that he is, didn't reserve a camping spot for them tonight.

There all sold out.

Go Figure.

The kids are terribly disappointed and have to camp in our yard. There goes having the house to myself. Hopefully DH will learn and next time reserve a spot.

You crack me up:lmao:

Getting there! It only topped out at 71 here today and it has been raining all day:sad2:

I am watching Dumbo with Tau

THis is one of Jimmy's favorites!:thumbsup2

======================================

Back from dinner. We went early to avoud some of the Saturday night crowd. We went to a place called H.I. Rib Company. A little expensive for the 3 of us...with tip $75. Neither one of us had a drink either. But what the heck..you only turn 42once, right.

Now we are just hanging out. It is miserable out so we can't go out and play (this Faye type torrential downpours:sad2:) We were thinking of going to a movie, but there isn't really anything we want to see. Then we were thinking bowling, but we figured that would be crowded because of the weather. So...I don't know what we are going to do. To borrow CE's word - Gah!

What a stinky day out. It has killed my motivation to do anything! KC is still getting over his lack of sleep from the other day and is passed out right now. I think tomorrow will be when we get things done or we will end up all motivated at like 10pm or some ungodly time. AT least KC is off tomorrow.

No plans for Fathers day for us. KC will call his dad , thats about it.

Happy saturday and someone send pixie dust tog et rid of this stinkin rain!

Janet- Jimmy's ball picture is super cute! Who on earth should block my sweet Janet? You are really the kindest woman!

Thanks Jen:hug:

Just wasn't into it today huh? Our field was under water so we couldn't play the last game. Next week was scheduled for make up but so many people are going on vacation next week that both teams just decided to skip it!

DH, being the "smart" man that he is, didn't reserve a camping spot for them tonight.

Do I detect a note of sarcasm;)

There goes having the house to myself. Hopefully DH will learn and next time reserve a spot.

I was thinking about ditching the boys and going to the movies to see the Proposal. Stil haven't decided yet. May see if my friend Denise wants to go.

What a stinky day out.

It's awful isn't it!

Hi Fockers!

Just checking in and did a quick skim!

Loved all the wedding pics.

Kat: I think I would've been secretly excited too about working at the Disney store.

Janet: I love Jimmy's pic, it looks like a baseball card. :goodvibes

Anyhoo, I know there's more and I promise I did read most of it.

A few days ago I got my first Disney pin!!! Don't know what to do with it yet. Still thinking of doing a weekend in August before the AP expires (and possible meet with Janet, unless she's changed her dates) or a trip with my mom and maybe Yani for Food and Wine Fest or Family December trip. What to do.... :scratchin

Nothing much from me, just working and working out and trying to keep up with things.

TTYL!!! :flower3:

My dates are the 9th to the 16th (16th-18th at Universal). NOt that I'm enabling or anything:rolleyes1

Last Tball game cancelled due to the rain...yes again. Hey CE, want to go in halfsies on an ark

Sure. It actually hasn't yet rained here today, but it's coming. :headache:

exciting birthday eh?:lmao:

I hope you can at least sleep in! :)

Here is Jimmy's baseball picture:

Very nice!

CE: Sounds like a good plan for FD. I used to do the little chairs/coffee table thing too! Of course, now my boys are foot 1 and 6 foot 3 so.....

;) I really have no idea what we'll truly do during the day tomorrow, but hopefully we can meet up with our friends.

I think that too sometimes but then think people would be so bored reading it they'd soon go away :rotfl2:

I think of that, too.

Wooohooo I've been waiting for my DDD for the September trip and just looked and I missed it :rotfl2:

Disney Dining Day? Drop dead date? :)

It was embawwasing to say the least.

But funny!

Oh my! I have never actually looked at the number of views! Does anyone know if it counts each person everytime they open TFW thread or is it a count of unique IPL addresses?

I think it's every time it's opened. I truly feel like Jo does - don't know why you'd read along if you didn't join in, but there is a reason I don't use real names or my town. ;) And I would probably do that if my name wasn't such an issue - D's and the kids are not too uncommon.

My friend came through with the AC and it is now only 83 degrees in my living room.

Well, it's better...

And his keys were hanging from his nipple ring. It was a huge fat ring with several keys on it. It was enough weight that it was pulling his skin.

Oh, gross. And yes, I'm very open-minded, but still...

DH, being the "smart" man that he is, didn't reserve a camping spot for them tonight.

Uh, oh.

So...I don't know what we are going to do. To borrow CE's word - Gah!

Glad it's catching on, but sorry for the reason.

Happy saturday and someone send pixie dust tog et rid of this stinkin rain!

We'll exchange the dust, we need it, too!

Nothing much from me, just working and working out and trying to keep up with things.

TTYL!!! :flower3:

Hi, Z!

*************************************************
Every time I've tried to post my own update today, the boards won't respond. :confused3

We spent all afternoon at our babysitter's graduation party. Thankfully, she'll be around this summer (last year she did smart-girl camp all summer. :rotfl:)

But I'm proud of her (she was salutatorian) and sad for us - she's been really our only sitter since the boys were born. :sad1:

Then, I left the boys and man at the party and went out to get the Father's Day present, and return a Red Box movie. The Red Box box wasn't working - rather than "grabbing" the movie, the movie just clunked down into the bottom - and so I had to call to be sure they would mark it as "returned" so we wouldn't get charged more.

Now we're watching Star Wars (Episode 4) and D's asleep on the couch already. :rotfl:

I do adore Leia's spunk.

Hope you all have a great night! I may or may not be back - if D stays sleepy, I'll be around. ;)

SOyou're watching the original Star Wars!:rolleyes1

Oh, no - you don't like it either, do you? :lmao:

Yes. I've only seen about the last half hour of Ep. 3, but we own the original trilogy and have seen 1 & 2. The boys love them - now. Ep. 5 was a little too scary when they were 5. We are stellar parents. :rotfl2:

But based on what I've seen, I did nix Ep. 3 for them. In a few years, maybe. I consider it a bit of POTY redemption. :rotfl:

The orignals are so much better IMHO! Jimmy has seen 1 (4:rolleyes:) and is now really into Star Wars.

We are now bathed and watching the Great muse Detective. With any luck Jimmy will fall asleep before it is over!:thumbsup2

No, I totally agree. We started the boys as we saw them, but try explaining that... ;) "No, these were first. But they come later in the overall story. But they're way better." And, as I said, we've not let them see Ep. 3, because the end - which is ALL that I've seen - is really gross.

:rotfl:

I've not seen the Great Mouse Detective in a very, very long time. Have fun! :goodvibes

DH, being the "smart" man that he is, didn't reserve a camping spot for them tonight.
Oh no! :headache:
Oh and I turned on my siggies for the weekend!
I'm sure it was embarassing but :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
Um yea, my dad was a very funny man yet so unappropriated.

Glad you had a good Birthday dinner. And

Happy Birthday:hug:

What a stinky day out.
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

I was thinking about ditching the boys and going to the movies to see the Proposal. Stil haven't decided yet. May see if my friend Denise wants to go.
We may go to the movies tomorrow - just the two of us

Hi Fockers!
Hi Z! Hope you get several more uses of your AP!

I think it's every time it's opened. I truly feel like Jo does - don't know why you'd read along if you didn't join in, but there is a reason I don't use real names or my town. ;) And I would probably do that if my name wasn't such an issue - D's and the kids are not too uncommon.
Are you serious? People take the time to read and keep up but don't comment? I just don't understand.

Oh and I think I need to clarify about what I meant when I said I wish I could be more open. I know i have only been here a relatively short time but I already feel I know you all so well that I could share anything with you. What I meant was I'm afraid of other people reading stuff I may write.

Just in case I don't make it back....
hi T!

The house is at 76!!!

I asked DH what he wanted to do for FD. Seeing how I haven't purchased anything for him:rolleyes1 we decided to go shopping after church tomorrow for something then I come home and wrap it so that Alpha and Delta can give it to him when they come back.

Me neither! We're nice - if they're reading, they should jump in! ;)

That's how I took it in the first place.

Hooray!

we decided to go shopping after church tomorrow for something then I come home and wrap it so that Alpha and Delta can give it to him when they come back.

Sounds like a plan to me! :thumbsup2

Sorry, thought I hit the button before... ;)

We saw the 1 in the theater when it came out, but have only seen bits and pieces of the the other 2.

Same here - except that we did finally watch all of Ep. 2 DVRed or On Demand or something. :confused3

I'm sitting here watching and I don't remember ever seeing it:confused3

It's a mousy Sherlock Holmes, right? But I don't remember the plot.

The family is OUTSIDE! I have the whole house to myself. What should I do?

I know, I know... DIS! :) Really I need to get my desserts ready for tomorrow.

Oh NO! I hear them back inside. I wrote too soon. :headache:

Debra- Good to hear that your temperature is falling inside the house!

CE & Janet- I know no difference between Star Wars 1-10:confused3:rotfl: I inly have watched the one with Princess Laia. I even sported the wrapped braids when I was younger. Seriously! :scared:

DS is now a big fan. I think that all of our boys in that age range, probably are.

Janet- DId you go see the movie? I really want to see it!

BTW- I rented a girl flick for myself. I forgot which one already, though. silly me.
