I was going through my schedule and with school and other activities, I don't work a full week until the 3rd week in June, and then only for a week becasue mom & dad are coming home the end of June. Guess that will teach them to transfer me

It has been a tough week at work and I am soooo ready for this TRIP !!! I got money out today from the bank and had various bills so I will have tip money easily ready !! Had my teeth cleaned today so now I have a new hairdo and sparkly teeth !!! Maybe I will meet Mr Disney!!!

Just found out KC is working late, so I get stuck home alone longer. BLAH. I'm bored as it is.

Craptastic! While I was out enjoying my margarita and enchiladas, I got a call that the buyers want to close on Friday after all. Now I have to be ready to move in the morning! I don't know when I'll get to post or check in. I will be at my MIL's Thursday night and possibly until Monday. If the buyer's can close early enough on Friday, I can buy my new house. Otherwise, I can't until Monday am.

Just been to the Guide camp meeting and OMG they're so old fashioned. Our Guides have teamed up with another Guide unit and our leaders are cool young Mums whereas there's You should have seen some of the stuff. They want to get the girls to make a sitter by weaving folded newspaper and putting it into a plastic bag, ours said buy a seat pad or garden kneeler They then showed us how to do a bedding roll then said that for 4 days there will be no showers, which when you have pre-teen and teenage girls at certain times of the month going without a shower is Our leaders said they would somehow find some Anyway it means I get rid of the girls for 4 days so

Glad the girls will be getting away for a few days and to the other leaders.

Yea it was FUNNY! KC was watching too, I tell ya it's a car wreck I can't stop looking at!

It's like the whole Jon & Kate + 8 thing. That is a train wreak and I can't stop looking and reading abut it.

I get that! I am planning a trip I haven't actually booked yet! (see TR link in siggie) so I really am having withdrawal!

The boys had fun at tennis and I had a nice workout, plus my esthetician was able to squeeze in my eyebrow wax that I had to cancel yesterday because of going to the boat.

Now they're playing the Wii for a bit before shower and bedtime. I've had a lazy day, but it was nice!

I ended up taking Evan shopping for some "cool, rock star" clothes this afternoon. He claims I buy him baby dork clothes and he refuses to wear just about everything in his drawers. I let him pick out his own stuff and he is so proud of himself and his new cool dude duds. Who knew this crap starts with boys, too? Yes, he's only 4 freakin' years old.

DR is 4 and I'm glad we haven't gotten to this stage yet. I don't know if we'll ever get to this stage though since he seems pretty happy and content with what I pick out for him. He is learning to match his shoes to his outfit though.

Funny thing---last nite at her lesson, the Tae Kwon Doe (??) instructor asked me and another mom if we would like to "stretch".......we said sure, why not? We're just sitting on bleachers.....with our rears ever expanding!
So, we S-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d.........I'm in jean capris BTW and was very fearful of hearing R-i-p! Granted I've lost 5 # with WW recently but still a few more to go before I can bend over in pants, KWIM???

So after 20 minutes of stretching.......and kids laughing.......he said "join in"....so we began kicking.......and punching!

It is a big difference though when you realize that 12 miles East of davis, in Sacramento (obviously a bigger town) you can get a nice big apartment for $500 and in davis they are about 40 years old and trashed due to college kids.

Good thing your starting now. My dear friend brad (the current groom getting married soon ) i dont think he learned to put outfits together himself until highschool. When we showed up for school pictures before sophmore year of highschool he walked up to the rest of us and all girls say the same thing. " what are you wearing?!" he replies with "my mom said i matched" He was wearing a pair of white and blue hawaiianish printed shorts with a bright blue hawaiian printed shirt. Poor guy was embarassed and went home and told his mom, who then looked at him and said, ya you dont match. She had been busy and was just ya ya whatever go awayish when he had asked her.

I think my test went even better than last time. I definitely know that my studying earlier helped a lot because some of the questions were right off of the study guide.

Now to start studying for the next set. 1 down 2 to go!

It may sound morbid but i wish i could prepare another rat tomorrow in lab. It was actually kind of fun. I love doing things with my hands and making stuff. I sew, crochet, bead, crossstitch, stamp and scrapbook, quilt, cook. You name it I do it. Im just not to into the artsy drawing and painting. maybe skinning animals is my way to go! i get to sew, stuff with cotton, deal with wire and play with animals all at the same time.

BTW Sunny is doing good. I think things will turn out ok in the end. It may just be stressful for right now. I think our no whining lesson earlier today did a lot of good.

this weekend were going to a paintball game. My parents run an air and CO2 business at the same time as my family (dad, marc, uncle, cousin, family friends) play scenario paintball. Since my mom is usually left running the booth while my dad plays or schmoozes, im going to help out. Its nearbyish about 1 1/2 hours away, so well take the dog and go. Unfortunately this game always lands on the same weekend every year, and every year for the past 4 years i have gotten eaten alive by mosquitoes and passed out cold after having to take an excess amount of benadryl to breath. I told my mom she gets to supply me with a gallon of bug spray and the claritin and then ill help.

update:

my sleeping late roommate came home while i was cooking and asked if he could vent to me. Sure i said, but i didnt know id be attacked. He told me about the dog getting tangled up in the backyard in the trees and that a police officer had come in and was trying to take her to the pound. Fine, if they had taken her i would have just gone and gotten her. But the roommate was mad because the other day he told me she had gotten tangled and he assumed i wouldnt do it again. Duh a puppy will get tangled! That wasnt going to stop me. She had a large bucket of water, food, her bed, and toys. I even blocked one of the trees so she couldnt go around it. He told me she was so tangled she couldnt stand up. and she was starving.... yeah right! And she had plenty of water. i doubt she was so tangled she couldnt stand, but if so i would have been home soon. He continued to tell me he wasnt upset about being woken up (even though he started out with how annoyed he was about it) but he was upset that sunny was being treated so poorly! So now im starving the dog, and mistreating her. At that point all i wanted to do was slap him. how dare he accuse me of treating an animal poorly! Whos the one whos raised animals all her life, and is the pre-vet person? I think i know animals limitations. As soon as i found out she was having trouble i came straight home and cared for her all day. not like he knew that because he was asleep all F****** day!

soo mad! I cant even eat or study right now.

its ok you guys can tell me the truth...Do you think i was wrong and was treating her badly? She was only kept outside on monday and tuesday and then i was with her today. Was i mistreating her for 2 days?

To answer your question, we are taking a mini-vacation since my DH is off work for 2 weeks at that time. I didn’t want to take my WDW stuff and I have a pre-pay phone that I never put more than an hour’s worth of talk on. Yes, I’m cheap. It all doesn’t matter anyway. I miscalculated by a day. I can make them the morning that we leave.

DAWN was told she looks for ‘fun’ Disney stuff everyday. They are still in the old house. She got a call and they are going to have to be out today.

JO said something about blowing a hoolie. I think she was talking about the wind. She won some gift certificates at the club. She told them her stuff had to be awarded first ‘cause she had better things to do. And that part got announced to the rest of the club members. She is ready for Ell’s party. Sounds like the girls are going to boot camp instead of summer camp.

MO is ready for DL. Her doc gave her the thumbs up and lots of drugs.

JANET is being moved to letting people out of jail. She doesn’t know when though. I bet you will be like by the parolees better on that side of it. Even if you won’t have to deal with them directly.

It was a carpolicious day yesterday. Rain. It's storming outside right now.

I had lunch with my Brother and his GF. I haven't seen her for 25 years. His divorce was finalized a couple of days ago. He refinanced his house which he is selling in August. I think he is basically living with the GF. Nothing to dish about. I knew her and her brother when we were kids. She's OK. She seemed a little nervous. I treat people the way they treat me. She'll be fine. I even gave her a hug when we said good bye. I think she about pooped herself. As long as they are happy, that is all that matters.

The Ex-SIL is trying to keep herself occupied. She having a rough time still. I told her is the beginning that my bro wouldn't be home alone for long. I can't help but think she will regret this move.

I got the grocery shopping done before I met up with my bro. I looked like a drowned rat. Dang rain! When I got home I cleaned and did laundry. What else can you do on a rainy day. I still need to mop the kitchen. But never fear, it is supposed to rain tomorrow too!! I can work on the man cave too.

Did anyone watch part 1 of the HWs of NYC reunion? I haven't laughed so hard in all my life. Romona is seriously demented. I love Bethany to pieces. She is so funny. I get her. I don't get Kelly. Major air in there. I can't wait until part 2 tonight. Don't call me, I won't answer. I hope they put a tub of mud in front of them.

Dawn: When we went in late January this year to see Mel it was wonderful. At least early in the morning and afternoon. MK was practically empty, Epcot was practically empty, and DHS wasn't too bad (but Mel may tell you otherwise). But last year was crap in January, everything V said. Brazilians everywhere The POTC queue was completely full! It was the only time I've seen it like that. Craziness.

T: Glad you went and worked out! Keep it up! I felt the same way today, but I dragged myself to the gym too and felt good once I got there too. I watched Oprah while walking/running.

Sam: on the puppy thing. I don't know much about dogs, but I do know they can get tangled up in leashes pretty easy and eventually they can choke themselves or tangle themselves up so much they can't move. I don't know if they make special leashes nowadays that prevent this though. Good luck on the test! Thank you on the Avatar compliment.

D & I had to drop the van off Tuesday - that stupid "evaporation system" code keeps popping up - and when they called late yesterday afternoon, they sadly can't really tell what the issue is, and were waiting to hear from a dealership about what part they might need. Since D's gone all week and I have his car, I could not care less about when it's done. But I have a feeling it won't be the "cheap, easy fix" they anticipated.

I don't really have any advice because I think most dogs are perfectly fine outside and its not going to kill her being out there, especially if she has food and water. But I guess if she is getting tangeled and can't get to it it kind of defeats the purpose? I'm asuming there must be some kind of shade around she can get to if she is getting tangled up in stuff.

I soooo understand where you're at right now. But, please don't quit. Stay on him, keep filing contempt, etc. I went through nearly the same thing; my ex just stopped paying for about 2 years and claimed he "couldn't" get hired. Just when it seemed like nothing was ever going to happen to that idiot, he got nailed: the state quietly explained that he was either going to jail or he was going to pay his child support. He's still not working (though he claims to be self-employed), but those checks are coming in regularly now. I'm under no illusions; I'm sure we'll revisit this process again before Leo turns 18. But it's worth hanging in and making him be responsible!

I just saw on FB that a friend lost his wife to cancer. He and I haven't spoken since HS and I didn't know her, but for some reason it really makes me sad.

On a lighter note, there were ducks in the pool this morning. They have only been there once before but I find watching them so relaxing. Just gliding along the water, moving their feet in the most efficient manor. Photos were taking from inside so the quality isn't the best.

My Nanny is in hospital, she collapsed last night and her blood pressure was really low. I chatted on the phone with her yesterday for ages and to start with she was really down but then cheered up which was great. Thing is she's 89 and always been very healthy she now has a few problems and has had enough, she's ready to die

Brighter news though I got a parcel from Kay the Disney Grandmom on the panel, she is so sweet, sent a letter about how great we all are and what good friendships we've made, she also sent a couple of bookmarks from her ABD Italy trip, a luggage tag that she had made with a cross stitched Mickey on, a CD she had made with all nice Disney songs and some Mickey M&M's which Ellie is going to love for her party. She's so generous!

Also remember the man who David thought I was having an affair with ages ago? Well he's coming round this afternoon to plan his ADR's, don't worry he's bringing his kids

I don't mind at all. He wrote "Debra has expressed her desire to leave the company in 4 years" This goes back to a couple months ago when I told him that we had a 5 year get out of debt plan and that as soon as the house was paid for I would be quitting. Since we were 1 year into our plan I had 4 years left. I was joking. He told me that if I was serious I needed to put it in a memo and I said no I was kidding. This is a very laid back office where we joke around all the time. He knew I was kidding. He was just being a you know what hole. But that form went into my employee file.

What a crazy mess this has been.

I e-mailed my attorney regarding my ex and child support. I'm hoping I can file a contempt in court to get him to pay but really if he has no job what good is it going to do? I'm just so sick of this crap.

I just saw on FB that a friend lost his wife to cancer. He and I haven't spoken since HS and I didn't know her, but for some reason it really makes me sad.

That is how I felt when my friend's husband died last week.

Good Morning everyone!

Another busy day today.... does it ever end?

Have to get both kids to school, then to the gym, run back home for a shower, head to Maddie's school for reading, and then run to pick up Evan from school by 12pm.

Tonight I've got a boring Girl Scout leader meeting, so not looking forward to that.... I need to be home in time to watch the seaon finale of Grey's!

Brighter news though I got a parcel from Kay the Disney Grandmom on the panel, she is so sweet, sent a letter about how great we all are and what good friendships we've made, she also sent a couple of bookmarks from her ABD Italy trip, a luggage tag that she had made with a cross stitched Mickey on, a CD she had made with all nice Disney songs and some Mickey M&M's which Ellie is going to love for her party. She's so generous!
