 I soooo understand where you're at right now. But, please don't quit. Stay on him, keep filing contempt, etc. I went through nearly the same thing; my ex just stopped paying for about 2 years and claimed he "couldn't" get hired. Just when it seemed like nothing was ever going to happen to that idiot, he got nailed: the state quietly explained that he was either going to jail or he was going to pay his child support. He's still not working (though he claims to be self-employed), but those checks are coming in regularly now. I'm under no illusions; I'm sure we'll revisit this process again before Leo turns 18. But it's worth hanging in and making him be responsible!

Thanks so much V. :goodvibes I get sick of hearing the same excuse over and over again but he knows I will not be backing down anytime soon. He's seeing a whole new side of me that he didn't know I had.

I just saw on FB that a friend lost his wife to cancer. He and I haven't spoken since HS and I didn't know her, but for some reason it really makes me sad. :sad2:

:sad1: I'm sorry to hear this.

I had a mom friend who I posted on a message board with since our 6 year olds were born. Right around Christmas she passed away in her sleep. I had never met her but she was the sweetest person ever and her death really effected me. You just can't take life for granted.

BTW...cute pics of the ducks. Your right they are very peaceful to watch.

Thanks Jo. :goodvibes

My Nanny is in hospital, she collapsed last night and her blood pressure was really low. I chatted on the phone with her yesterday for ages and to start with she was really down but then cheered up which was great. Thing is she's 89 and always been very healthy she now has a few problems and has had enough, she's ready to die :sad1:

Aw Jo, I'm sorry. :(

Brighter news though I got a parcel from Kay the Disney Grandmom on the panel, she is so sweet, sent a letter about how great we all are and what good friendships we've made, she also sent a couple of bookmarks from her ABD Italy trip, a luggage tag that she had made with a cross stitched Mickey on, a CD she had made with all nice Disney songs and some Mickey M&M's which Ellie is going to love for her party. She's so generous!

Also remember the man who David thought I was having an affair with ages ago? Well he's coming round this afternoon to plan his ADR's, don't worry he's bringing his kids :rotfl2:

What a sweetheart to send those things. And :rotfl: to the guy coming over. I assume David will be home as well?

Thanks Debra. :goodvibes

Well I'm back from Lindsey's music program. I took some pics and video and will post a little later. They will perform again in the afternoon and I think DR and I will go to that one as well and try to get a seat in the first row. Maybe with that DR will sit still and actually watch this time around.

Off to get lunch and enjoy the little bit of sunshine we have right now. We're supposed to get some heavy storms this afternoon and into evening.

Good Morning everyone! :goodvibes

Another busy day today.... does it ever end? :faint:

Have to get both kids to school, then to the gym, run back home for a shower, head to Maddie's school for reading, and then run to pick up Evan from school by 12pm.

Tonight I've got a boring Girl Scout leader meeting, so not looking forward to that.... I need to be home in time to watch the seaon finale of Grey's! :lmao:

Hope everyone has a great day! :grouphug:

 Hi T! Are you ever going to slow down?!?

morning everyone!

im late for my lab, but i have to wait for the next bus so....

As for the dog, no the guy didnt give me any advice, but i basically told him that if he was going to overreact and tell me im starving or abusing a dog then he needs to just stop and mind his own business because its not his dog to raise. I know he was trying to be concerned, but you just dont say those things to me. All i wanted to do was slap him. Im going to keep the dog in the bedroom and hope hope hope she doesnt tear anything up. Shes been pretty good except for that first day. She has plenty of toys to chew on so that should keep her happy. Ill be home early today too.

Marc was supposed to be home today, but they gave him mandatory 24 hours overtime. so i wont get to see him until friday evening and well have to go straight up to that paintball game. Then he has to leave right after the game to go to his next shift. I hate it when my plans get changed.:headache:

I watched dont mess with the zohan last night. i only half watched so i had no clue what was going on.

everyone have a grrrreat day!

Dawn- good luck with the move.

I just saw on FB that a friend lost his wife to cancer. He and I haven't spoken since HS and I didn't know her, but for some reason it really makes me sad. :sad2:

Sure. Our peers shouldn't be dying. I'm sorry.

On a lighter note, there were ducks in the pool this morning.

Very cute!

I know and David has taken 3 of those days off so we're doing stuff for us!

:rolleyes1:rotfl2:

Ugh. :sad2:

Good Morning everyone! :goodvibes

Hiya, T!

Mine got out, your's went in. Not good.

I'm glad yours got out. :)

Off to get lunch and enjoy the little bit of sunshine we have right now. We're supposed to get some heavy storms this afternoon and into evening.

Enjoy!

And a couple extra for anyone else who needs them :hug::hug:

I don't need any today so far, but I'll always take one. :goodvibes Thanks, Kate.

So, I have a funny Dad story...

My dad is a grain farmer, but the house is just at the edge of a very small town (5 blocks long by about 4 wide) and we have 3 acres, half of which technically fall outside the city limits, and there are a couple of barns and so forth in the back.

Last week, they noticed there was a skunk living in the small red barn. They set a trap (live, to relocate) but wound up catching a big raccoon first. They moved the raccoon to a field area. They did finally find the skunk, but it escaped before they could do much to it.

So this week, Mom thought she was hearing birds in their heating/cooling ducts in the house. They were debating who to call about this. The house is roughly 100 years old, and there's a cement block shower in the basement that Dad uses a lot when he's been working, because he's really filthy.

Anyway, Tuesday afternoon, he stepped out of that shower in the basement, and a baby raccoon came running towards him. He captured it in his towel, ran in the buff upstairs :rotfl:, and put it on the back deck. I'm sorry, but this just totally cracks me up. My dad is a big guy, and I can't picture him running anywhere, let alone the up the stairs, nude, carrying an animal. :rotfl2: Mom found a box, and they were going to move it over to where they put the big one, but it also escaped. Now they are still hearing more. Mom had one come up to her while she was doing laundry in the basement yesterday - she doesn't know if it's the same one finding his way back or his siblings. :lmao:

Of course, what they are really worried about is the babies dying in the ducts and creating big problems for them, and well, Mom says they're cute. :rotfl2: She said, "I think we should call someone to get them out." Yep. ::yes::

Hi people!!!!

CE - Lets hope that no skunks find the vent. My BFF Rockie had that happen. Major ordeal.

JO - Sorry about grandma. You behave this afternoon, kids or not.

ANGELA - I loved the ducks. So cute. Sorry about the friend's wife. Your a good person, so of course it would make you sad.

CEL BEL - I hope that Sunny behaves.

HI Janet, T, Z, DEB, Sharky, LORI and DAWN!

I'm taking a break. I've got some iced tea brewing and a burrito in the oven.

The house is clean. Floors and all. Sanding the ceiling is killing my shoulders. I might have to break out the heavy duty equipment. That makes a heck of a mess though. I can't wait until we get the man cave done so I can show you the before and after shots. Plus I'll get my living room in order.

When I signed off earlier this morning I went back upstairs and Holy Smokes! The wind was at gale force again. The rain was coming down sideways. I flipped on the tube. Just thunderstorm warnings. No tornadoes. The power flickered a few times but never went out. I hate that wind when it is like that. Today is gorgeous but soggy. My flowers will be full on soon.

Gotta go munch and, in T's words, chillax for a spell.
I'll check back later.

its ok you guys can tell me the truth...Do you think i was wrong and was treating her badly? She was only kept outside on monday and tuesday and then i was with her today. Was i mistreating her for 2 days?

It's really stupid of the roomate to say you mistreated your dog! You did not!!!

Did anyone watch part 1 of the HWs of NYC reunion? I haven't laughed so hard in all my life. Romona is seriously demented. I love Bethany to pieces. She is so funny. I get her. I don't get Kelly. Major air in there. I can't wait until part 2 tonight. Don't call me, I won't answer. I hope they put a tub of mud in front of them.

hHoly Cow they were hilarious! I can't wait until part 2!

Well I'm at work. Only 1 more week of nights and I'll be with the normal people!!! :yay:

Hooray for normal hours!!! Good luck with the switch!

My Nanny is in hospital, she collapsed last night and her blood pressure was really low. I really thought I quoted more...oh well. Sorry to any I missed!

It's 2pm and KC is still sleeping! Who does he think he is, me?! He ended up working until midnight last night, coming home and then working a few more hours (Until about 3:30am) so he can sleep if he wants to.

I'm thinking of waking him soon tho cause I want to order some Chinese food cause I'm starving! I haven't even had coffee yet because I'm trying to be quiet so eh can rest. Darn studio apartment!

Nothing going on today tho, we may or may not pick up the furniture, depending on how K feels once he;s woken up. I have until 6pm but the train ride is a bit far for a small $20 piece of furniture. I just want tomorrow to come!!

I had lunch with my Brother and his GF. I haven't seen her for 25 years. His divorce was finalized a couple of days ago. He refinanced his house which he is selling in August. I think he is basically living with the GF. Nothing to dish about. I knew her and her brother when we were kids. She's OK. She seemed a little nervous. :rolleyes1 I treat people the way they treat me. She'll be fine. I even gave her a hug when we said good bye. I think she about pooped herself. As long as they are happy, that is all that matters.

Glad it went ok!:thumbsup2

Well I'm at work. Only 1 more week of nights and I'll be with the normal people!!!

Bye :wave2: Good luck. See you Wednesday!:goodvibes

Afternoon all. Back from the book fair. It was alot of fun and I spent alot of money:rolleyes1 Stopped and grabbed a sandwich on the way home an I thought I'd check in before I have to leave in 40 minutes to go back to school to pick Jimmy up for his Doctor's appointment.

You are very welcome and be safe!

Im going to keep the dog in the bedroom and hope hope hope she doesnt tear anything up.
I think this has been said before but I don't remember your answer. Do you have a training kennel? Those seem to work for my friends when they are away all day.

ran in the buff upstairs :rotfl:, and put it on the back deck.
Now that is funny! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hi Kristel. Your house sounds amazingly clean!

It's 2pm and KC is still sleeping! Who does he think he is, me?!
:rotfl2:

It was alot of fun and I spent alot of money:rolleyes1
Thats exactly why I try to avoid bookfairs.

Jo, I think I missed your post but I am sorry about yout grandmother.
I can't wait until you get to watch Lost. It will make you cry. It will make you laugh. And it will make you speechless. Seriously the last five minutes I laughed so hard I almost fell off the couch. Then suddenly I was almost crying. Then after it was over I turned the tv off and DH and I just sat there unable to say anything to each other. It has taken me this long just to absorb everything. It was amazing!

Does anyone have a recipe for a Lapu Lapu? I know it is pineapple juice and rum but is there anything else. I was thinking of making some this weekend.

22 days until Disney for me!!! And I have soooooo much to do.

Im going to keep the dog in the bedroom and hope hope hope she doesnt tear anything up. Shes been pretty good except for that first day. She has plenty of toys to chew on so that should keep her happy. Ill be home early today too.

That sounds like a good plan. :thumbsup2

So, I have a funny Dad story...

:lmao:

I have to agree with your mom and that the baby raccoons are so cute. When we first moved to TX we left our trash out on the back deck. A mama and her babies came and got into it and they were so cute. We had fun watching them and Lindsey wanted the door open to pet one. :sad2: I told her heck no to that one though. LOL

HI Janet, T, Z, DEB, Sharky, LORI and DAWN!

 Hi Kristal! Sounds like you've been very busy today.

 Hi Kat and Janet!

Was it the season finale? I haven't watched Lost all season and hope to catch up with it online over the summer. I think I got so burned out on it with all the twists and turns it took last year.

I have quite a few shows I need to catch up with online.

**********************************************

Lindsey's music program is done and she has a t-ball game tonight. The rain has managed to hold off so we'll see what happens. I should start dinner but don't feel like it. LOL

Linds officially has 4 days of school left. :scared1:

he stepped out of that shower in the basement, and a baby raccoon came running towards him. He captured it in his towel, ran in the buff upstairs :rotfl:, and put it on the back deck.
This totally cracked me up. But, I thought you were going to say that he stepped out of the shower and a skunk was there and sprayed him - which may have been funnier. :rotfl2:
Which could have been funnier.
Also remember the man who David thought I was having an affair with ages ago? Well he's coming round this afternoon to plan his ADR's, don't worry he's bringing his kids :rotfl2:
Sorry to hear about your nanny.

Are you sure he's bringing his kids? I bet they will be "sick" :rotfl:

I just saw on FB that a friend lost his wife to cancer.

That is sad.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Today I planned ds's class party. I sent emails out to all the parents and so far have only had 2 respond that they would bring stuff.

Then I went to Toys R Us and bought ds an electric Razor scooter for his out of school present. We usually have an end of school party, but since we are going out of town, we aren't having one. He is going to have a friend spend the night next Friday and we'll give him the gift Saturday. When I got to my car, there was a HUGE scratch on my liftgate. It is clear to the metal and is almost a straight line. I went grocery shopping yesterday and it was not there. We also went shopping last night. Dh bought some clothes and put them in the back. He would have noticed this scratch. It's really big. Then we went to Wal Mart and did not buy anything. So, it either happened at WM or ToysRus, but I can't figure out what happened. There is not a dent. It is a huge line and it is down to the sheetmetal. It's too high to be caused by a shopping cart. I'm considering filing a vandalism claim. I'm going to have one of my old co-workers look at it and see what they think. It really aggravates me b/c I've only had this car about 7 months. My sister ran into it back in January and scratched the bumper. I had her get it fixed. I guess my car is a magnet for damage.

Was it the season finale?
Yes. And it was awesome. It's so hard not to talk about it here but I know Jo hasn't watched it. I have been on the Lost thread all day!

Then I went to Toys R Us and bought ds an electric Razor scooter for his out of school present.
Now I feel like a cheapskate. I don't buy our kids Out of school gifts.

Sorry about your car.

For Tomorrow:

Lapu Lapu

Tambu Lounge

1 oz. Meyer's Rum

1/2 oz. Bacardi 151

Scorpion Mix (half and half sour mix and orange juice)

Garnish: Cherry

Served in a pineapple

Sorry for not quoting, I did a while back and my laptop decided to shut down so they all disappeared!

Anyway thanks so much for all the hugs for my Nanny, Mum phoned and she has to stay in at least 48 hours whilst they do some heart tests, apparently she has an irregular heart beat which caused her to collapse when she stood up!

I spent ages chatting to my friend and his kids, mainly his 14 y/o DD, and we've sorted out all his ADR's, need to call in a few days, told him lots of tips etc. Talking of tips one of the UK bloggers has written an article on a blog listing loads of HER tips and half of them are the ones I gave to the UK Disney lot  Another blogger posted some a few days ago but she did post they were mine!!!!

CE the picture of your Dad is hilarious, I hope their house isn't over looked :rotfl:

its ok you guys can tell me the truth...Do you think i was wrong and was treating her badly? She was only kept outside on monday and tuesday and then i was with her today. Was i mistreating her for 2 days?
 Ok, I hope I don't offend you but I think keeping a dog on a tether all day is a little much, especially for a puppy. She needs a dog run/kennel area. Sorry, JMO. :duck:
T: Glad you went and worked out! Keep it up! :goodvibes I felt the same way today, but I dragged myself to the gym too and felt good once I got there too. I watched Oprah while walking/running.
You too! We should work-out together. :lmao:

Debra: So what'd your boss put that shocked you? If you don't mind, you don't have to say if you don't want to. I'm just being nosey.
I was hoping someone would ask, I'm nosey too!

I'll miss you, friends-in-the-box...
:rotfl2: Friends-in-a-box!

T- I hate to tell you, but my son has been harder to deal with when clothes are concerned than my girls! Thank goodness you're not in charge anymore.
I don't mind him pick out his own things, but his influences are teenagers and I'm trying to keep my baby ... well a baby. ;)
I e-mailed my attorney regarding my ex and child support. I'm hoping I can file a contempt in court to get him to pay but really if he has no job what good is it going to do? I'm just so sick of this crap.
So sorry you are dealing with this Lori, but as V said - don't let him off the hook!
I just saw on FB that a friend lost his wife to cancer. He and I haven't spoken since HS and I didn't know her, but for some reason it really makes me sad. :sad2:
I'm so sorry!

Cute, but I'm afraid of birds, water fowl included. :scared: I have to ask, though, in the background... the little red house.... is that a bird feeder? It's totally cute! :goodvibes
But T I only like mild cheddar
:sad2:
My Nanny is in hospital, she collapsed last night and her blood pressure was really low. I chatted on the phone with her yesterday for ages and to start with she was really down but then cheered up which was great. Thing is she's 89 and always been very healthy she now has a few problems and has had enough, she's ready to die :sad1:
I'm so sorry Jo. It's hard to let them go, even though as you say, she is ready. I hope she finds her peace.
No kidding! Either that or a freakin' jet pack! :lmao:
 Hi T! Are you ever going to slow down?!?
Hi Lori! Yes, schools out June 17th and our last Brownie meeting is June 30th. I can't flippin' WAIT!
So, I have a funny Dad story...
:rotfl2: That is funny!
Gotta go munch and, in T's words, chillax for a spell.
I'll check back later.
Yes, please! Sounds like you deserve to chillax! :upsidedow

OMG, me too! I was shocked, and I was in tears and I was laughing - it was great! I can't believe it's over next year, though. Whatever will I do on Wednesday nights?

When I got to my car, there was a HUGE scratch on my liftgate. It is clear to the metal and is almost a straight line. I went grocery shopping yesterday and it was not there. That's a HUGE bummer, Mary! I'd be pissed too!:headache:

Well, I made it through the day's activities... except for my Leader meeting which is tonight. I cheated and bought take and bake pizza for dinner. I'm too tired to cook, dang it!

Yes. And it was awesome. It's so hard not to talk about it here but I know Jo hasn't watched it. I have been on the Lost thread all day!

Now I feel like a cheapskate. I don't buy our kids Out of school gifts.

Now i have to go watch it online while i study! I totally forgot about it i was so busy. I havent religiously watched it all, but ive watched most of this season, and bits and pieces of every season.

WE never got out of school presents, but when i got good grades my mom would take me to the used bookstore to pick a couple new books and take my old ones in.:thumbsup2

1/2 oz. Bacardi 151

 Ok, I hope I don't offend you but I think keeping a dog on a tether all day is a little much, especially for a puppy. She needs a dog run/kennel area. Sorry, JMO. :duck:
no no offense taken. Thats why i asked. I knew it would be hard on her, but it was just a short term solution. Shes usually always with marc, but he couldnt take her with him this shift and had to leave her here. She could get under the fence, and so we needed to be able to keep her safe in the yard. I cant afford an $80 small training kennel right now. shes usually with my other dogs etc. and not usually staying here. im just glad its over and i wont have to deal with it anymore. Marc will be home tomorrow and hell be here and able to take him with him from now on. Im just upset that 2 days worth had to be such a big deal. That was the exact last thing i needed. Im grrr at marc for putting me in this position and getting me in a fight with the roommate about it.

I cant believe you guys are ending school already! You must be excited!

What a nice Mommy you are for getting him that. I did promise Lindsey Build-A-Bear though so I guess we'll be doing that here shortly. LOL

And sorry about the car. :( My best friend said that about her Jeep. She wanted that thing so bad and when she finally got it she was in an accident within a week. I think she's been in a few more fender benders since then. Hope you can get it fixed soon.

Anyway thanks so much for all the hugs for my Nanny, Mum phoned and she has to stay in at least 48 hours whilst they do some heart tests, apparently she has an irregular heart beat which caused her to collapse when she stood up!

 Keep us updated

I spent ages chatting to my friend and his kids, mainly his 14 y/o DD, and we've sorted out all his ADR's, need to call in a few days, told him lots of tips etc. Talking of tips one of the UK bloggers has written an article on a blog listing loads of HER tips and half of them are the ones I gave to the UK Disney lot  Another blogger posted some a few days ago but she did post they were mine!!!!

:sad2: That stinks!

So sorry you are dealing with this Lori, but as V said - don't let him off the hook!

Thanks T. :goodvibes

Yes, schools out June 17th and our last Brownie meeting is June 30th. I can't flippin' WAIT!

 Holy Moly that seems so late. Of course Lindsey gets done on the 21st and DR is done on the 27th and I think that is too early. But just think, once your done that means vacation is right around the corner. :yay:

*******************************************************

Lindsey's t-ball game went really well tonight. They normally have about 10-12 kids on the team and only 6 showed up tonight. So each kid got to bat twice for each inning. Lindsey did AWESOME! :cheer2: Not only in batting but in the field as well.

Poor thing is the only girl on her team though. All the other teams we've played have 4-5 girls and Linds is the only one on hers. But hey, she does better than half the boys on her team and way better than the other girls I've seen play on other teams. Yes...I'm doing a mama brag. :rotfl:

DR had fun running around and playing with the other boys that were there. One little boy was so mean and so bad. I have no idea where his mother was but once I found out I was shooting her dirty glances. (That was so mean of me). There were about 6-7 boys playing around the bleachers with some Hot Wheels and sidewalk chalk. This bad kid takes a car off another boy and then starts slamming it against the metal bleachers. DR was telling him to stop because it was hurting his ears. It only made this kid hit the bleachers harder. One mom tried to stop him but he looked at her like she had two heads. I finally stood up and went to take the car away from him and of course his mom looks over then. She finally stepped in and told him to stop and give the car back but c'mon. The kid had been doing it for a good 3 minutes. So of course once the car was gone and no other kids would play with him he started stopming on the bleacers. OMG...I wanted to smack this kid! :sad2:

So, that's it for me tonight. I'm getting the kids PJ's on and sending them to bed. CSI will be on in about 30 minutes and I am just going to reeeeeellllllaaaaaaxxxxxxxxxxx. :happytv:

See, there's this vicious circle here. I noticed it about 3 days ago....

I logged on to the new thread. Page 3 already!!! Took me all dang day to catch up and then post.

Life got busy again and I check back to find, PAGE 7!!! Arrrggghhhh! Tried to catch up! Read and read and read. Only to find that it's at page 9!

Cleaned my house, biked 25 miles (in 3 days!!!) and attended several school functions (why the heck is EVERYTHING in the last month of school?????) and now we're at page 14.

Well, I didn't quote. SORRY! :rotfl2: No way man. Couldn't do it. :sad2:

My teeth are healing (sort of) and they only hurt a bit on the left side. :confused3 I made it to the gym all 3 days (I'm sticking with my 3 day a week commitment! Go me!) and I've got most of my housework done. Bob's home tomorrow. I am working in the library for the morning, but then I'll be home.

Things are good. Kids are doing great. Gus goes to tour the middle school tomorrow (sniff, sniff. My baby is going to middle school.) and then it's the weekend. Saturday night is karaoke with my crazy librarian friends. Yay! Bob's going to come with me!

 for everyone who needs one, love and stuff to everyone else. Missed you all SO much!
