We had fun though but didn't win a prize, thank god though as they sucked :rotfl2:
:rotfl:

Angela- What are you reading? Anything good?
Just finished The Fixer Upper by Mary Kay Andrews. :thumbsup2 Started a little cozy mystery by Linda O. Johnson.

BTW... tomorrow is AMC $1 movie at 10am. Madagascar II is showing. Hope some of you have AMC's around you.
Too bad Reid doesn't watch tv. :sad2:

The doctor appointments went well. They are healthy, growing at a good steady rate, etc. No shots, thank goodness.
I know that makes you happy. :goodvibes Reid just went for his 2 year appt. He weighs 32 lbs and is 35 inches tall. He is also in the 80th something percentile for a big head! Just like his dad. :rotfl:

Um, no I don't want my picture in the paper...there fore I'm taking Thursday off so they can't make me be in the picture:thumbsup2
I like your attitude! :rotfl2:

It's an outpatient thingie and I'm not worried about it !! It's the waitingfor the labs to come back that scares the heck outta me !!
 It's done outpatient?:hug: You definitely need more of these.

It's been raining all day which has squelched my pool plans. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. :goodvibes

She was fine, she so wanted them pierced and hope your nails are OK now, can you wear any polish?

they have to be painted "complimentary to your skin tone colors". Sos purple no good, beige = good. ;)

On a serious note the surgeon wants to remove the lump due to my history of breast cancer although the sono/mammo were fine he doesn't want to take any chances !! It's an outpatient thingie and I'm not worried about it !! It's the waitingfor the labs to come back that scares the heck outta me !!
So Rosie needs some hugs !!:sad2:

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired. I went to bed at 11 and had carpy sleep because I'm usually a vampire. Was up at 6, but the alarm was for 6:30, stayed up anyway. Stopped for coffee. Got there early. Training-ish occurred. We mainly got a tour of the store before it opened (I learned really cool stuff about the store I had NO IDEA of), toured the confusing 3 floor employee areas. Then they put us to work. LOL. We did shipment, had a 15 min break, did more shipment, went home. Oh and as you can see from my new avatar, we got our badges!

I go in tomorrow 11-3 again, hopefully more stuff is learned. I get my CM discount in the store now, which is bad because I get paid weekly. And we get the discount on top of the sale price of things. Exactly. I shopped with my eyes all day long.

After work I bought a second pair of sneakers to alternate with and got myself some lunch. Now I am just trying to function. I need more sleep.

I am also concerned about the job. Originally I was a "runner" which involves moving around and stocking stuff, etc. Now I am "receiving" which is a lot of standing still and hanging and folding stuff. Easy yes, but still is the thing that bothers me most in terms of my back. Sooo...I am not giving up, I am going to see how I feel after this week, hopefully it'll be like working out and I can get used to it. :confused3:goodvibes

Sorry to ramble, must be the tiredness. KC left work early and will be home by 7- hallelujah! Also I am booking AC tonight and cleared the days off with work!!!

Kat, love your badge! :goodvibes In addition to the lack of jewelry I could wear, the nail thing would really bother me. I've been wearing red nail polish consistently since high school. Good thing I'm not working there. ;) But your discount rocks! :thumbsup2 I just got the new Woman's Day magazine and in it is an article about not really needing most of the carp we buy, as it pertains to saving money. I'm really trying hard not to buy as much but I love shopping. :rolleyes1

I like your attitude! :rotfl2:

See my thought is that why would I want to give the criminals a picture of all of us...so they can pick us off one by one:confused3

Mom said you are in desperate need of it!

Oh and as you can see from my new avatar, we got our badges!

:woohoo:

I get my CM discount in the store now

Um, does that mean you can use it at the outlet too;)popcorn::

Also I am booking AC tonight and cleared the days off with work!!![/COLOR]

:yay: Email me plans when they are final!:thumbsup2

No, we have this thing here called No Child Left Behind which translates to no child is allowed to be too advanced.
Ain't that the truth... :sad2:

Love it!!! :cutie:

KJJ- Don'tcha know that if you're right, those ladies would have to try a little harder instead of just being mean to people when they don't do what they want? ;) I didn't read everything, but I like your perspective. :flower3: You're a wise lady!

I know :rotfl2: but seriously first prize was a mug :sad2:

:rotfl:

Stop looking :rotfl: I just use my user CP and rarely look for new threads!

That's what I do, too - that's also why, if you have a TR or pre-TR, you've got to hit me over the head with it. I'll never find it by myself. :lmao:

So Rosie needs some hugs !!:sad2:

   Let us know the details.

I know that makes you happy. :goodvibes Reid just went for his 2 year appt. He weighs 32 lbs and is 35 inches tall. He is also in the 80th something percentile for a big head! Just like his dad.

D & I both had to have our heads measured once, because Woody has an enormous head. Turns out we both do, too. :rotfl2:

You're not purple? ;)

Easy yes, but still is the thing that bothers me most in terms of my back. Sooo...I am not giving up, I am going to see how I feel after this week, hopefully it'll be like working out and I can get used to it.

Just make sure they know - they might think they're "helping" by not having you up and about a lot.

See my thought is that why would I want to give the criminals a picture of all of us...so they can pick us off one by one

:rotfl: I thought I quoted your earlier post, but skipping Thursday makes sense to me. ;)

****************************************************
The latter half of the day went well, too - the boys were the only kids signed up for Tuesday sessions so far, so they got a private lesson for relatively cheap. :thumbsup2

We were inside, but since the JAR (activity room) was open, no problems there, and then D met us for dinner. The pro gave us coupons for 20% off our dinner, too!

D is already asleep on the couch, but I've not made the kids go to bed yet. Soon. ;)

I honestly think the nail polish might be why I don't want to work for the mouse. :rotfl::rotfl:

That's great. I love saving money ::yes::

D is already asleep on the couch, but I've not made the kids go to bed yet. Soon. ;)

Jimmy will be going soon too. He and Jim are outside playing. Since there is no school tomorrow I'm going crazy making sure he is in bed at a certain time, KWIM?

rosie~:hug::hug::hug::hug:

Kat- sounds like you had a busy day! hope your at least having a little fun. I know when i was in FL most/ basically all of my money went straight back to the company. I almost always ate out at the parks on top of merch. But who can resist when you have a 50% off holiday discount!:cool1:

And ya the jewelry thing bothers me too. I have a chocker with a celtic know i have worn at all times for 9 years straight. I have an indent and tan line on my neck to prove it. It just about killed me to have to take it off in FL. I had to work pretty hard getting my tan line back to normal!:rolleyes1

Thanks for all the Hugs !! I have the surgery as an outpatient , just local anaestetic NO fasting which is good cuz I hate NOT eating !! The date is July 8th !! Phil wil l!!!take on call for me ! I checked into the private school that I attended through 5th grade. The total for my three children including the max scholarship awarded will be the low low price of $20,000 per year.

Thanks for all the Hugs !! I have the surgery as an outpatient , just local anaestetic NO fasting which is good cuz I hate NOT eating !! The date is July 8th !!

OK, Rosie. I'm glad to hear it's non-fasting and outpatient and all that.

Rosie:  to you. We'll all be keeping you in our thoughts!

Angela: No shopping? No pool? You must be all discombobulated! LOL :lmao:

CE: Wow, busy momma! Glad the boys are growing well. Gus' head is huge too!

JO: A mug?! For first place?! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Janet: ITA with you about the photo. No way would I do it if I worked in law enforcement of ANY kind! :scared1:

V: As the mother of an almost 17 year old, I can say that I think that is WAY too young to be out till "the wee hours." I also lived on my own at that age, but I think you'd agree that it wasn't ideal, and that it was (at times) downright scary or dangerous. He does not have his driver's license yet, but when he does he's restricted to midnight by the law anyway. Did this kid drive?

Some extras:
T, you don't have fat legs, Kate, miss you! Saw a Mo sighting way back a few pages! KJJ, don't go looking and you won't get mad. S'late, you could always homeschool. :rolleyes1 Just sayin'.....

****************
Hi everyone!!! Dawn's ticker is cool huh?????? I can't wait to visit my favorite TEXAS Fockers!!!!!!!

Today was a boring laundry day. It poured down rain all day and it's cold. I don't think it got above 62 all day!

Tomorrow I am going to IKEA with Gus and my friend, Cyndi. I'll check back in later when I'm home. Just in case I get something good.... :thumbsup2 I'm coloring my hair tomorrow too. Sick of looking like an old hag.

MEL:banana:

Debra- Have a good time at the Movie. Let us know what you see.
We saw Kung Fu panda. It is a summer movie thing they are doing. $3 and includes child size popcorn and drink.:thumbsup2

My kids have been running around telling me how they have nothing to do.:confused3 TINK thinks she should have a playdate everyday! :scared1: I think they need to play by themselves a bit and enjoy the relaxation. :thumbsup2 (ya right).
I hate complaining of nothing to do when they have a house full of toys!

oh for the love of God I'm fighting with people on the community boards again.
Ok, now I have to go look to see whatyou are talking about.

I was going to take Monday off but since mom is leaving early Monday morning I am going to work now. I did take Thursday off though. We got an email stating they wanted us to be here to take a picture for the newspaper becasue they are doing an article about or re-organization. Um, no I don't want my picture in the paper...there fore I'm taking Thursday off so they can't make me be in the picture:thumbsup2
SOunds reasonable to me

On a serious note the surgeon wants to remove the lump due to my history of breast cancer
Rosie, are you referring to a family history or are you a survivor yourself?

So there's a thread on teh CB about someone's DS17 staying out until the wee hours of the morning. Not, apparently, a bad kid - just likes to be out late I guess. Anyway, most repsonders are appalled that a 17yo is allowed out that late. Which sort of blows my mind - given that I was working full time and living on my own at 17! I don't know how I'll feel when Leo's that age, but it seems so weird to me, given my own experiences.
ITA

Oh and as you can see from my new avatar, we got our badges!
I want credit for noticing your avator before I read about it
I do hope this works out for you Kat. If your back starts acting up do you think they could re-assign you somewhere else that isn't standing still?

I just got the new Woman's Day magazine and in it is an article about not really needing most of the carp we buy, as it pertains to saving money. I'm really trying hard not to buy as much but I love shopping. :rolleyes1
Wholly Molly! I quit shopping two years ago. Right after we got married we made a promise to get out of debt. So we don't buy anything unless we absolutely need it. It hurt for a long time but I think I am finally out of detox LOL! We should have our house paid off in 5 years!

We went to see Kung Fu Panda today. Then they wanted to go swimming but my SIL wasn't home (or wasn't answering her phone whichever the case may be  ) So we went to the city pool. It was waaaay too crowded for my tastes. We sooo need our own pool. Then I took Chi and Omicron back to their dad's where they will be until Sunday. alpha and Delta are coming home tomorrow.
Cooked spaghetti pie trying to recall a recipe from memory. It was ok but I think I missed an ingredient or two. Mom came over to eat dinner with us. And now I am here. :goodvibes

Holy %*&#!

:faint:

My thoughts as well.

It looks like public school is the only option given that Ed McMahon will never find me now. The only private that we could remotely afford is Wilson Christian, but our children wouldn't be attending for the right reasons. Nothing against church based schooling, but we couldn't exactly say we are here because we want our children schooled in a Christian environment but rather that you are the cheapest around.

Mel,

I haven't completely ruled out homeschooling.

CE: Wow, busy momma! Glad the boys are growing well. Gus' head is huge too!

Hi, Mel!

Celbel- Yep taking out my tongue ring is freaky all day and I usually always wear a necklace and it felt really weird not to. Whop was I supposed to email about the cast member boards again? I finally have my # so I'm sure i can get my CM DIS on!

Deb- I'm pretty sure there are other positions I can do. I am hop9ing this works out tho and I don't have to go thru any drama because my back has been an issue and the reason i have left several jobs but i wanna work for Disney!!! ;)

Off to bed. I have dinner for the next few nights done and in tupperware in the fridge. I feel like poo poo still, every time i eat i feel like death. Oh well. Coffee however went down fine, so i think it's just taking over and my body only wants it. lol.

nighty night.
