Since LL's not pimping out her own TR, I'm doing it for her. Find it HERE! :thumbsup2

Thanks!

The sad thing is he is now avoiding calling the kids because he's mad at me and doesn't want to hear it. :sad2: Idiot.

Great parenting, that... Sigh.

Mom and I are going to DW in December

That's great!

Just get something a shade lighter than you'd normally get. Only put it on the roots and when you rinse, it will barely just freshen up the ends and blend nicely.

Sounds good - I think I'm dropping the kids at the birthday party (glow bowling) and running to Target. I'll look for a lighter version of the last one. :thumbsup2 Thanks!

She's so picky about shoes I almost always flip out on her.

Oh, I HATE shoe shopping with Woody. He's the same. I couldn't believe he went for the first pair he tried on yesterday.

I could have made some money :rotfl2:

::yes::

********************************************************
OK, I love my DH dearly, but sometimes... :sad2: :rotfl2:

He called and I said I'd been packing for him, and I thought I was doing OK, but which shoes did he want me to bring?

He says, "Oh, I started packing some up yesterday, all my shoes are in my backpack."

I would NEVER, NEVER have put that backpack in the van if he hadn't said anything. :rotfl: I saw he had stuck a few things in his extra suitcase (his main one is with him in Ireland) but it really never would have occurred to me to bring a backpack he uses mainly on the boat. :confused3 Since he's flying during the day tomorrow, I wouldn't have been able to get hold of him. :sad2:

And if I hadn't asked about shoes, it didn't seem like he was going to say anything. Sigh. :lmao:

Oh, well. It will be fine.

Then, my neighbor and I went to drop off his car, but when I got there and said, "oh, thanks for doing this before we leave" they said they didn't WANT to do it if we weren't going to be driving the car - something about dye and checking for leaks, and nothing moving through. That's all fine, but I feel bad that I dragged my neighbor over only to drive back home. D will have to deal when he flies back.

And, really, that's about it. I need to hit up Target later for the hair dye and other stuff, and then tomorrow I'll need a snack food run - possibly I'll just stop at Trader Joe's on the way out of town (it's on the way.) :)

I'll swap you I bet mines worse than yours :rotfl2:
Ah, but yours cooks, doesn't she? It's a deal, then! :thumbsup2

:rotfl: you wimp you ;)
::yes::

Well school shoe shopping is half done, we managed to get Jess a pair but not Ells, they both got new knickers though ;) :rotfl:
Us too! I got Evan 1 pair and Mads 1 pair. They both need at least 1 more pair each.

You're going to love it! :thumbsup2 Maybe a wine fridge and an appliance garage too?

Great minds, Angela. I've already got the wine thingy, but the appliance garage is being added. :thumbsup2
Where is everyone??????
Back to school shopping. :teeth:
Oh, I HATE shoe shopping with Woody. He's the same. I couldn't believe he went for the first pair he tried on yesterday.
OMG, Maddie did the same thing to me today. She chose a pair of shoes so quickly I kept bugging her to make sure. :faint:

:rotfl2: That's a husband for you! ANdy would totally do the same thing.
:sad2:

Well, the banging is driving me mad, so I packed up the kids and headed out for some shopping. Justice was closed because the lock on the door broke and they were waiting for a locksmith, so we headed to the shoe store and grabbed Mads some really cool black velcro Chucks. SHe wanted $80 Ed Hardy ones, but I said h to he** no!

Next door was a Walmart, and since it's not the 1st or the 15th, we decided to check it out. We found a cute lunch bag for Maddie and some microwave foods to prepare at home.

Exciting, right? :lmao:

We're home now, and I'm trying to decide where to go next. :confused3

I was afraid I'd end up talking him out of them. :rotfl:

Good luck! My neighbor pretty much is insisting on driving the boys to her son's party - and home - so I will definitely hit Target and Trader Joe's. Woohoo!

And she's going early, of course, so they're walking out the door in 3 minutes. I mowed the lawn, and showered, so I'm out for a while. Have a great evening!

Then, my neighbor and I went to drop off his car, but when I got there and said, "oh, thanks for doing this before we leave" they said they didn't WANT to do it if we weren't going to be driving the car -
Like you're supposed to know that.

I was on the computer earlier and the power went out so I call the utility company. I'm pressing the proper button according to the automated man and then he asks if I have reset my breaker. So since I hadn't, I had to hang up, reset it, and call back. Of course I got the breaker off and couldn't get it back on. All the while Mitch is telling me he's staying at work if we have no power. Luckily it was out for only 30 minutes but heading into active hurricane season, I'm in trouble if we have a major outage.

I forgot to say I texted Janet and she's been in bed sick for 2 days. Send good thoughts her way. :goodvibes

Evening All !!!
Jo I m sooooo glad the girls got new KNICKERS!!!!!:rotfl2:I got the girls new knicks for their birthday cuz they can't be knickerless:lmao:
Glad everyone liked the "Clink" story!!!It made my day when it happened:laughing:
Well I have to find Kyle and go get the girls from cheerleading :eek:Chat later!!!!

I skimmed but I'm very lazy today. I worked 9-2 and then came home and slept. I could still sleep. But I'm hoping i'll still get good sleep tonight. a 10-3 tomorrow and then Friday my friend and her hubby are here from California and we are spending the day in the city. Then a stinky weekend of work both days.

So I am one of about 15 people who completed the trivia correctly and at work and moved to the next round!

Here's round 2...it's hard- HELP! (only got one so far)

1. Who is the houseguest in the Carousel of Progress?
2. What are the names of the first 3 WDW resort hotels built in 1971?
3. In which park and what attraction will you find the following man? (It’s a pic of a man & a dog on a leash)
4. What is Jennifer Foxworth’s home address?
5. In The Incredibles, what is the name of the island that the Syndrome invites Bob Parr to?
6. Vanessa Hudgens had a recurring role on what Disney Channel Show PRIOR to her success with High School Musical?
(The Suite Life of Zack and Cody)
7. On the ABD television show LOST, what is jughead?
8. What is the name of the only “girl” character on the Imagination Movers?
9. What Disney Channel star released their debut self-titled album in June? Name 1 song from the album.
10. What “timeless” icon stood where the Astro-Orbiter attraction on Disneyland Park now stands?
11. There are 3 animals mounted on the wall in The Country Bear Jamboree. What type of animal is hung on the right hand side and what is their name?
12. What were the names of Walt Disney’s siblings?

Bonus: Only male Cast Members played gangsters in The Great Movie Ride’s first 11 years. In 2000, the first female gangster arrived. What was her full name?

Off to marinate some steaks and eat!

Have tons of quotes, but first:

KAT:

Carousel of progress houseguest is Cousin Orville.

Jennifer Foxworth's home address is Fifth Avenue NY, NY
I don't know the number but it's from Oliver and Co.

So I watched a video of the CoP and after wards wondered if the question was a trick question. Could the answer be that you are the house guest? The person watching the attraction I mean?!

I have to DL Oliver & Company now lol.

I got quite a few of them. I'll repost what I have so far.

THANK YOU!

I should know the Imagination Movers one, but can't come up with it and am too lazy to go look. :lmao:

Hey, did you read Godmother? Still curious on other people's take on it. popcorn::

I just wanted to stop by and say that we are leaving at 6am tomorrow for the beach. Have a great week and I'll be back Sunday. :goodvibes

That's definitely job security! :thumbsup2 And here in Orlando, nurses are always in demand. :rolleyes1

I'm thinking of moving once I graduate and FL is a top contender. I don't know how I'll survive the heat down there though. :rotfl2:

Mom and I are going to DW in December
I have always wanted to see the Christmas decor and she wants to do the candlelight processional. Throw in a little MVMCP and I think we are going to have a great weekend

:thumbsup2 Awesome!

I'm going through that this year. Evan just turned 5, but I still think of him as a little 3 year old. :cloud9:

That sounds ideal, Lori! Evan and I went through some MAJOR seperation issues. He's much better now, but he still has a hard time leaving me for extended periods of time.

I talked with the director and she said Fall wasn't too full so he most likely will be in. I noticed today while I was out there that I can take him out of class and have lunch with him there in the commons if I wanted to. I have been a SAHM with him his entire life so while he's OK with me being gone for a few hours, the whole 7:30-4:30 thing is not working for him. I hope he gets over this come next year for all day Kindy and when I start work.

T said:
Can I just say "GO FOR IT!" Everyone I know who's an RN has done all the steps... MA, LPN/LVN and finally RN or PA. Here the pay bracket is so worth it and a HUGE jump. Def. something to look into.

Thanks T. :goodvibes The pay is kind of what is making me want to do it especially since I really can't count on the ex for child support.

Day 2 of construction. Today the electrician is going to re-wire the whole kitchen, the frame work is being done on the rotted wood around the old sink, and they're putting in my water line to the ice maker. :cloud9:

I've got to head to the mall for some back to school shopping. Evan's pretty much set, only needs a few collared shirts and a pair of black Van's. Mads is the one who needs a bunch more stuff. I have a stack of J bucks, so we'll hit Justice and then it's the dreaded SHOE shopping. Bleh! She's so picky about shoes I almost always flip out on her.

Happy Hump Day! :flower3:

Yay for the ice maker. Love ours! I saw your pics on FB of Day 1 demo and I so want a fridge like yours. LOL

Good Luck shoe shopping, I'm dreading it when it's our turn.

As to the trivia...I know the Imaginatin Movers one is Nina. I was going to guess Demi Levoto (I think that's her name) for the ablbum one but your probably right with the Mitchell Musso one. And I want to say that the island in The Incredibales is Syndrome Island. Not 100% sure though.

I just wanted to stop by and say that we are leaving at 6am tomorrow for the beach. Have a great week and I'll be back Sunday. :goodvibes

:yay: Have a great time!

*************************************************

UGH! My ex husband is a moron! I was about to get the kids into the tub when Lindsey told me she wanted to talk with ther dad. OK..so I call him and I get some kind of message that I dialed the wrong code. So, I try again and it happens again. I try a third time and it's the exact same thing. I'm pi$$ed by now.

I get the kids in the tub and decide to call his grandmother's house to see if I could get him on the phone that way. His mother (the Wicked Witch of the West) ex-MIL answers the phone. CRAP!!! I asked if D was there and nope he wasn't there. OK fine...just have him call the kids when he gets in. She then asks when was the last time he had called...last week sometime. Oh well, we haven't heard from him for a week either and called the phone company and they said he is either out of range or that his phone has been shut off. Lovely...that doesn't leave the excuse of him not e-mailing me back.

Anyways, she goes on to tell me that he had to take a truck back to his brother's house in MN and then is working some type of job in Chicago. When I asked what type of job and a few other questions regarding this she couldn't give me a straight answer and the story just didn't add up at all.

I was then on the phone with her for 2 hours going on and on about this, that and the kitchen sink. I don't care how her other son's are doing, and their wives (or ex-wives) and their kids, and god only knows what else she talked about. And I really didn't need to hear her go on and on about the ex. In some ways, with the little comments she makes, its kind of like she wants the ex and I to get back together or something. I don't know...it's just weird and NOT happening.

I can just hope that tomorrow is a better day! :rotfl:

Boys!

Just driving by. Work sucks. Home sucks. It's a sucky week all around. Get me outta here! :rotfl:
It is Thursday.

Today I'm having lunch with a friend who works for A Gift For Teaching, a nonprofit that lets teachers "shop" for school supplies for students in need. Most of the stores have had school supplies on a BOGO so it's makes donating so much easier. :thumbsup2 We're also going shopping at Tupperware's headquarters with the profits also going to a GIFT. I love shopping for a good cause.:goodvibes

CE are you packed????

December 4-6th.
Yay sounds great, where you staying?

Ah, but yours cooks, doesn't she? It's a deal, then! :thumbsup2
