So today is Leo's last day of horse camp. He's looking forward to being back at his regular school for camp next week, but says he'll miss riding. Looks like riding lessons are in his future.

What was the official name of this camp in the brochure? Somehow I doubt you signed him up for "horse camp".

I went and did it...I cancelled my trip. The more I thought about it the more I need the money already paid for the trip than the trip itself. I can at least put my kids in top priority even if their father doesn't. I know come September when we go to court things will work out and I'll be able to reschedule. Besides I have a credit with US Air that I'm not going to let to go to waste. LOL

It's so hard to cancel. I had to cancel about 4 times last year...BUT when I got there it was so worth the wait.

Anywho, how are my favorite Dis'sers today. TGIF!!!!!!! Looks like I am heading to New Mexico in 2 weeks. Sr VP will most likely sign off on the trip Monday when he gets back from vacay. Fly out Wednesday morning and back either Thursday night or Friday morning. Unfortunately doesn't leave much stalking time

Janet - I am such a history geek and haven't been to Philly in ages, maybe I will head down the turnpike and come stalk you one weekend

BTW~ You had asked about Manufacturing Camp (#1 went a few weeks ago). They got to see how aluminum is smelted at Alcoa and they went to Eaton which is an air and space manufacturer that makes stuff for NASA. Kind of a week long episode of "How It's Made."

Last night we sat and reflected on the night Evan was born - he loves to hear that story. And then someone pulled out this photo from his 1st birthday at DLR!

BTW~ You had asked about Manufacturing Camp (#1 went a few weeks ago). They got to see how aluminum is smelted at Alcoa and they went to Eaton which is an air and space manufacturer that makes stuff for NASA. Kind of a week long episode of "How It's Made."

My kids would love that camp.

Good afternoon Fockers!

Well, my girls are done with their camp now too. We've got one more week before school starts. I had my PTO board meeting last night and met our brand new principal. I'm holding off on judgment until I get to know her better. She seemed a bit reserved, but that may just because she's feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. So, we'll see how I like her in a few months.

I got myself a pedicure this morning, then went shopping. I had to return a swimsuit to Sears (LandsEnd) and ended up buying a bunch of stuff. I want to get my girls' picture done next week and I found the cutest khaki skorts on sale for like $11 each! I couldn't believe how much Lands End stuff they have at our Sears store! Can't wait to go back!

Dawn, I'd be happy to help you out with your state project. Put me down for Indiana. I live right outside the capital, so I can get you all kinds of stuff.

Sounds like everyone is pretty happy it's Friday around here. I am too. We've got nothing planned for the entire weekend except a pool party at my BFF's house. The girls will love it and it's going to be 93 on Sunday, so it sounds good to me! I just wish I had my new swimsuit, but it's going to be middle of next week...
