I can't believe your mom gave your friends a chore list. And yes - it is too many chores for Jon. I'm glad you talked to her - even if she is clueless about the situation.................

I agree. It's not that I don't think he should work...but I'm not comfortable with her treating him like she treated me...KWIM?

And glad ya'll had fun at SF!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just got a call from my brother...Lexie's dad. We took Lexie with us to the concert last night at the botanical gardens. Apparently...a week ago, the doctor told Alex that Lexie was lactose intolerant. And he has taken her off all milk products. Wish someone would have told me. So, last night for dinner, we had pizza and ice cream. :headache: In the middle of the night, Lexie had a yucky accident all over her new bed and bed sheets. And I'm too blame. Maybe SOMEONE should have told the person watching his daughter that she wasn't allowed to have dairy. Poor Lexie though. But, as for her daddy...glad he has to clean it and not me. :rolleyes1
Good Morning Fockers.
I wanted to check in with you to let you know Gramps crossed over at 1am last night. I'm so happy he's finally at peace. :angel:
We will miss him dearly. :sad1:
Thanks for all your wonderful support! You're the best! :grouphug:
T, I'm so sorry to hear that. :hug: Even though we knew that about my grandfather too, it didn't make it any easier. I foolishly thought it would, or wanted it to. You all are in our thoughts.
:scared1: Why do people like to blame other people for their faults? I hope Lexie is feeling better and he didn't yell at her for it.
:hug: :hug: :hug: for you and Waldo and the family.
And she wants to come everywhere we come. How do you say no???
And that, my friend, is the million dollar question! I asked Leo to take me to see WALL-E this weekend... next thing I know, Gramma's coming too. :headache:
What type do you use, V?
Every few days, Retin-A. For my "acne." :ssst: Daily, I like Aveeno Positively Radiant. :thumbsup2
We actually just had a conversation about how this isn't going to work. apparently, she thinks things are fine. I, on the other hand, told her she needed to back off. I am no longer a child...and just because I am her child...does not mean she gets to treat me with disrespect.
Good for you Jen!!! :cheer2:
So, yeah...he should be making them his first priority and not have brought her along but like my attorney told me 'Go with the flow.' :rolleyes:
::yes:: Listen to your attorney. :hug: It's so, so, so hard, and I'll be honest - I fought that philosophy tooth and nail. But when I finally got to a point where I accepted that my ex is a moron and I can't do anything about it, it was so very freeing! And I promise, your influence on the kids will more than make up for everything else. :goodvibes
Nov. 3-5: David Cassidy
DARN - I always miss David Cassidy! :sad1:
So.. As of the moment we are BACK ON for Florida..
Yay! I think?! :rotfl:
I KNOW it could be worse, but she makes me tense and unhappy, so... No, she's not completely insane, like some MIL's of people I know. She certainly loves the kids. It is just exhausting. Sigh.
:hug: Hang in there CE!
My interview's tomorrow at 11:30. Keep ya' fingahs crawsed!
It's 11:45 as I type... and my fingers are crossed! :cheer2:
Embarrassing Moment!!!!
Wednesday before I had to go to work, I decided to stop by my favorite 'low-rent' store, Walmart. I had to use the potty. I proceeded to walk right into the MEN'S restroom.:blush:
Oh no! :rotfl2:
V.. what kind of forecast do we have for the next week... BESIDES HOT ??:faint:
Ummm.... rainy-ish?! ;)
OMG, Mel, you just described our trip north of a few weeks ago! I haven't figured out how to clone myself yet and until I do, the push-pull-be here-be there-stress of it all it too much.
This is why I've jumped ship on the whole family-visit thing. They no longer have ANY expectations, so if I manage to show up, they're thrilled! :rotfl:
yep---that was me with the pup. I had sprayed Bitter apple all over it---which he hates, but it evaporates too quickly. Maybe I'll try the hot sauce---I did that for my horse who chewed wood.......and then the other horse came up and licked it all off! :sad2:
D'oh! I have to say, Tobasco worked wonders for my electrical wire-chewing rabbit. :thumbsup2
Hi Miz!!
Meeska is okay. She's hangin' in there. With all that she has going on...some days I'm surprised she's standing. But, she's strong!!! Like Ox.
Give her this from me, will ya? :hug:
Apparently...a week ago, the doctor told Alex that Lexie was lactose intolerant. And he has taken her off all milk products. Wish someone would have told me.
Niiiice. :sad2: Poor baby!
Good Morning Fockers.
:headache: Well, if you have any tricks. Let me know.
It's 11:45 as I type... and my fingers are crossed! :cheer2:
1:30 your time darlin. I'm waiting for my hair to dry so I can style it.
Give her this from me, will ya? :hug:
I will.
T: Just wanted to say that I'm thinking about you today. My Gramma and Grampa were my best friends. I know they're hanging out "upstairs" with your Grampa!! :thumbsup2
MEL
Tracy, I am so sorry for your loss. :hug: :hug: :hug: (Until I can give you a real one next month). Your family will be in my thoughts. I hope the kiddos are doing okay.
Yeah I'm with Jim... Guess I'll improvise
Yay! I think?! :rotfl: :
Ummm.... rainy-ish?! ;)
WRONG ANSWER V :rolleyes:
:rotfl2:
When it rains..... IT FLOODS.....I already had a funeral today... Packing, Birthday party, and this whole week was such a bust.. I still think we should have canceled the trip...
Well....
My Best Friends Husband( Greg) lost his Dad this morning. I knew Ernie( Greg's Dad) We used to go to their church.
NOW I REALLY FEEL :guilty: :sad2: Because we are leaving ... when they need me. They were there when I lost both of my parents. Drove to Ky from Virginia.
It seems like last month leading to WDW was much like this... problem problem problem... WHAT AM I IN FOR THIS TIME ??:scared1:
I just can not catch a break ..:sad1:
In the Gotham City area, they have the superheros - no line. So dh took Baby Girl to meet the superheros while Hamboy and I rode a rollercoaster. I think dh wanted to get a pic with Wonder Woman. Anyway - Batman talked to BabyGirl and she hugged him. He introduced her to his friend Robin and she hugged him. She also hugged Flash. Wonder Woman came up to her and Baby Girl threw her a dirty look and turned her head away.:rotfl2: Three years old and she's already telling me, "I only like boys."
That sounds great. I know my DS would love to meet the Super Heroes. Especially Wonder Woman. When he was a baby he would go to any woman with a large chest. He didn't care what color her hair, eyes or skin was. If she had big breasts he was reaching for her.
Embarrassing Moment!!!!
Wednesday before I had to go to work, I decided to stop by my favorite 'low-rent' store, Walmart. I had to use the potty. I proceeded to walk right into the MEN'S restroom.:blush: When I came around that corner, I looked up and my brain slowly interpreted what my eyes were seeing. URINALS - UGH! Luckily for me there was only one man in there and he had a good sense of humor and his pants up!:rolleyes1 He looked at me and said, 'Should I scream or are you going to?':lmao: I put both hands on my face like Caulkin in 'Home Alone', only I didn't scream. Here's the kicker! In my defense, when I was walking to the potties, I saw a "man" come out of the ladies room. That's why I went to the other side. Obviously this person was named 'Pat'. I couldn't find them later to ask. Lessons of the story - don't judge a book by it's cover and the Men's room was actually very clean.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I just read that Randy Pausch died this morning. Did anyone read The Last Lecture? I watched the actual lecture but have yet to read the book.
Good Morning Fockers.
T - I'm so sorry for your loss. Thinking about you and your family.
O.K.... I'm OLD.. BUT NOT THAT OLD
Don't start diggin my grave now !!!
I just meant that you should be careful You don't want to come home and be laid up becuase you over did it. :headache:
That's what being a parent is about... making sure your child is taken care of. It's his job to tell you when she needs special care. Geez. :sad2:
Good Morning Fockers.
I wanted to check in with you to let you know Gramps crossed over at 1am last night. I'm so happy he's finally at peace. :angel:
We will miss him dearly. :sad1:
Thanks for all your wonderful support! You're the best! :grouphug:
Oh, T, I'm so sorry for your loss. :sad1: I'm glad he's not suffering anymore too. :hug:
When it rains..... IT FLOODS.....I already had a funeral today... Packing, Birthday party, and this whole week was such a bust.. I still think we should have canceled the trip...
Well....
My Best Friends Husband( Greg) lost his Dad this morning. I knew Ernie( Greg's Dad) We used to go to their church.
It seems like last month leading to WDW was much like this... problem problem problem... WHAT AM I IN FOR THIS TIME ??:scared1:
I just can not catch a break ..:sad1:
First, :hug: . Second, can you postpone the part of the trip to your dad's so you can be there for your friend? What about pushing everything back a few days? Knowing what I do of you (and myself) it doesn't seem like you're going to enjoy your trip and you'll be disappointed again. I know I'm in the minority, but I would cancel. :guilty: It's like going to a girls night out when you don't feel like it and you know you should be somewhere else. But much more expensive. :sad2:
If I'm wrong, go and have a great time. :hug: Push everything out of your head and have fun.
I'm behind you whatever you decide. :hug: Just take care of yourself. Sometimes we women tend to over do it and we forget to slow down and just say "no" to people. It doesn't make us bad people to take care of our families. in fact, that's our job. We can't do so much for everyone else that our family suffers. Slow down and think about everything and you'll make the right decision for your family. :hug:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, I'm a little stressed right now. K's just called and said that another one of his guys quit. He's supposed to have 4 service techs and he will soon only have one. :eek: It's like no one wants to work hard anymore. They quit in the summer which is the busiest time here and refuse to do their job well. All they seem to do is whine. :sad2: I'm just worried about my hunny and how he's going to handle all this. :guilty: He's already said he'll have to go back in the field, so we'll see him very little while this happens. The kids will have a hard time, I'm sure. They don't remember when daddy missed dinner every night and weekend fun because he was gone constantly. Plus, it's going to put more on me and I need to still be careful of over doing it. YKWIM? :faint: I'm sure it'll just be a little time in our life and it'll pass before we know it, but it's not going to be fun. :guilty:
