Staff meeting did not go well, I have a headache from all the complaints and if they don't end up introuble for running their stupid mouths which meant I had to follow up on and even after I'm telling them be careful what you say !!This is a VERY regulated field and you can get charges of abuse real easy .. When my boss comes back I know heads are gonna roll !!

Okay, I owe you all a huge THANK YOU!!!! Here's why...

After two weeks of eating right and exercising, and losing 2.5lbs... and then doing the same but gaining it back, I was ready to quit and eat an entire cheesecake.

But I didn't. Thanks in large part to all of your helpful suggestions and positive feedback, I stayed the course and kept on doing what I'd been doing.

And it paid off! As of today that 2.5lbs. are gone again... along with another 2lbs.!!!

As you can see, I'm not very motivated and there's no doubt I'd have eaten the cake without you all, so thank you so much for helping me do the right thing.

Our June Vacation was so bad between Flooding, sickness and meltdowns that Scott decided 1 week ago today that we needed a WDW DO OVER .( I even put it do a Vote here and EVEN DAWN thought I should go for it.. I was not sure if we should).. anyway... he wanted to have left Sunday ... but we postponed it a week.

No Flying this time... Driving to Grandpa's Saturday and Staying Sunday -Thursday at "All Star Music" then drive back to Grandpa's and start for home Friday.

MAYBE this time... I'll post a TR and not lose all my photo's, and it not storm everyday, and no one get sick, no Paddies..

Hi Carrie! As it turned out, I drove. Only because as I posted that last message I realized that today was the LAST DAY to sign up Gus for swimming! It's the last session of the summer! YIKES! So, I jumped into my clothes and RAN out the door. Grabbed groceries on the way home. Good news is, it's over now. I can sit and Dis this am. Then after lunch the boys and I are watching a movie. Then have a nice (healthy) dinner and chill out with a board game! I like stay at home days!

V: Glad you made your goal! I had a small relapse yesterday (an icy cold brew, corn chips and salsa and a chocolate chip cookie) But, I'm not sweating it. It was a stressful day. I'm back on track today. I have about 60 lbs to lose all together, and I've only lost 6 so far, but considering that I plan to make this my LIFESTYLE and not just a diet I'm pretty happy.

It makes me really to know that you're doing well, V. It's not easy to be disciplined and we need to help each other!

I think today I will bake a batch of Applesauce muffins. My oldest loves them. I always tell people they have just enough flour to hold them together so you can eat them! I think they're fairly healthy. Gotta work out the calories/pts. but I'll post the recipe later if I make them! Kids them and they freeze GREAT!

Mel, I say this in all seriousness... if I can lose weight - any weight! - truly anyone can! And you're absolutely right - it needs to be a lifestyle change. For me, the eating part is fine, but I have got to make exercise a priority. That's the tough part - who has time?!

It's not easy to be disciplined and we need to help each other!

And 6 pounds is nothing to sneeze at my dear!

O.K... There has to be a "Fockerfest" Next year guy's... Because Scott decided to go back to Disney next year but go in August .. AFTER Sara's Birthday and Before School starts up.

He's also decided that we will get AP's but not renew.. just buy them when we go like last August... and try for 3 trips again.

May have to drive it ( $$$$) but i do not care... and I am going to make sure I can rent points to stay at OKW Studio. I am done with the Value's...

Where in Fort Worth? We lived in Park Glen near Keller until 2004. And where in WV? (I'm close to Bluefield now).

We lived in Southlake, which was close to Keller. We had friends that lived there and would be at their house all the time. We were in TX from June 2005-July 2006.

And I grew up all the way up in the northern part of the state in Wheeling.

We lived in VA when we first got married becaue the ex was in the Marine Corps and stationed at Quantico. Our first apartment was in Dale City and then we moved to Fredericksburg. He then got stationed at the Pentagon and we moved to Arlington.

Being married to him we have lived all over, I'm thankful that the kids and I are settled now and won't be moving for a LONG time!

Well, today we're headed to the zoo to meet up with Parla and her kids! We're going to feed the giraffes at 11am and then watch the elephant bath at 11:30. There's also a little spray park at the zoo where the kids can play in the water, so I'm sure we'll hang out there for a little while. I don't think we'll see the "change your lightbulb show" disguised as a dolphin show though.

Well, at least you have a couple more months with your DSis and nephews.

I adore my nurses at the Glaucoma dr's. They are the most professional, wonderful ladies. It makes me feel better as soon as I go into the office!!!

I'm hoping to start nursing school this fall as well. I feel that at least with a career like that I can support myself and the kids if the ex stops paying child support. But the main reason I want to go into it is because of the exact reason you gave. My mom had cancer for 25+ years and we had so many nurses come in our home, at the doctor's offices, hospitals that took such great care of her that I want to pass that on to someone else who is in need of good care.

We'll be here for you when that day comes.. most of us have been through that day.

I do live in OH right now but I am on the OH/WV border. I can look out my back door and see the WV side. Plus then I'm about 20 minutes from the PA border.

I brought my college roommate home with me one time and she was from Upstate NY. She found it so interesting that we could be in PA in about 15 minutes and then in OH in about 10.

Not much planned for me today. I need to finish up some laundry and clean the computer room. Before the kids left DR found a Monoploy game and dumped everything out! He has shoved the play money in wallets and the little houses and hotels in his cars and trucks. I think I'll be picking up and finding play money and Monoply pieces until they get back! Then head to my dad's attorney's office later in the day. My mom died in October of last year and we are still dealing with things from her will.

Hi all. Not much time here. We have already been to the eye doctor and to the pharmacy. We still have an appointment for Bug at 2. Then an appointment at 3 for Nana. I have pulled her from detasseling because her legs, face, and arms are all broke out with pus filled bumps and red blotches. It burns and itches and she could hardly move yesterday. I think it is more than just corn rash and want her out of the fields and to a doctor.
Mel-Glad it went well for you and hope the eye looks better soon.
