Good morning all :goodvibes

Strange as it sounds, puppy-breath is one of my favorite smells:rolleyes:
Seriously :scared: :rotfl2:

Oh and congrats on 13,000 posts...HOLY COW!! How do you manage to play so much golf and still have such a high post count?!?! :confused3 ;)
I go on the DIS instead of watching TV every night!

:rotfl2: Sounds like my family.... my brother invited us to Medieval Times for DNephews birthday, and then reminded me that we had to pay for ourselves. WTH?? :confused: :sad2:
That sounds more expensive than our carvery too :rotfl2:

I am really missing Disney World and looking for a place to chat up fellow Disney lovers so hopefully I can keep up with you Chatty Cathies.
Hi Parla, welcome :goodvibes

Happy 4th of July Fockers (including the non -Brit ones;) )
Would that be me? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Well I decied while I was at it I would clean the pugs too, um they were not too happy...
So cute Mo, Ellie loves pugs at the moment and she loved the photos!

Guess what color I did it?? Yep, you guessed it - a pale lime green! I'll post pics once I get the room put back together!
:rotfl2:

At least he has a "Faithful" and "Monogomoose" Relationship:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
OMG Katt :rotfl2:

It's just as well, yesterday we got a "new" couch. WTH is "new" you ask? Someone in our building was throwing theirs away and it's a nice , clean, smell free couch in better shape that the one we had...so we swapped 'em! But lucky us got to wedge it through the elevator and the doorway, and thats not a great idea with a bad back. So I am feeling it today something fierce. I intend to wear a hole in that couch today because I need the rest.
Sounds good to me, our first 2 couches were second hand, it's amazing what people chuck away! Hope your back gets better!

I'm doing the same thing today Kat...I pawned off DS onto his dad and locked myself in the family room with 2 new movies to watch...27 dresses and Juno. 1 down and 1 to go...
I cried my eyes out in 27 dresses and it's not even that sad :rotfl2:

The rains held out until about 8:00 which was great!
:thumbsup2

Ok, totally TRASHED my WW pts for today! Sheesh.
Never mind, start again tomorrow :hug: BTW who's in your siggie? A Nascar driver by any chance? :rotfl2:

I absolutely LOVED holding her but once she got fussy it was so nice to just hand her back and let mom change the diaper or feed her or figure ot what else was wrong. Mean I know but I am so glad mine are older and independent.
I love to hold babies that I can now hand back :rotfl2:

Well it's raining and we're off to Norfolk at 1pm, we're also having our new windows fitted next week so I've got to clear stuff off of the window cills and take some blinds down. Ellie hates me at the moment because I'm making her clean her bedroom so the window men can actually find the window, cruel mother aren't I :rotfl2:

t-- need. barbie. update. now. oh and :headache: on the 2.99 t-shirts , last week i ordered $115 worth of t-shirts :scared: it's for 3 kids so that 's okay , right? and i bought them for our disney trip. i got 22 tshirts- so if i would've gotten them at disney, it would've been like 22 x $20 per shirt= $440. therefore, by buying them , i actually saved $325. right? which means that now i have an extra $325 to spend at disney. :idea:

jen-- how are ya???

LL-- so if dh has a vette, you should get the vette's value in disney vacations, right?:confused3 :rotfl2:

Wow Rachel great recap, I would've had to make notes :rotfl2:

To make a flat Rachel, take a photo of yourself, stick it onto card preferably with some kind of stick attached and cover with laminating stuff (I use the clear plastic on a roll) :thumbsup2

okay i just realized my siggie says 2 months 1 week till disney. uh oh.............i only have 2 month 1 week to lose 30 lbs. better get a move on. ww buddies unite!!:laughing:
You can do it :goodvibes

Well I'm packed and most of the windows are clear, I then started cleaning and thought hang on their workmen they're not going to care and they're just going to make a mess anyway :rotfl2:

I think I've got everything for the IL's we're taking up her Mothers Day present from March, his Birthday present from May and his Father's day present from June, shows how much we see them :rotfl2:

CE where are you?????

Never mind, start again tomorrow :hug: BTW who's in your siggie? A Nascar driver by any chance? :rotfl2:

Ellie hates me at the moment because I'm making her clean her bedroom so the window men can actually find the window, cruel mother aren't I :rotfl2:

Thanks Jo. I'm not discouraged. Just thinking how EASY it was to fall off...
Yes, you might be the meanest mom in the whole world! Wanna borrow my sign? That's a joke with me and my girlfriends. Whenever one of our kids would say we were the meanest, we'd call the other and and say, "It's my turn to put the sign out front..." :laughing:

Rachel: I'm awake, I'm awake!!!
Yep. The points were MASSIVE. I'm not sure I want to even GO to Fatsecret and try to put them on there! Should I? Feels like cheating if I don't....
I think CE said she'd take Flat Rachel. I'm taking Jodi and G-luv. If they get me their FLATS....;)
Oh, and I HAVE A TR.....link in my siggie!!! Going there next to update.

Hi Parla....:welcome: I'm Mel. I'm mom to two boys (oh and one husband who thinks he's a boy) and I live in MI. Glad you came on board!

Janet: Did you talk to mom? Did she meet V?
--------------

It's sunny out but COLD. It was in the 40's here last night and the night before. Where is the July weather? I'm going to make myself a cup of tea right now. It's so nice when everyone is asleep but me!!!

MEL:banana:

Good morning all :goodvibes

Would that be me? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I don't know, according to Mo you are not Brit;) :lmao:

Well it's raining and we're off to Norfolk at 1pm, we're also having our new windows fitted next week so I've got to clear stuff off of the window cills and take some blinds down. Ellie hates me at the moment because I'm making her clean her bedroom so the window men can actually find the window, cruel mother aren't I :rotfl2:

You are sooooo mean Jo:rolleyes:

Not yet...too early to call.

Right off for my "fun" weekend ;) :wave2:

Have fun Jo :goodvibes

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good Morning all. We were up late last night, so JImmy slept in --7:45:rolleyes: . He and Jim are laying in our room watching Tom & Jerry and I got kicked out of bed (no room for the 3 of us). No real plans for today. We are supposed to go to a freinds house to swim, but it is rainy and cloudy. We'll see if it clears up at all. If it doesn't we will probably just hang out here and I will do :laundy: and catch up on my Disiing. Catch you all throughout the day!

Ok, totally TRASHED my WW pts for today! Sheesh. It was going great till dh says, "I don't want to deal with Fireworks traffic. See if you can talk the kids into going to a movie and mexican." Ok. So, we agree to see Hancock (LOVE Will Smith, but skip this movie if you don't want your kids hearing ALOT of swear words!!) I loved the movie, and the mexican place was closed for the 4th! We ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings. NOT low fat.

Ugh.. I should have WARNED YOU about "Hancock" and kids... I have not heard that much "potty mouth" in a movie ever.. wasn't that PG-13:confused3

Mel, Rach..
do not beat yourselves up. That is what defeats our diets/new lifestyles . It is hard though going to Disney and having THAT FOOD..:tongue: and keeping the diet.. but all the walking helps some of that.. then we come back to our "NORMAL" lives and we have a hard time getting motivated back into fixing these "insulated bodies":rolleyes1 that we have.

So you Blow it one day.. or one week.. Hey.. Today's a new day... and Tomorrow is a NEW WEEK.. that YOU HAVE NOT BLOWN !!!:dance3:

NOW LADIES.. GET BACK IN THERE AND HAVE A CELERY STICK !!!!:goodvibes

hello everyone!!! wakey , wakey !!!!! time to rise and shine!!!!

insert>>>> snooze !!!!

Yeah Just not on Lazy Saturday's

Oddly enough my KIDS ARE STILL ASLEEP and Scott is gone..
:cloud9: Ahhh Peace and quiet..now all I need is some coffee :surfweb:

HI Janet...

I'll be back in a few .. gotta put on some coffee

Well I have a bunch of catching up to do! I was not on the Dis yesterday due to working and the 4th! We had a great day, went to the local amusement park, cooked hotdogs & hamburgers there with all the trimmings. DD did corn on the grill ..Yummy!We watched the fireworks there and while theynare not Disney they were great . Only drama DGD lost her cell phone on a ride it slipped down a small crack in the seat and they can't get it out till today, she was so upset '*** her stepdad is always on them about taking care of there things well after his usual rant he was the one helping us locate it and even stayed after closing to see if they could get it out!!! Now I'm going to check out the last few pages !!

AAAAHHHHH Much Better

At least he has a "Faithful" and "Monogomoose" Relationship:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
:lmao:
OMG! So cute Mo!! :cutie:
Thanks T:goodvibes
Awwww...it's so hard to find a one moose kinda guy in today's world.

Granted he's a dog, but it should give a glimmer of hope to society. We know men are dogs, but who knew they'd stay faithful when a younger moose is thrown their way.

Makes me feel a bit better with my 40th coming up and my mid-life crisis hubby always out driving around in a Corvette...:lmao:
You know you make a great point.

And I so agree about puppy breath:lovestruc

\Mo - The pugs look like Tink when she gets a bath - NOT HAPPY!

YOu could post a pic too....

My cousin used to have a dog like that. It was scary. If you weren't paying attention and got too close during his "personal time" he would try to bite you.

HI Parla, welcom aboard this craziness.

both my boys are the least threatening thing, unless you are scared of being licked to death!
I have been know to out my hand in their mouths to get pills down. THey just stand there and are like ok whatever.

Ok, totally TRASHED my WW pts for today! !

When I did WW, I did find it helped to have one of those days sometimes, I think it jumped started my metabolism.

Would that be me? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:
Um, let me think.... that would be a YES.;)

So cute Mo, Ellie loves pugs at the moment and she loved the photos!

Give that cutie some pug hugs!

I don't know, according to Mo you are not Brit;) :lmao:

According to the facts and I just listen to the facts;)

WHERE'S CE!!!!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
So last night sucked. Namath hates loud noises, so guess who walked the floor with him. He is 18.5 lbs, my arms were hurtin'!:headache: But the poor thing was shaking from fright!
Off to Murph's today, remember the new TV, well now she wants a new stand and I get to chauffeur her around to furniture stores today. She is buying lunch though:thumbsup2
YOu could post a pic too....
Next time Jim baths her I will take a pic!
Poor puppy:hug: Tink just barked at everything last night.:headache:
HAve fun!
Well I'm allcaught up but to much to multi quote so:-
Jo Tories and Republicans aren't exactly the same but close enough! Dsis was a staunch Labor supporter so made for interesting political discussions !!:laughing:
Mo loved the Pug pix!!:love:
Any more news of Dawn??:confused3
Teenage Twin Girls !OMG what a nightmare!!:scared1: :scared1:
Have to work later till at least 8pm:eek:
Jo did Flat Rosie arrive yet? I used laminating sheets from Walmart and did all by myself , I may not be a Computor Whiz but I am a Flat Whiz!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
:confused3 What did I say ??
sorry gal's for messed up monitors( how did that happen) Cokes up and out the nose.. and anything else that might have happened.
The "monogomoose" relationship...just killed me!!:rotfl2:
Two great movies!!!! What did ya think of them?
We watched "Untraceable", pretty good. I'm just catching up on my crime drama on the DVR now.
I watched 27 Dresses - really liked it. I started Juno, but didn't get very far before I had to stop and cook dinner, etc...so I have to watch that one. Tony and I watched Vantage Point the other night...have you seen that? I really liked that. We put on Michael Clayton last night after - ahem - Tony's devil child - finally went to bed and it put me to sleep...is it even worth trying to watch again?:confused3
Ok, totally TRASHED my WW pts for today! Sheesh. It was going great till dh says, "I don't want to deal with Fireworks traffic. See if you can talk the kids into going to a movie and mexican." Ok. We ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings. NOT low fat.
Ugh, I'm so bummed I'm going to have a glass of wine. What's 2 more points at this point?
No biggie really...just start over again. There's not a whole lot I can eat at BWW...grilled chicken, but come on...who wants to eat that with the whole rest of their yummy menu staring you in the face?:confused:
Good morning all
Morning sweetie!!:goodvibes
Seriously :scared:
Yeah, seriously. Come on...who doesn't love the smell of puppy breath? Anybody? Well, anybody OTHER THAN Jo??:confused3
I cried my eyes out in 27 dresses and it's not even that sad :rotfl2:
It was a cute movie...I really liked it. Something made me sniffle...maybe her wedding at the end...but I don't think anything else made me cry:confused3
I love to hold babies that I can now hand back
Amen to that Sista!!:thumbsup2
Ellie hates me at the moment because I'm making her clean her bedroom so the window men can actually find the window, cruel mother aren't I :rotfl2:
Don't feel bad...Michael hates me for making him put jammies on last night. And actually he won that one...I got mad and walked away...
:headache:
wheww.......now i'm exhausted on catching up the last 10 pages. omg , you guys crack me up!!!!
g-luv-- hot date yet???
Seriously....Inquiring minds want to know! Does he have a website we can go to and check him out??:)
LL-- so if dh has a vette, you should get the vette's value in disney vacations, right?:confused3
Well, much to his dismay, it's OUR Vette, but believe it or not...I hate driving the thing! Yes, it's true. I loooooove being a passenger, don't get me wrong, but it's a 6 speed and I'm sorry, but I hate-hate-hate having to pay attention to what I'm doing - shift, clutch, yada yada yada...I'm a drop-it-in-Drive-and-GO kinda girl. Plus, the other thing that bugs me is that even with the seat all the way up, I can barely reach the pedals so I'm constantly stretching to get the clutch all the way in.
I'm sorry - I'm probably in the minority, but it's just no fun:rolleyes1
We bought it from my best friend. It's a 1994 and only had 17,000 miles on it when we bought it last year. She never used it anymore so decided to sell it. Well, she and I had a lot of good times in that car and I couldn't bear to let it go to a stranger, I had to keep it in the family, KWIM??:confused3
But yes, it's kind of an even swap for DH - I have the DVC points at my disposal and he thinks the Vette is "just HIS"... :car:
In hindsight though, I wish we'd gotten something else - a Mustang convertible or something we can all ride in...kind of hard for us to enjoy the Vette together when there's 3 of us...We keep talking about taking it to beach, etc...which we have done a few times, but the "drop-in" child-care place has a 4 hour maximum and we don't know too many people here so hard to find a sitter...
We keep saying someday we'll have someone to watch Michael and we'll take the Vette and go on a grown-up's only trip to WDW...Ahhhhh....:cloud9:
okay i just realized my siggie says 2 months 1 week till disney. uh oh.............i only have 2 month 1 week to lose 30 lbs. better get a move on. ww buddies unite!!:laughing:
Me too!!!
I decided yesterday that I'm going to do something all by myself today...maybe just go to the mall or possibly to the movies...I'm sticking Tony with Michael all day and later on I'm outta here!:thumbsup2
Michael was HORRIBLE yesterday...he's at this point now where EVERYTHING - absolutely everything is an argument. BIG fight with him yesterday to just go to the stinkin' grocery store...total nightmare. I fumed all day. Seriously. Ruined my entire day.
Then last night...it started again...
I tell him to pick up his toys in the living room...it's time for bed.
M - I don't wanna go to bed.
Me - Sorry. You have to go to bed. Please pick up your toys.
M - I'm not going to bed...
So this crap went on and on...Meanwhile, Tony, who has already heard what a crappy day it was, sat in his chair and said nothing.
I got mad, told Michael he had 2 minutes to clean up and I'd be back and went storming out of the house for a butt break.
So I get him upstairs a bit later, and now he doesn't want to put his jammies on. He's been in the same clothes for 2 days now because he didn't want to change and argued about it, so now I'm pissed.
He's yelling at me that he doesn't want to wear jammies, etc...so I stormed out of his room...
So he bawled.
And whined...
And then started throwing things at me/into my room across the hall (I was folding laundry). I yelled at him and then he was howling..I WANT MY DADDY
So Tony goes into his room, and Michael starts talking about me like I was freakin' Maleficient or something. :maleficen She's mean. She bosses me around...yada yada yada.
Then he goes, and I quote, "First it's forcing me to go food shopping and now it's jammies. What more is it gonna take Dad? How much more can I take??"
OMG...I LMAO...I couldn't help it...:lmao:
So my day and now night have sucked...I made a good stiff drink and we went up to watch Michael Clayton...
Immediately I was dreading getting out of bed this morning...Hmmmm...maybe I should run away and join the circus...
Nah...clowns are too scary...:eek:
But seriously...is this how life is going to be? A constant argument with my child?? What in the world do the rest of you do??:confused3
Sorry it was such a rough day LL:hug: We've all been there. Please I get that from Jimmy and he is only 4 (5 in Spetember). Take a break, do to the mall. The Disney Sotre is having a great sale...not that I am enabling or anything:rolleyes1
