I'm just sitting here this morning waiting for the DirecTV installation guy to finish up. DH bought an HD flat screen TV a few weeks ago and we're getting an upgraded HD dish installed today! Can't wait to watch the Wimbledon final in HD! That and the Olympics!!! Of course, DH is looking forward to watching all of his SciFi classics on it! :sad2:

I'm headed to the YMCA to workout later this afternoon. And then I'm going scrapbooking tonight. Otherwise, I'm just trying to keep from beating the children!

Have a great day!

Yay on the new TV! I completely forgot about the Olympics and watching it in HD. I like your goals for today...that's pretty much mine each day too. :laughing:

So, I'm back from my interview. and I basically got offered this job...just have to meet with the director of the program...working with emotionally disturbed and developmentally delayed preschoolers. We'll see. It's very intriguing!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

That is AWESOME! :woohoo:

:lmao: :lmao:

Height...tall.

Weight...skinny.

With tats and piercings. My kinda dude...smart...but walks a little on the edge.

Very sexy.

And he's technically a doctor...right?

:thumbsup2

:banana:

I'm glad things are settling down. It's great that you get to go on a special trip with the kids. :goodvibes
Hey- your BFF didn't work for Rob Lowe, right? :confused3 :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Nope, no Rob Lowe in our town.

Anyone have plans for July 4th??

We're going to a local park tomorrow night with my dad to see fireworks and then to my aunt's house on the Fourth for a cookout. You can see fireworks from her back yard so it'll be nice not to have to battle crowds.

20 pills, down the hatch! I did it! :banana:

So, I took the kiddos off at MIL's restaurant for lunch because she's keeping them through tomorrow evening so my mom can come to the hosptial. Poor Camryn got so upset and was crying and wouldn't let me go. Baylie picked her up to carry her to my MIL, and she jumped down and chased me to the door.
Oh, man. My heart was breaking. :sad1: She must be so scared and sad.
I keep telling myself this will all be over soon and everything will be so much better afterwards. :guilty:

:woohoo: on getting all the pills down. :grouphug: to you and the kiddos.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well the kids and I just got back from walking to the grocery store and Dairy Queen. Halfway through our walk Linds complained her feet were tired and I told her I was toughing her up for Disney. :laughing: The bad thing is the grocery store is on one end of town and the Dairy Queen is all the way on the other. Needless to say my kids are worn out! :woohoo:
Yeah, the TV is working nicely now! I'm loving watching Wimbledon in HD! I guess I never noticed how fuzzy the old TV was... Oh well, now to pay for it...:rotfl2:
Good job tiring out the kids! That's always a good thing, unless they're so tired that they take a long nap and then won't go to bed until 11pm. I can't let DD4 take a nap anymore, or else she's up really late! :scared1: So the goal is to get her tired enough to go to bed at 7:30!:banana:
In case I don't get the chance tomorrow, Good luck with the surgery Dawn! I am sure everything will be fine and you will be feeling great in no time! :goodvibes
That sounds so nice. The kids will be here with my mom, so they are supposed to watch the fireworks from our yard too. The local station has music set to match the fireworks on too.
I'm worn out reading about all that walking! ;) I love DQ's tropical blizzard. Yum-o!
:hug: Oh sweety this just breaks my heart. Keep your spirit up and remember you are going to feel like your old self again real soon. The kids are scared but remember they are will be with people who love them during this whole thing. You need to rest and remember we are here when you need us. You did a great job of making sure everyone else is cared for during this, now you need to just take care of you. :hug:
It means instead of making ADR's 6 months out you will only be able to do them 3 months out!
::yes::
Why is that good? :confused3 I'm still lost. :rolleyes:
I can't say for anyone else, but for locals (and I'm close enough to that), it means maybe being able to have dinner within WDW without planning it 6 months in advance. I only occasionally plan my longer trips more than 3 months in advance, and never my day trips. So, since the 180-day rule was instituted, I've wound up being shut out of restaurants a LOT. :sad2:
I keep telling myself this will all be over soon and everything will be so much better afterwards. :guilty:
Absolutely! :hug: I'll be thinking about you tomorrow.
The bad thing is the grocery store is on one end of town and the Dairy Queen is all the way on the other. Needless to say my kids are worn out! :woohoo:
Best way to have them before bed! :rotfl:
Wow what a load of chatterboxes!!!
Suddenly we realize who the real talker is. :lmao:
Hey :rotfl:
1300 posts...
If I live to be 60 I might just make 13,000.
How to you have time for Golf, Kids activities, House work.. And Sneezing....Thanks Rosie I had completely forgotten about that one... AND DISNEY.. I mean WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO for 2 weeks whilst you are on Holiday. ?:rotfl: What are YOU going to do... Have you ever sat down and figured out your "Daily Average "
You'll be at 13,000 before you know it and housework???? Kids stuff??? Sneezing??? What are those? :rotfl2:
Day number two of no food... the world is looking bleak. I think I might chew on my mouse cord in a few minutes.
Not many more hours now Dawn :hug:
Happy 13,000 Jo!!! <<sniff sniff>> and you posted it with us!
I know :rotfl2: And the puppy is eating your new furniture :eek:
Yes, it'll just be little ol' quiet me and Katt, who doesn't talk much either...
Nope you two don't chat much at all :rolleyes1
Here is a picture of Jimmy's injury:
Poor thing, is he proud of it?
My hearing aid is broke....:headache: they had to send it back to the factory---she said they made it so small to fit my ear that the material was too thin...
I am NOT happy
I was just thinking the other day how it was, what a pain, at least it's under guarrantee!
*beep, beep* Quick drive-by!
Hi Fockers!!! Miss you all! :hug:
Miss you too T!
Yeah T and we also need Barbie updates too
.
You beat me to it, LY Janet :rotfl2:
To all the answer to my Brit. History question is my home town!! Jo should get it now!! He was made to sign at Runnymede!!:thumbsup2
Just got back from taking Steph for bloodwork which is a nightmare she is petrified of needles and cuts up so much it's awful !! But it;s done , still trying to figure out why I always get stuck doing it!!:confused3
Must be Bury then :thumbsup2 Sorry Rosie is Steph a GDD or pet?
Jo, I'm watching Wimbledon right now, but it's raining. Is it raining at your house, too?
It was about lunchtime for several hours, stopped about 3 hours ago though, did you see that I posted that I went to Wimbledon a few years ago :thumbsup2
Happy days are here again....
Looks like WDW might be going back to the old 90-day ADR system! click here
That'll be so much better!
Things with my divorce settlement have seemed to slow down a bit. :headache: The thing now that has me kind of down is that stupid ex hasn't even bothered to call his kids for 2 weeks. Yeah great...send me money but call them as well! I can't complain too much since they really don't ask about him or even mind him not calling. It just hurts me knowing what wonderful kids we have and he's missing out on so much! :sad2:
You would think he'd want to speak/see them :sad2:
Jo - congrats on post # 13,000! I guess if I de-lurked a bit more, I could boost my post count... :confused3
It certainly would, I obviously can't just lurk :rotfl2: Have fun with the new TV!
So, I'm back from my interview. and I basically got offered this job...just have to meet with the director of the program...working with emotionally disturbed and developmentally delayed preschoolers. We'll see. It's very intriguing!
That's fantastic, do you want it?
They won't pick it up unless it's more than 20 bags of clothing!!! OMG!!
What????? A couple of times a month sometimes more we get a plastic sack though our door which asks you to fill with clothes, books etc and they come and pick it up a few days later and sell for charity :thumbsup2
Actually it is going to FINALLY be finished soon. I was on a no-computer hiatus and then I went and got sick...REALLY sick. But I'm better!
Glad you're much better now :hug:
20 pills, down the hatch! I did it!
Wooohoooo that's fantastic Dawn, hope you're not on the loo too much and I'm sorry how DD was, I'm sure she'll be fine now though :hug:
Well the campfire was fun, lots of singing and eating and kids spilling food and drinks :rotfl2: I also found out today that I managed to get a free ticket to the European Golf Open tomorrow, it's being held at the London Club which is about 15 minutes away so I'm going with a few of my golfing girls :thumbsup2
Good Luck on your Interview Jen!! Hope it goes well and YAHOO on the Dr. #. He probably thought you fed the dog cookies on purpose....:rotfl:
Kidding...lol
:laughing:
Hey...I wouldn't do that...:rolleyes1
I'm trying to read through posts as I take these pills. OMGosh, it's so hard not to let the nausea get to me. I HAVE to hold these pills down. I'm on #11 out of 20 right now. :guilty:
:hug:
It's so great to have something you really enjoy to do everyday, isn't it? :goodvibes On behalf of mommas everywhere, I say thank you for doing a job that's so necessary and valuable for our kids. :hug:
I think these pills are making me mushy. ;)
Awwww...your pills are making me mushy too! ;)
Yeah, Jen2. :idea: Maybe he can show you "around town". :lmao:
Ooooohhhh...I'll fake not knowing my way around! :lmao:
And you're right. It will all be over soon. And think of how much better you will feel...and you won't be missing out on any time with the kiddos due to being ill.
:hug:
Nope. I'm not on the "loo", Jo. :rotfl: It's actually not bad at all (probably b/c I haven't eaten anything in a while). The pills was the horrible part.
Loo... That's a funny word. Why does it sound so much more proper tahn anything we say? ;)
Good luck on whatever you decide. :hug:
I'll be logging off soon, good luck tomorrow Dawn, I'll be thinking about you :hug: :hug: :hug:
Jo, those SSE pics are hilarious! I love the Mike W. one personally!
Dawn, only a few more hours... do you think you'll be able to sleep tonight? I'll pray for peace for both you and your DH and the kids as well!
Jen, glad to hear the interview went well and I think you should call the vet. Sounds like a good catch!
Oh No No No... Great meet, LY/MI:hug: JUst planning for the LONG TIME OUT FUTURE.. say 40 years or so :rotfl2:
What is this.. ?? Why ????
I didn't say much about it before vacation because I didn't want to think about it. When I saw Dr. Seigle the week before we left he said that (in normal people words) the hole he cut into my right eye is closed up. If it is scarred on the outside part, he can needle it in the office and I'll have a week or two of no swimming, lifting or bending. If it's middle or inside scarring, I will be in surgery again. They can't reopen the existing hole, so they need to cut a new one. Without doing it the pressure will just continue to increase until I lose all vision. And as you guys know, I don't have any to lose.
I'm scared out of my mind. It's a huge surgery. I swore I'd die last time. I really don't want to do it again. Maybe it will be good news though. I'm seeing him on July 22nd for the needling.
:sad2:
OH no Mel,:hug: Hopefully you can avoid the surgery.
Jo - that Stitch SSE, well, it just scares me:scared1:
Dawn, good luck tomorrow:hug:
Well, I updated my TR again...I wasn't going to do it until tomorrow...but some things have transpired...
Little Kinzee Faith...supposed faker Kinzee Faith...is not doing so hot. And I want to take her to see my hometown vet...that I trust. So, instead of leaving on Friday to go "home" for the 4th, we're leaving at 6:00 in the morning. OMG!
Kinzee is still screaming when I touch her...and isn't wanting to get up and around.
good news is...Dr. hottie called. I'm not sure about him yet...we have a lot of "differences"...need more phone calls. He wants to go out when I get back to Albuquerque next week.
I didn't tell him about Kinzee...because I don't trust him as far as I can throw him...since I now think he's a quack.
But, anywho...
The update is up. Enjoy gals!
I hope so. I get tired easily, and I didn't rest today, so I'm be tired tonight.
Thank you, Jodi. :hug:
Oh no! How can you trust him with a relationship if he's not a good vet? I would be leery now. Good luck with both the puppy and the vet. I'll be watching for updates. ;)
Here's some :hug: :hug: :hug: for Dawn & Mel & for you too Jen!
I spoke to Z on AIM today..she's good but we talk too much!
