:lmao: :lmao: Eww!! Reminds me of Adam Sandler in Big Daddy when he tells his ex good luck sleeping with the old man with his old b@lls! :lmao:

I looooove that movie. And I use that line all the time.

I have a friend (who shall remain nameless) who is dating a somewhat older fellow! and she hates it when I quote Adam on her! ;)

Thanks you guys! I missed Dawn to say :hug: !!
:goodvibes I got it! Thank you, Mel. :hug:

Good Luck with the surgery Dawn!1:flower3:
Thank you, Rosie. :hug:

Hi girls! :wave2:

It's been a busy week in Barbieville! It was Alabaster Skin Barbie's birthday and the Dr. gave her a Botox session. When she came out, I told her she looked like someone hit her in the forehead with a paintball gun! :lmao: I have found an ally in the other Front office girl. She's a complete riot and we're on the same wavelength. She even gave me the "FOCKER" today when I told her I thought hand counting inventory was moronic! :rotfl:

Before I forget... DAWN, good luck with the surgery! :hug:
:lmao: For the Barbie story. And, :hug: for the good wishes.

Dawn - Good Luck tomorrow! :hug:
Thank you!!! :goodvibes :hug:

Unfortunately yes OR I could get a facial with silk peel. I think I'll opt for the silk peel. We are having a Botox party on the 23rd. Should be interesting... I can't WAIT for that day! Dangnabit! Wish I could sneak some pics!:rotfl:
I wish you could too! At least give us a before and after picture on you! ::yes::

So here's the story on my new "friend" at work. She's 34, her DH is 54. They met when she was 21 and he was 41. Her step-daughter used to be her BF. ::yes:: you read that right... she married her BF's dad! :lmao: I told her we needed to go to Happy Hour so I could get the whole story! :teeth:
Wowie! :eek: That's good dirt! We need the Paul Harvey too! :banana:

I talked to my vet in clovis tonight. The vet I know and trust. She says from Kinzee's symptoms...it seems like she either has a slipped or pinched disc. So, she had me give her some of Jon's steroids...to relieve some of the inflamation. Hopefully, she'll start to feel better and then we see the doc in the morning.
I'm glad you got something to help puppy until you see the vet tomorrow.

Just had to share my good news with all of my Focker friends. I got an email from Air Tran today telling me that my flight schedule had changed for our October trip to WDW. I was a bit worried because we were already supposed to arrive in Orlando at 6:43pm and I didn't want to arrive much later. Anyway, I opened the email and here's what it said....

Flight Information

OCTOBER 18, 2008, Flight 397
From: Indianapolis (IND) / Departing: 12:47PM
To: Orlando (MCO) / Arriving: 2:56PM

Yay!!!! :banana: :cool1: :yay:

Instead of arriving at 6:43pm, we're now arriving at 2:56PM!!!! That means almost four more hours at my happy place! And it also means that the girls will be able to see the resort before we make them go to bed! We're staying our first night (Saturday) at All Star Movies before we go "home" to OKW on Sunday. Originally we thought it would pretty much be straight to bed when we arrived, but now, we'll have time to explore, swim, maybe even go to DTD!!!

I just had to share my excitement with people who understand. Normally DH would be excited too, but he's more excited about the new HD satellite service we got today! :headache: Every time I tried to explain to him that we had four more hours at Disney, he would respond with... "can you believe how clear this picture is? This is awesome!" Men.... I just don't get it....:confused3 :lmao:

You need to sneakily set up a web cam so we can just watch all day ::yes::

:woohoo: I am annoyed at Air Tran right now, they moved up my return flight 2 1/2 hours:headache:

:sad1: I wonder if they have sarted Dawn's Surgery ?:guilty:

I think she had to be at the hospital at 7:00am...I don't know what the time difference is between here and Texas...Where's TE she'd know!

Good Morning all. At work where they have already told us we are getting out early:woohoo:Only 2 hours early, but it's better than nothing:thumbsup2
After I leave here I have to go food shopping to get all the stuff we need for a BBQ tomorrow.

What are everyone's plans for the holiday weekend?

I just woke up, Katt! Ha, I'm a lazy bones.

I was wondering about Dawn too. Hope you guys hear something soon. I'm going to sit down on the couch and read some more of the Boleyn Inheritance. I swear it's never taken me this long to finish a book. Too much Dis'ing. I have a house full of boys (Mine and sleepovers) and I'm making Belgian Waffles when they wake up. Topped with strawberries and whipped cream (that's fatfree coolwhip for me and ds though.)

How's everyone doing this morning?

JEN: Poor Kinzie. Glad you can give her some meds to help. If the vet doesn't love Disney, you can do better! :thumbsup2

MEL:banana:

Good morning Fockers!
Daen will be thinking of you this morning!
Off to work again so will catch up with the days chatter later !!
July 4th I am working till 2 pm then we are headed to a local amusement park where we'll have a Cook out and watch the fireworks, then I have to work saturday butt DD is on vacation for a week!!

I didn't say much about it before vacation because I didn't want to think about it.
Oh Mel - I know we're not supposed to be thinking about it (a philosophy to which I also subscrube!), but I need to give you this! :hug:

Little Kinzee Faith...supposed faker Kinzee Faith...is not doing so hot.
I'm sorry Jen. And feeling rather guilty about laughing yesterday. :guilty:
good news is...Dr. hottie called. I'm not sure about him yet...we have a lot of "differences"...need more phone calls. He wants to go out when I get back to Albuquerque next week.
Yay! Okay, I'm clearly going to need to broach the subject of finding dates on here soon. No joke, I've had NO interested parties in 5 years... what am I doing wrong?!?!?

It was Alabaster Skin Barbie's birthday and the Dr. gave her a Botox session. When she came out, I told her she looked like someone hit her in the forehead with a paintball gun!
Oh no you di'int?!? :rotfl2:

Lucky Janet! I've heard no such news at my office... and my boss is out so I'm manning the ship in the midst of chaos in the press (we handle PR). :headache:

Dawn: I know you're not online, but I'll be gone before you get back here, so, hope the recovery is quick and easy! :hug:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well Fockers, my very favorite holiday is quickly approaching! And since I won't be near a computer tomorrow, I'll share my love for the 4th with you today. (I know - you can barely contain your excitement. :rolleyes: )
WHY I LOVE INDEPENDENCE DAY...
I'm one of the most patriotic people I know. Which is often surprising to those who know my stand on some major, and minor, issues: I tend toward the left of the political spectrum; I'm staunchly pro-gun control; I'm atheist and a firm supporter of separation of church and state; I think the position of President is merely a figurehead role, and it's unlikely we'll ever get someone who really knows what they're doing in there - ditto for most of congress; I love France; I think we have one of the ugliest flags in the world; I think what we've done to the English language is an abomination; I hate BBQ and am only wishy-washy on apple pie. And I prefer cats to dogs.
But here's why I love my country: I get to say all of those things. Out loud. In print. Without fear of persecution. I'm not only allowed to be critical of my elected leaders - my governing document charges me with this task! And I love that I can be, and am, friends with people whose views are completely different than my own.
I sure don't think we're the ideal nation, and I think we still have a LOT of work to do around here. But tomorrow, when I pull my dog-eared and coffee stained copy of the Consitution out for my annual reading, I'll be reminded that the best thing about the United States of America is the ability we have as citizens to bring about change through our words, our actions and our votes.
So tomorrow I'll hoist my colours, despite not being a fan of the red, white & blue combo, and take a day off from stressing over what we're doing wrong as a nation. The 4th is my day to think about all the things we've gotten right and about the good things yet to come. THAT's what I love about Independence Day. :goodvibes
Well, that and fireworks. V loves things that go "BANG!" ;)
Happy 4th all! :grouphug:
Hi Mel and Rosie :wave2:
V - That was just beautiful...it gave me goosbumps. As I read that I realize we have some things in common and some we don't, but I still think we are going to be good friends:thumbsup2
Are you leaving tonight or tomorrow morning for the Motherland? Mom is defiitely working tomorrow so be prepared to be fussed over:thumbsup2
I was just thinking the other day how it was, what a pain, at least it's under guarrantee!
yes, I miss it---I'm smiling and nodding a lot.....or just ignoring! :rolleyes:
Pinched from the UK CB, what do you think of the new SSE designs?????
I vote for Mike! :lmao:
TE why do we have to write BIG for you to hear????:confused3
Cause Katt is making fun of the hearing impaired! :snooty:
I think she had to be at the hospital at 7:00am...I don't know what the time difference is between here and Texas...Where's TE she'd know!
It's an hour earlier there---right now only 8:30 am.
<<sending up a prayer as she's probably in surgery right now>>
+++++++++++++++++++
Decided not to work today (love flexible scheduling)--but I had worked Sun and Mon to finish the month end stuff and July looks like a long month. Plus BA is at 4-H camp next week and I can work without worrying about her.
..............pup check.......chewing bone........we found out that Ab's friend bought Bear's brother so we're gonna have a play group soon! :goodvibes His name is Tucker.
V---enjoyed your 4th review! And whilst I lean the opposite way on political, religious, and BBQ views (kind of in the middle on cats ;) ), I certainly share your view on the right to express them! And I am decorating and wearing red/white/blue, going to see fireworks, and spending some quality time with the family....which may end in more fireworks!
V- DITTO! ALL OF IT! Truly written by an American! Have a safe and fun trip!
Hello to all of my Focker Friends!
I have been reading somewhat-along, but I am still a bit lost. Sorry for that. I have a WDW conundrum which I need some help with. We are going over Thanksgiving- the following week to WDW. I booked us at POP for the entire stay with plans to move us to Poly after the Holiday Rack rates were over. After reading and talking to other Disney friends I am feeling that I should skip the POLY and move to the WL, since this may be our only Christmas visit and the WL will really "feel" like Christmas. What do you think? Go for POLY? GO for WL?
What are everyone's plans for the holiday weekend?
We'll probably go to the "Fireworks display" in one of our towns here.
In some areas here you could actually see 3 going on at the same time.
I have my canister in the freezer and I'll be making some "Homemade French Vanilla IceCream" later today.
And .. Uh.... Set off some of the "REAL FIREWORKS" I got whilst in North Carolina... shhhhh;)
I just woke up, Katt! Ha, I'm a lazy bones.
I was wondering about Dawn too. Hope you guys hear something soon.
I could not sleep last night. Woke up too early... but I had to be up to take Joshua for a "INITAL" Braces Consult. at 8:00.
Went O.K. He needs to get his "Dental Hygeine" in better shape.. Not sure if we are going to "Pull" or just Move his teeth or if he will be able to handle ANY OF IT.:sad2:
V, completely on the other end of the political spectrum from you but agree that the reason this country is the best is that I can say that.
I'm proud to be an American.
Hmm....me thinks I'll get the ice cream maker out too!
We had dental day yesterday---Ab had a regular dentist appt which she did not want to go too........after the visit she was all "Miss Perky"----turns out the dentist's son had just graduated from dental school and did her teeth.:rolleyes: He set up a schedule to whiten her teeth, cosmetically build up a smaller tooth (that the orthodontist had left room to do), and commented on her "great smile"
So, she likes dentists now!
BA went to the orthodontist--he put a new wire, power chain, and will put some bottom brackets on next time. She is doing good with them.
How is T doing with her spacers???
Poly is my dream place so I always vote for that (course I haven't stayed in either one). We really liked POR, FWIW if you need a moderate.
Seldom do I advise skipping the Poly for any reason, but... this is one of those times! The WL during the holidays is just magnificent. Truly amazing. And one of my favorite things about the Poly is its pool/beach/outdoor life. ALl fo which could be severlely curtailed by a cold front that time of year. The WL, in contrast, is perfectly wonderful even without using the pool or beach. :thumbsup2
And .. Uh.... Set off some of the "REAL FIREWORKS" I got whilst in North Carolina... shhhhh;)
LOL! People have been setting them off around here for days. They have to sign something saying the fireworks are only being used to kill crows or something, so it would seem we have some sort of bird infestation. :rolleyes:
And that's why I just love ya, V! I tend to hover somewhere in the middle, finding myself less of a Liberal than I initially thought. :confused3 We do have lot in common, but I completely appreciate the fact that our views are not identical and that's OK! :hug:
