He's fine...I'm more upset than he is. After all that happened he and Jim painted some pictures and then he helped Jim make dinner. He just finished watching Star Wars and is now watching Toy Story 2

Dinner was good. Hot dogs and beans are just about the easiest dinner you can make, I think. My oldest went to see Wall E with his buds and then to one's house for dinner. I said, "I'm going to cook for the first time in 11 days and you don't want to eat at home????" He said, "Uh Mom, it's pretty much re-heating not cooking. Mrs. W is making ribs. She's actually COOKING them."
Harumph.
Dang ungrateful kids.

I'm with you Mel... I drug myself out of bed to make a pretty simple 2 pan meal. Deep Dish Taco's.. only reason it takes two is I need to brown the hamburger. Then use a cookie sheet.

Sara looks at me and says .. "can you take me to Arby's" ?

Well I finally gave in to all the nagging and allowed the girls to put the pool up, it's an 8 foot circular pool and about 3 foot deep, so took forever to fill, it's 8pm and they're in it now, it's freezing too I bet it will rain tomorrow though

Awwww...what a good mommy! And my kids did the same thing this morning. My DD came down in her swimsuit and headed right out to the kiddie pool in the back yard. The water was probably FREEZINgG but she didn't care.

Looks like a really nice wedding, was it in a park or on someone's property?

Ok here's the Rice Cream Recipe...

The wedding was on a farm out in the middle of nowhere. The bride was looking for a B&B in her area to go to for a weekend and the farm came up in her search. Its about 20 minutes from their house and she went to take a look at it and fell in love with it. The farm house was HUGE and I think she said was on like 300 acres. If the people were to sell it it would be worth like 1.3-1.5 million dollars.

And thanks for the rice cream recipe. It looks soooooo good and I really liked it when we had it in Norway last year.

Hi ladies, I am home from work...and what do I come home to but Jimmy with a huge lump on his head and a cut under his eye He wanted something of of the shelf in his room so he climbed the bookshelf, and tried to get it down. By doing that he pulled the shelf down, bonked himself in the head and put a cut over the bridge of his noe and under his eye. Jim called our neighboir who is a paramedica and he came and cleaned it up. No stitched needed (Thanks goodness) I would like to point out that these things always happen when I am NOT home. Jim broke Jimmy's leg when I was at work and he was home with him . Carrying him down the basement steps, lost his footing (in slippers I told him 2 weeks before to throw out ) and fell. He rolled to try and prtect Jimmy and slammed his leg into the railing

On the shelf were 3 limited edition Disney Bobbleheads

So.....how is everyone elses day

I recently had this avatar made by CatOTigger...she's so great at these (she calls them Cat-O-Tars)

I am childless...I just have my 2 dogs. One is an adult terrier/chihuahua mix, and the other is only about 10 weeks old and a GREAT DANE! I live near New Orleans.

OOh, fun stuff! Don't you totally miss it? I get SO depressed after I come back home!

Actually he is just a poor unsuspecting guy I saw while waiting for the Indy Stunt show to start.
We have hit a habit while in Disney... to do some "People Watching"

And he was a keeper.

I went for a pedi with my bestest bud meeska last week.

The pedicure technician (Is that what they're called???) saw my tattoo that meeska and I got after our last trip. The pineapple with the mickey head.

She kept looking at my tattoo...then she tried scrubbing something off of my foot...it was my hidden mickey head hidden in my pineapple.

I have another interview tomorrow. wish me luck! To celebrate my moving I went and bought some new clothes today!

We also hit the Disney Store. They have their t-shirts on sale. I got one as did JOn.
