Hi I am Kathy...

In my real life I am an Insurance Agent by day.. and Singer/Actress/Director/Choreographer by night. I have a passion for Music and Theatre... I perform quite frequently.. which is why shy is not something most people associate with me!! ...When I am not on stage, I am found off stage telling other people what to do when they are onstage!! LOL!! This unfortunate habit prevents me from doing more races... (i.e., Minnie 2008!!! ) Alas, the sun will come out tomorrow (I am doing a production of "Annie") and I will be at whatever run arises afterwards.. can we say.. Race For The Taste????

Yes, that's the new thread for now, until they decide to start another one.

I'll do my bio in a little bit. I've got melting groceries sitting on my counter right now. I've got to stop reading, and go put them away. I just can't pull myself away.

Hi Team 2!

Thanks Kathy for starting this thread - the other one is already so long I don't think I could catch up.

I will have to wait until a bit later to really introduce myself - its going to be a long day at the office and I just wanted to take a little break. But, seeing as we need a name sooner rather than later, I figured I would add one more suggestion. I'd like to take Anne's suggestion of Fast Pass and add a little to suggest Fast Passers.

I also still like Experiment 626 (of course, I was the one who suggested it - I love Stich) and I also like People Movers (even though the unfortunate nickname may result).

Ok, not to confuse everything BUT what about Rockin' Runners? My daughter just got home from school and asked me a question about Rock N Rollercoaster, and it made me start thinking.

Actually, I am a real "go with the flow" kind of gal, so I will be happy with whatever name we choose.

My vote is for Fast Passers - liked Fast Pass when I saw it, liked Fast Passers even better!

I'll do a quick intro without pics for now... I'm Jackie, 45 years old, started running in Feb '06 when I heard about the first Minnie 5K/15K. Thought I could probably run a 5K and it seemed like a good excuse for another trip to WDW. Then I found WISH and I kept running! I'm the admin supervisor for the local branch of an international garage door company, wife and mom to DD17 and a 7yr old lab/chow named Mystic.

Am really looking forward to being part of Team Two! I get double credit for everything I do this year - we have a wellness program at work and we get points for minutes exercised and are tracking miles walked/run - there's actual cash at the end of the year!

I'm getting dinner ready, so I'll do a more formal intro later.

Cindy, I really like the Fast Passers name and I love Stitch, too. In deference to Stitch, we could be The Abominations or The Blue Dogs or Team Abomination or something along those lines.

As for me.... I'm good with any of it.

Whoops, just read some more and it seems we are headed towards Fast Passers, so how about..... Fast Passers... We keep on movin' or Team Fast Passers.... Passing on your left. Let's see.... Can you tell I love tag lines? Team Fast Pass...Moving to the front of the line. Nothing's gonna stop us now.

I am not computer savvy, but we'd have to change Donald (looks likes the other team's Donald) and add the "er" to the end. Of course, we don't HAVE to use this one. Whatever the team wants. I'll keep looking for images.

I just ran my first Marathon and can't wait to attempt the Goofy in 09.

As far as an introduction...I'm ONE of the oldest in this group, however that is not to say any wisdom has come to me. We've lived in north Florida for the last two years, where DH is an IT manager. I'm a former educator. We have three children, no grandchildren. We joined up with WISH in Jan 06 and you've been stuck with us since. When I found out that walking the half at WDW was a definite doable thing, I signed up and DH came along for support. I'm just a walker, not a race or power, just a walker. DH does R/W and has to wait 30 minutes at the finish line for me!
