I have the first two periods done with one page skipped between them. Before I add any more classes should I tear the second group out and skip more then one page? Would this be bad to do since the pages are numbered?
BTW - I am not loving my CT placement. He is very regimented, doesn't want to release his class at all and when he does he is expecting me to do exactly what he does. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. FWIW his students mostly love him and do well so he's doing something right.
What did you do? My supervisor said to do whatever he wants and I agree as it is his house his rules. I'm a guest. However, it is difficult as I am supposed to be doing certain things when I"m being observed. They have told me to do what he likes and then differentiate what I'd do differently in my plans.Been there done that!
My CT doesn't want me to use his computerized program. He won't give me access to it.
What he does is students fill out work packet day one, day two is lecture and note taking from notes on overhead. Day three is another workpacket.... At the end of the unit is a movie and review packet, then class review. All worksheets and notes are numbered and coordinate to matching numbers in review packet and on tests. The final will include a study guide that fits with all the numbered earlier work. I will be leaving when the students still have 2 1/2 months left and he wants them on that same page when I leave so he can jump right in and give them the same file with the same review packet.

CT hates DI but he doesn't realize he does alot of it naturally. He is a good teacher. Just not a good choice to place a student teacher with. He really really doesn't want to release control and I"m a week behind everybody getting started. Alot of them were given more then one period the second week.
