So I have to thank the disboards for a WONDERFUL trip I just had at WDW! Now for the great tip that I have to give back! Turns out that if you go to each of the parks and let them know that you are a teacher, each park will give you some goodies! I got coloring books and stuff from Epcot, TONS of stickers from MK, HS gave me bouncy balls that they shoot out during the parade, and Ak gave me passports for each of my kids and coloring pages that I can copy at school. Now I teach Kindergarten and they loved all the goodies!
Don't be afraid to ask!

Wow, how cool!

Two questions though:
1) Where in the parks do you ask?

2) Is there anything appropriate for high school?

Sounds great! I teach 4K and would love to bring back goodies for my new class next year! I have the same question-who do you ask and where?
Thanks again for the tip!!!!!:thumbsup2

Wonderful, I work with children in special ed., please give us a little more information on this!! :worship:

I would like to know where to get all of these goodies. Do you have to show your work ID? :confused3 Please respond with the answers. I teach Kindergarten and I know my students would love to pick these things out of the treasure box. :yay:

Thanks for the post

I went to guest relations at each park and asked there. I didnt have to show ID or anything! The stuff that they gave me was pretty much geared for K-3 but it doesnt hurt to ask if they have anything for the older groups. I hope this answers your questions. Sorry for the delay!

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately, I just got back from a trip in February. I'll keep that in mind for next year's trip! I think even my middle school students would like things like stickers, haha.

Great to know!! Thanks so much!

Wow, what a great tip. We'll have to pick up stuff for dhs 2nd grade class. Thanks! :goodvibes

How did you ask? Hi I'm a teacher do you have any stuff?
I am not being flip, I really want to know since I am bad at asking things! I can request with the best of them online through email etc--we teachers need to be creative in how to get things on a tight budget, but I can't form the thoughts on how to ask at Guest relations and don't want to come off like a dope!

oh what a great tip..I will be a brand new teacher in the fall and what better way to start off my very first year than to hand out WDW stuff to my kiddos!

I love to get free stuff:goodvibes Especially when I can possibly use it in my classroom and it involves Disney!:woohoo: Thank you for tip!
