Teachers, I need help finding Disney stuff for my classroom

I'm planning to do a Disney theme (some-what) next year. I already know for my bulletin board at the beginning of the year - I want to do UP, with the house and staple blown-up balloons to the board to look like it is pulling the house up like in the movie. Title probably will be "Look who's flown UP to 2nd Grade!"

Love the UP bulletin board idea! I'm planning a Mickey/Minnie theme for my room next year. I went on Etsy and found someone who could make me lots of the cricut mickey and minnie head shapes that I plan to use in lots of different ways. I'm going to use lots of reds/ yellow/ black along with polka dots to tie everything together without trying to go too overboard. I hope my room turns out as cute as the picture in my head.

I teach 4th grade and I did a Mickey Mouse theme this year. I covered the bulletin boards in red and yellow fabric and added a polka dot border. For our lunch count/attendance each student has a mickey head magnet with their name on it. Their locker tags are Mickey ears with their names "embroidered" on them. I have Walt Disney quotes in cartoon bubbles across the front of the room. Our helper board is called "Our Helping Hands" each job is written across a Mickey Hand. The stool I use has a cushion covered in Mickey fabric from Hobby Lobby. You get the idea. I am lucky, I have a cricut and the Mickey cartridge. I was worried that my students would think that the decor was babyish so I made sure to explain my love of Mickey. After that, I was showered with Mickey Mouse pictures, stuffed animals and other little goodies and all of my students were eager to share their love of Disney as well. Have fun decorating!

I teach Kindergarten and Disney was my theme. This was my second year using it for a theme and all my kids loved it! I went a bit overboard but I loved it., here are some things I did

For borders; I punched out yellow/black/red mickey heads. I used a red border (From school store) and did a pattern of yellow/black. I also used a yellow border (from school store) and did a pattern of red/black

For behavior I had "Green Mickey" "Yellow Mickey" and "Red Mickey" which was mickey heads.

Everything i did in my classroom; whether it was paper, background paper, i used either red/black/yellow.

I painted a dowel black and glued an athena topper on it for a pointer.

Each table was a group "Mickey Table" "Donaly Table" etc. I taped down a picture in the middle of the tables.

For my line up squares, i cut out Mickey Footprints and they lined up on them.

I used my old Disney mugs for decorations

I painted a paint stick black and taped clip art of a mickey hand on the end, they used this to raise their hand.

On their cubies, i used a Mickey Head with a number on it for labeling.

For the beginning of year, i cut out Mickey Ears and wrote their names on it.

I had my sister-in-law paint a picture of "Mickey and the Gang" and wrote "Welcome to Our Clubhouse".

Our school theme was circus, so I had a picture of Mickey dressed as a ringleader and it said "The Greatest Classroom on Earth"

I did lots more but that's what I can think of right now. I am looking to see if I have pictures so I can post them

I teach in Houston and the fire marshall made us remove all fabric bulletin board backings from the wall this year... in March. No fun at all.

Other than that, for me, I wouldn't want a Disney themed classroom. Disney is something that I don't associate with working. It is my personal passion.

Check the dollar section at Target, they always seem to have a good assortment of Disney items. You could also find some cute vinyl wall stickers online at Wallpops or a similar site.

When I first came to 4th grade (1996) I used 101 Dalmatians. It was a generic Dalmatians theme I found in current issue of Mailbox. "You've been SPOTTED in Mrs ----- Class". I made it Disney. I've used Pirates, DCL (setting sail for a great year".) It's lots of traditional themes tweaked towards Disney. I go back and forth. I'm doing 101 D again this "fall"(we start back Aug 5th!). I divide my class into heterogenous groups for friendly incentives. ( The Incredible's - use your gifts; Nemo- Just keep swimming; Meet the Robinsons - Keep moving forward; Buzz Lightyear - to infinity and beyond. ) It has never been a problem.

Hi everyone! I am a Kindergarten teacher and this will be my third year teaching. I am a HUGE Disney lover and want to do my whole classroom Disney themed. Has anyone did a Disney themed classroom before and if so I would love pictures so I can have a good visual. Also anyone have any ideas??

Hey I teach Pre-K at my church and have decorated it in Disney for years. One of the things I use a lot of is the paint chip samples from Home Depot but when I was in last month buying paint I went to grab a few a they said they longer carry the Disney Paint!!! This is what I use for counting each day of the school year, and of course this year we have added 14 extra days, and we place them on our letter of the week after we are done with it. Does anyone know if this is just our Home Depot or all of them AND has anyone else picked them up?

Some of the things I have done for decorations is I bought a CD of Disney clip art, printed them out for patterns and then used the patterns to make name tags for their baskets that look like MM ear hats, MM balloons with the kids names on them for the bulletin board for the first week of school. I have bought posters like Winnie the Pooh and Friends reading a book and the poster says Love to Read. I bought a poster of Mickey Mouse, cut him out, and then laminated it and then made some Mickey Mouse shaped balloons using my patterns out of construction paper with the colors written on them and had him holding them. Also with the clip art CD they had a Growth Chart I printed off, they had different seasonal Mickey and Friends that I printed off to go with the calendar and I used just a generic calendar to go with it. Also I am always looking for different Mickey postcards, pictures, etc that I can cut out and laminate then use around the room.

I just bought Mickey Mouse head duct tape at ACMoore. You could probably create your own border with that. Just stick it to some sentence strips and you have homemade border.

Wow, some great ideas I'm doing a Disney classroom for the the first time this yr. Over the past 12 yrs I've done bees and apples. I got a job in a new parish, so I figured I was due for a make-over! I figured I'd start with the basics this yr and add to it every yr. So far I have bulletin boards and a couple other ideas I've just gotten off of this thread. I'm using my cricut for a lot of the labels and decorations. I'm also going to try to make those crate seats that are on Pinterest. Seems easy enough. The color scheme in my class is red, yellow, and black. For my bulletin boards I've used the solid color as the background, and then I got the polka-dot border. Very exciting!!
