For years I have been made fun of because of my Mickey obsession. I am done with peer pressure. I am going to embrace it. I would like to make name tags for my students hooks and their work. Is there any way I could have a Mickey and Minnie icon that I could easily add/edit names onto? My students change somewhat in the beginning of the year and I would like to be able to edit and change them as needed. Thank you for your help!

I would like to use either a zebra pattern Mickey and Minnie and a Mickey and Minnie black one. Thank you so much for your help!:teacher:

I'm a little confused about what you are wanting...are you wanting a Mickey/Minnie head design...which is the outline of a mickey head and is basically three circles? If so...I have some in my 4shared file. Look in the link in my signature. Then look in the "mickey head DISigns" file for plain black mickey head, a minnie with a pink or red polka dot bow or tiara, and a couple of zebra print mickey heads.

It is super easy to save them as a jpeg...then insert them into MS Word...then insert a textbox over the image to personalize them for each student using white lettering. Here is a thread with the instructions for how to do this:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2286193

For the lettering you can use the "waltograph" (the disney font) or the "minnie" or "mickey" fonts and you can find them at www.dafont.com. If you aren't familiar with downloading a font to your computer...there are instructions for how to do this in the thread I posted above.

If you aren't looking for mickey heads and want an entire image of mickey and minnie...you can find them at www.disneyclips.com or google. Then insert them into word...use the instructions in the thread above to add a box around it and your students name. Or look in my 4shared file in the "luggage tag" file for a mickey and minnie image with a blue background that you can add a name below the image of Mickey or Minnie.

Hope that helps!

Sorry, I tried to reply from my phone, but it kept kicking me off. I just want the three circles zebra mickey and minnie. I thought if I could add their names to that would be helpful. I wasn't sure how to explain it though and I guess I didn't do a good job of it. That is what you get for posting and running. :goodvibes

I will look for them in your account and see what I can do. Thanks for your help!

Marion,

I like the design, but it is more than I need. I do like the size though. Thank you for your help!

Dolly,

We decided the zebra print would be too girly for the boys. I was wondering if you could put the hot pink Minnie bow on your zebra head print. I think I will use the plain black Mickey head for the boys. Thank you so much!

Before I do that...are you going to put the name over the zebra print? If so...are you sure you will be able to read the name with the zebra print right behind it? You may want to use a black head for the girls with the bow, so that you can read the name. If you still want me to add the bow to the zebra print let me know. Also which Zebra print did you want pink or black?

Funny you should ask that about the girls. I was just playing around with the font trying to find a font that will show. I used the Walt font. I can't quite figure out how to save the new design as a picture so I can show what I did here.

By the way, I did find a Minnie zebra with a pink bow.

I took a picture of a printout because I didn't want to take the time to learn how to convert it. Here is one student's name tag.

There was enough contrast so the name on the zebra print worked. You may want to make the name larger so that it stands out...but all in all it looks pretty good.
