My sister wants to book the Tea with Wendy on our upcoming 7 day. According to the DCL site this is only on 3-4 day cruises. Anyone know if it is available on the 7 night? ::MinnieMo

It was on the Magic last time we sailed (in Fall 2004). I'm pretty sure it is still on the Magic -- I can't imagine why it wouldn't be on the Magic but would be on the Wonder.

I think there are two 'Tea with Wendy' activities.

On the 3 and 4 day cruises, there is an activity in Oceaneer's Club called Tea with Wendy. This is open to all children who are in the club at the time. I don't know where the activity occurs, but I am guessing it is in the Club itself.

On the 7 day cruises, there is an activity open to all cruisers. You must go to Guest Services to get a ticket in advance (the time to get the ticket will be posted in the Navigator). This activity was held in Studio Sea.

Last time we went on the magic I stopped at guest services right upon boarding and thy gave us tickets for tea with Wendy.

How did your daughters like Tea With Wendy? My daughters are 8 & 11 and I am wondering if we will do this? Also I thought I read somewhere that Tea With Wendy actually was before you even left port. Can some one let me know?

Ours was about 3 days into the cruise...my then 5 year old loved it...it was cute for the little ones....not sure how an 11 year old would like it though!

We did the 7 day and did Tea with Wendy, girls were 8 and 10. Not much to it, some Iced tea and chocolate chip cookies, and a quick little story by Wendy, it was OK, but definitely more for those little ones. We enjoyed the cookies and tea and a picture of Wendy and left.

IMHO, completely overrated!
My kids loved anything and everything about our 7 night Eastern last Fall.
They were really bored and not impressed with Tea with Wendy, however.

DD (8) and DS (6).

I would not put off some other activity or opportunity to go to this, that's for sure!

Tickets were easy to get, as mentioned before at Guest Services.

My DD8 really enjoyed it! It was a quick little break in our day...and it was just the girls (DH and DS4 were off doing something else!), so that made it even more special! Nothing too fancy...just iced tea and cookies...and it didn't last long. We'd definitely do it again! Ours was on a sea day.

My daughter saw this in an old cruise video. I was wondering about it. This is a dumb question, but is there no charge for this? I read something about tickets.

I'm looking at the 7 day one.

We did the tea with Wendy in November 2005. Had a good time, but be aware it is not a proper tea. It is just a cookie and ice tea.
But a good time was had by all....

I completely agree... a total waste of time. I took my DD (5) on our 2/05 7 night. It was in Studio Sea. Once you enter you take a seat (open seating) where there is non-sweetened iced tea (my DD thought it was gross) and cookies on the table. Alice then comes in... tells a five minute story and then the kids have the opportunity to have a photo taken with her. That is it! We were in and out in less than 20 minutes.

They had an Alice in Wonderland tea when you were onboard?? All they had was the Wendy one when we were there. We enjoyed it, my daughter loved the story that they told. I guess if you go in expecting something big it would be a dissapointment but we liked it.

My bad... I meant to say Wendy. My DD did do the tea party with Alice at the Grand Floridian which was wonderful.
