Tea Party

I've not heard much about this since it moved from Plaza Gardens. Is it still at Pizza Planet? Has anyone experienced it lately? Was the food good? All sweet or a mix of sweet/savoury? How much does it cost just now per adult/child? What time is it on? And are there any days it's not available?

Sorry loads of questions, I'm STILL trying to figure out meals

I think we are topping the 'leader board' for most posts at the moment.

We are both more obsessed with eating than anything else.

i think there were 2 tea parties - a birthday one and a normal one and one was moved to Pizza Planet and one to Lucky Nugget but I cant remember which way round.

However Im sure Ive heard recently that they've stopped the Pizza Planet one and they are both at L Nugget but there have been some quite poor reports about them - I was reading someones TR and they had asked for their money back as it was so bad and chaotic

I also think its all sweet food now and no savoury like it used to be

Thanks for that . I remember reading that TR now too now you mention it. Hmmmm probably not such a great choice then.

Yeah we did too and thought it would be great to do it this time at Pizza Planet to get the Toy Story characters. That's a shame that it's not been so great since it's been moved. Plaza Gardens was a lovely place to have it though and I have to admit I didn't think it would be the same at Pizza Planet.

I doubt it. There are too many foodies and obsessives on this board for us to stand out.

we did the party, and tbh we wudnt bother again.
we were lucky in that we were close to the front, but even so there was alot of pushing and shoving, it was very very packed inside, and the food disappeared quickly, and was slow to be restocked.
it is all sweet stuff, cookies, donuts, brioche, sweets, sweet rolls..... and we didnt eat that much as it was just too sweet.
the only reason we stayed was *** tigger came out (ds2 dressed as tigger) and we had a whole birthday cake.... but we stayed 40 mins and got out, and i think we were the 1st to leave
i wudnt really recommend it, and as i say, we were near the front of the queue and also sat in the centre..... also, the mobbing characters was bad....
save ur money for cafe mickey or one of the other meals!!

Thanks a lot . We are having a meal at Cafe Mickey anyway, we were just going to use this as a "filler" meal, but if it's all sweet food then it wont work anyway . That is a shame to hear though as we thought Plaza Gardens was great. Hopefully they'll realise what they've done and move it back soon.
