Tea kettles

Really?!!! I always just use the microwave if I wanted tea. This changes everything!

Here's an inventory list from BCV - you can see that the tea kettles is listed as able to request.

You can also use the coffee machine or a pan to heat water.

We always request a tea kettle. (too much of a tea snob to drink it with microwaved water!!) We also like to make a pitcher of fresh brewed iced tea, too.

I don't see how, exciting molecules either by microwaves or an external heat source shouldn't make a difference.

I was being facetious, mostly, although central Florida does have a special taste not found anywhere else I've ever been. Thank goodness for water filtration.

I still like the Joffrey's at BC marketplace :)

It isn't heating the water with an electric element. It is the fact that the water will taste like coffee..

We have an electric kettle. We heat our water to 190 degrees.

Guess I'm not a tea connoisseur, to me hot water is hot water if the machine is clean. :-)

We drink bottled water at WDW, the treated water taste isn't our favorite. Also FYI the filters on the refrigerator ice makers are not changed as often as they could be so we get our ice from the resort ice machines that have a special commercial filter that is changed on a specific schedule.

Coca-cola requires a commercial grade reverse osmosis filtration system on all it's fountains to ensure the proper taste, so your best ice and filtered water will come from the coke machines such as where you fill the refillable mugs (and you do not need an activated mug for ice and water.) They use that same water to brew the coffee as well -- at least in BC marketplace I'm sure they do. I usually get a case or two of bottles for the room, but the water off the coke tap does taste fine. I've had many, many cups of water from the coke fountain outside hurricane hannas and I promise it's good :) (NOT from the "mug wash" tap ;) )
