Tea for Toddlers?

We have an upcoming stay at the Disneyland Hotel, and I am considering booking afternoon tea for me, my mom, and my two daughters (age 2).

I am sure my mom will think this is ADORABLE, but before I book I'd like to know if it's an appropriate environment for toddlers. My girls are usually very good in restaurants, but age 2 is unpredictable. They could have a bad day and be loud or cry. I would not want to disturb other diners, so I'm wondering if tea time is quiet and if toddlers would enjoy it.

I'm a firm believer that children should learn from an early age how to behave in certain settings. As long as you are ready and willing to remove your children if they start to cry or misbehave, I think you should plan to go and enjoy since they usually behave in these kind of settings. Often just taking a child outside for a few minutes to calm them down is enough to return. If not, you can probably have the rest of your "tea" packed up to go.

Oh shoot. Never mind. I just discovered it is only Fri-Sun, and we are there during the week.

I guess this one goes on the bucket list!

It is a fun atmosphere, and there are children. That said, yes, a crying child would be disruptive. The tea carts can be large, so children out of their chairs could cause issues. I agree with the above poster that children should go places early to learn to behave in a restaurant.

Regarding the food, the children's tea is geared towards younger appetites. They should enjoy. You can order either milk or hot chocolate if tea isn't their thing. When my granddaughter joined, she would order hot chocolate, and we got an extra tea cup and she would sample our tea as we knew it wouldn't be her first choice.
