How old do you have to be to ride the teacups without a parent/adult? My single mom friend is going with her 3 kids and she and one son can't handle the tea cups. She has a 4 year old and maybe a 10 year old. Will they be able to ride by themselves?

Thanks!

7 years old can ride alone.

ETA, since this often comes up with follow up questions......Guests over 14 can rides with guests under 7.

My kids rode the teacups alone (I rode in another cup because I don't like to spin so much) on our last two trips. At DLR they were 13 and 7 and they rode together. At WDW my older son rode alone...he was 12 at the time. Mind you, my kids are tall for their ages.

I've never head this before, is it true? That's great!

That's what I head a number of years ago: that the purple cup would spin the fastest (from the wheel in the center of the cup; obviously all cups are equal if you don't add additional spinning). We went on it and it certainly did spin fast! I'm just curious if this has been altered.
