I would like to make a PS for the afternoon Tea (not the $200 princess one) at the GF for me, my mom, my sister and my niece for our "girls only" trip in June. Does this usually fill up quickly? Is it something I should plan on calling at the 90 day mark? My son and I will actually be in WDW (woohoo only 35 more days!!) when the 90 day mark for the June trip begins, so I guess I could even "swing by" the GF and make the PS as long as I'm in the "neighborhood". Thanks for any info on past experiences.

I've been there a couple of times and it never looked full. I don't think 90 days out on the dot is needed. Have fun!

Are you staying on site. If so, I'd just call from your room. If not, I'd stop by guest services at a park or call from wherever you're staying.

Do you think the restaurant has access to 90 days out? I don't know if they do or not...this will be fun to hear other's experiences but I don't think I'd make a trip over there only to find out the restaurant can only access a day or two of PSs.

I also don't think you'll have trouble if you wait a while to call as long as you have some flexibility.

Just booked today for tomorrow. Had our choices of times for anytime after 2:00.

Thanks for the replies. My son and I are having breakfast one morning at The GF Cafe, so I think I'll just stop by and make our PS then. The day I want/need depends on how lucky I am in making our CRT PS. When my sister, her husband and my niece joined us on our trip to WDW two summers ago, I earned the "aunt of the year" award by getting up at 6 a.m. on a Saturday (which is against EVERYTHING I believe in!!) to make their CRT PS. My sister had no idea how hard the PS was to get and my niece LOVED the princesses and just HAD to see them at breakfast. She's (my niece) already told me that she plans on wearing her princess dress to breakfast and she hopes that they have that wonderful french toast again! Our 90 day window for CRT is before my son and I leave, so that will be a big weight off my mind. Thanks again.

If you are planning on going on a weekend I would make a PS, some times there are bridal showers there or small groups getting together. Also the locals like to go on the weekends as well. We tried to get a PS for a Sunday during our trip in December and the 2:00 and 3:00 slots were full.

Just back and had booked 90 days out for a 2pm seating on a Saturday. It wasn't completely full but it was fairly busy. I am sure in most cases you could make a same day PS for it.

Just a note:
Most people seemed to order one of the set teas (like the buckingham) but I actually found it better to order a la carte because I thought that paying for 3 little tea sandwiches was silly.

My mom and I split an order of Sally Lunn bread (really good), an order of scones, an order of lemon pound cake (absolutely the best :cloud9: ), and a bowl of strawberries and cream (the berries were so sweet and wonderful and it was real whipped cream, no whipped topping here! :flower: ). We each ordered our own tea (you get a whole pot to yourself) and the waitress split everything and brought it on two separate plates.

It was a wonderful experience and a nice break from the parks. :wizard:
