I just love the GF and would like to have afternoon tea there. Problem is that it would be just me and my dd (age 4). Do you think that would be ok. She's incredibly well behaved and would love to have tea. We already did the Princess Tea Party and I don't want to spend the money for that again. I also don't want to take her to adult tea if that is not appropriate. Thanks! :flower3:

We have taken our DD to the tea at the GF since she was 13 months old and it was never a problem. She went once at 13 mo, once at 3 yrs and once at 4.5. They have chocolate milk for the kids who want it, and she also enjoyed the small sandwiches and pastries. Go for it! :goodvibes

Thank you so much! I read your DVC blog - wow, it's interesting to read your day by day thoughts, I'll be so stressed when we finally decide to buy. Lots of good info - thanks!

it sounds perfect for you. There is a special children's tea offering. If she enjoys dress up and the girly things, she would love this!!

We took our DD when she was 3 years old and she loved it! She felt all special and grown-up! They have a special item on the menu, Belle's Tea I think it was called. It came with tiny tea sandwiches, chocolate milk "tea" and she was allowed to choose a couple of the beautiful pastries from a tray they brought around. The only thing that scared me was that they used the Royal Doulton china to serve her, too!!! I was kinda worried something would break, but it didn't, and we all had a fantastic time. It's a family tradition now... I recommend that you give it a try!:)

We are doing this in December. I did alot of internet reading about this and saw alot of reviews with children mentioned. They have chocolate milk on the menu for kids who do not like tea.

Bring her and create a memory!

As some have mentioned, they have a child's tea. It comes with a pb&j, ham & cheese, and one other sandwich (can't remember what it is right now). You can substitute all pb& j or whatever your child would like.

When my DD was younger she would bring her American Girl Doll. We have some great pics and memories.

Have fun!

Kristen

We have gone to the tea when my daughter was 2 and we are taking my son in Dec and he will be 23 months.

We did this in April and loved it and there were a lot of young kids there, never heard a peep out of them.

Hope you both enjoy it!

Kids are perfectly acceptable at the GF tea. When we went we took a seven year old girl. We were nervous about her using the fine china but that went okay. She didn't have a great time though. It just took too long for her. I'm not sure I would take a child to the tea again. WDW is so stimulating that things lacking stimulation for children really seem to bore them
