Hi all, would love to plan a solo trip to TDR and was hoping to get some information on what that would be like as someone with a disability impacting mobility.
Here is some background information for context:
- I use a rolling walker (called a rollator) with a seat to accommodate my disability
- I can walk short distances/do stairs without my rollator if necessary but I cannot stand stationary for long periods of time without it (more than a couple mins)
- I have travelled to the US and done both DLR and WDW parks solo with my rollator without issue
- I am okay with not registering for TDR’s disability program if it makes things simpler for me as long as I can still use my rollator in the parks
Thoughts and/or similar experiences? I’ve heard different things about TDR requiring people with disabilities to have a support person and having to answer lengthy questions to go on rides, etc. so I’m hoping to learn more about what their processes actually look like and whether I’d likely be able to enjoy a solo trip or not.
Thank you for your help!
