TCM Cruise on the Magic

A ship full of very happy movie fans.
Friendliest people you will ever encounter.

Both the Buena Vista and Walt Disney theaters and some of the lesser-size meeting areas were in action the entire trip with classics from the past.
Often someone who worked on the production, or the star themselves, or a stars family member would introduce a picture and give a tale or two.

Then chat sessions in a small settings with the stars on stage. Very popular. Soon to be 93 year old Rita Moreno the most popular.

In it's 10th year, TCM gives past cruisers first shot at a reservation so if you are interested consider booking the cruise as soon as booking is available and get on their notification list.

A long time Magic Crew member cooks for his village when he returns home on breaks from the ship. "Food they would not normally ever get." He spends all his cash tips on that kind act. We all tip him heavy.

Hailey and Juliet Mills gave some really engaging and funny talks too.

Thanks for posting. I really would like to do one of these cruise, and I am would have loved to have seen Shaun Cassidy, I saw him in concert in the 1970's LOL!

He came up to us while watching the World Series in O'Gills pub and hung out and chatted with the wives. A really down to earth guy. He had a chat in one of the venues and told his career story and why he made the decisions he did. Owns a vineyard in Central Cali. They showed one of his movies and TV appearances. BTW: He takes care of his 90 year old mom.

If you click on the TCM Classic Cruise site their is an icon to click and get an early booking notification. We saved some money booking early.
1000 less passengers than on a normal Disney cruise. The Castaway Cay Island visit was like we had it all to ourselves. Only a handfull of kids on this cruise we were told. We never saw any.

Amazing to talk to people with different takes on different movies.

The most popular shown was Double Indemnity.
Fred Mc Murry's daughter gave a pre screening talk at a showing we went to.

Carnal Knowledge the girls came away with a different take from when they saw it decades ago.
It was billed a comedy back then, the girls in our group took it as disturbing to watch now.
Rita Moreno had some interesting stories and one included her appearance experience.

Hopefully a video will appear on TCM of her talk.
