Can anyone who's been with TCD lately tell me if its vital to pre book our seats.I dont know whether to do this or if it's a con to squeeze more money out of you.
Many thanks for any help.
Hi, we flew with TCD last year and pre booked our seats; we're doing the same again next year. It depends on how important it is to you for all your family to be seated together. I wasn't prepared to take the risk of being seperated and on seeing the length of the queue for check-in I felt we'd made the right decision.
I think a lot of people do this, I know I did, and a lot of people in the queue when we were waiting had done it. However, we were near the front of the queue so that might not be represenative.
We didn't pre book last time (as a group of 5) and we got seated like this against the window like this:
12-
345
We did arrive at check in quite early though. This time as it's just two of us (and I learnt just how scared of flying I am on last year's trip) we have booked pre seating just to be safe. I'd agree with Sue on this; whether or not it's worth it depends on how important it is for your party to be seated together.
