TCD Have Done it Again!

Well venting is in order

I just got a letter from TCD saying they have canceled all their new years day flights, great I was on the Manchester flight

The villa cant change dates, I cant change dates, the cars are booked!

This is just the head ache I didnt need today

I can honestly say I will never ever book with TCD again.

And I am very glad we didnt book our October 2009 trip with them

Hope you can get something sorted.
I have to admit I have been put off TCD for life after reading the recent shanningans of cancelled flights/swapped planes so on.

ys its a nightmare, we are obvioussly cancelling it with full refund.

How annoying, glad we don't do 2 week holidays, they are not an option for us.

Just looked Virgin are not too bad £416 each or £368+2,000 miles.
Good luck getting something sorted.

You could certainly do without the stress. They do seem to be cancelling a lot of people's flights just lately.

I know the feeling, I got a letter this AM telling me that they aren't flying out on Thursdays and we'll have to go out a day later. This wouldn't be such a problem if we hadn't originally planned for 11/12 until 25/12. Flying back on Christmas Day was part of our plan (we're not too desperate to spend Xmas day in queues for rides).

We were told when we originally booked that there were only a limited amount of seats for the 11th and therefore booked straight away to avoid disappointment. We have also booked a villa for the fortnight independently and now have to mess the owners about.

Look on the bright side, we can go to Daytona on Christmas day and swim in the Atlantic

DH and I were thinking about using them - but after reading everything on here this week I think we will give them a very wide birth!

Just told my DD about having to leave one day later, didn't realise until I did that we'll now spend most of her birthday in the air. Planned to spend Bday and Christmas morning at MK.

She's not a happy bunny .

Is it me or are a few airlines causing a lot of problems for their customers at the moment. Virgin are being slated too at the moment aren't they. I hope you get something sorted soon.

I don't know what's happened to TCD lately! We've travelled with them to Florida at least six or seven times in the past, but this year they appear to be completely USELESS!

Well after a day of calling airlines I think I have finally sorted the flight problem

looking like we are now off Christmas eve with BMI from manchester through chicargo to orlando, which is a route I have done before and enjoyed.

so looks like Christmas and New Year Away lucky us!!

Thats great news. Our fave transatlantic airline, would take BMI anyday over TCD even though it means a change they are a great airline.
We are coming home with them in August, Virgin out BMI home.
