TCD, Airtours, Thomas Cook Baggage allowance

Anybody know what the cabin luggage allowance size is, is it still the same as on the web sites (length 45cm, width of 35cm and height of 20cm) or is it the size from the dft.gov.uk website (56cm x 45cm x 25cm).

PS. just noticed this on TC website (43cm x 28 cm). confused, i'am.

I'm guessing that the sizes from the DfT website are the maximums permitted and then the individual airlines are free to set their own maximums within this overall restriction.

Nobody seems very quick on posting on this subject so perhaps it's a bit of an unknown. I think i'll give them a ring as i want to get the biggest bag possible to take on the plane with me and perhaps put a few things in there that i would normally put in my case so i can buy lots of clothes when i'm out there.
Might up the hold allowance from 15kgs to 20kgs.
