Taylor Hicks on American Idol, Who else loves him?

I just loved Taylor Hicks performance last night. It was a breath of fresh air. I just think he is great, how about you?

He was great. he is one of the few AI that I can say I'll probably remember all his performances...and I want more! I would love to see him sing Van Morrison, like "Brown Eyed Girl" or "Tupelo Honey" or "Walking in Memphis"...I hope he goes all the way!!!!!!!!!!!

I seem to be the only person in America who this guy irritates the heck out of. He is constantly mugging for the camera and making stupid faces and twitching around. I just can't stand it. He reminds me of a bad Jay Leno impersonator and I don't like the real Jay Leno to start with. That being said Taylor has a HUGE fan base and will go far. Much to my annoyance.

I thought he held himself pretty much in control last night. It's like he has this joy of the music inside of him and sometimes it just has to come out.

I think he's great! I love his down to earth attitude and while I do think he has some out of the oridinary moves while performing , I think it is just his fun spirit coming out, not him trying to show-off so to speak.

I can see why some might not enjoy him much, but dang, he made me grin from ear to ear during his performance! I haven't been this excited about any performer on the show since Clay, although I'd much rather look at Taylor than Clay any day (sorry to the Claymates out there, but it's true!).
