We're staying in-resort but will need to take a taxi occasionally. Can anyone recommend some taxi services...or can I just order them from the front desk ?

YOu can go to bell services and they will call one for you.

Disney use Mears Yellow Cabs, as said above Bell Services at your resort will get you a cab (quite iften there is one waiting at the resort).

Tiffany Town Cars are great if you want to pre-order. They're very reliable.

We have six in our party and have always used Yellow Taxis, they have been in general the most reliable, their number is everywhere in orlando. If you have a party larger than 5 specifically ask for a van. They run on a meter so you can see how much to pay and they are generally on the money when asked how much.
