Taxis on WDW property??

Alright....I'm still a little worried about this whole "getting to GF by 7:40 AM for our 8 AM PS character bkfst" thing! Sounds like buses will take 45 min and, after an EARLY flight the previous day, DH and I might not want to do that.

BUT we don't want to get too late a start on our day and go for a later time either. Are there taxis on WDW property? Can we just hop one over to the GF for a small charge??

I know for sure there are taxis at the Marketplace. I have also seen them at a few of the resorts, but don't know whether they already had a fare to pick up. Check with your bell captain or the front desk. I'm sure they can call one for you if you give them some advance notice.

Where are you staying? Almost all of the deluxes have a few waiting in the reserves, though you can always call the night before and arrange for a pick up. If you're staying at a moderate or value, call ahead of time and have one waiting for you right near your building! I don't think I have paid, including tip, over 15.00 to go anywhere on property. The few times I have used a taxi have been well worth it for the piece of mind they brought. *or escaping the cold to get back to our home resort!* When I decide to get a cab at the last minute I usually just walk up to valet and they have always taken care of it.

Yes, you can get a cab from at any resort. Usually they are close by, and you'll only have to wait a few minutes. Just stop at bell services and they will call for you. If you are staying at a resort with multiple bus stops like the CBR or the POR, you can usually arrange to have a cab pick you up at a nearby bus stop.

How small a charge do you want? The cab will probably cost about $12-15 plus tip, depending on where you're starting from.
