TaxIs in Nassau

Hi,
Has anyone ever got off the ship and used a taxi without using an organised excursion?
If so, how did you find it? Thinking of going to cabbage beach?

You will not have an issue finding a taxi. There will be many people in the area right around the port offering car services. Agree on the fare before you get in.

Agree with above - no problem getting a taxi at the pier. Last time I took one to Åtlantis it was $4pp each way. Check first.

Always found the drivers to be most courteous and eager to answer your questions about their city.

There are many taxis everywhere. We had no problems finding one on our own to the beach and back to the port. As the previous poster noted, it was around $4/pp.
