Hi everyone,
Hope someone can help me. We're thinking of booking a night at a value resort for the first night of our vacation (a Sunday) before moving on to POFQ, for the remainder of our trip. We would like to get an early start the following Monday, and maybe take a bus to one of the parks in order to transfer to POFQ, so that we can check in. I would wait do do that, but we'll need to get our park tickets.
So, I was wondering, how early do the busses run? If they weren't early enough, I was thinking about a cab. But we won't have our carseats with us. I've never taken a cab before, so I don't know if they have any or what, especially the van taxis?? I though with a cab we could get an earlier start. What do you think? Sorry this is so long and thank you in advance.

It sounds to me that if you want to get an early start you would be better off taking a taxi to POFQ rather than taking a bus to a park and then another bus to POFQ. In my experience, taxis never have car seats. Have you thought about having one of the adults take a taxi to POFQ, check in and get tickets, while the other gets the kids ready and uses Disney bus transportation to meet the first adult at the park you plan to go to that day? It's still complicated, but perhaps better than having all of you take the taxi or two buses to POFQ.

By the way, if you do this, the one staying behind with the kids can arrange for your luggage to be transported to POFQ during the day -- you wouldn't have to lug that over in the taxi.

Thank you, bellelinus! That's a great idea. We just might do that. I guess I was just a little scared to travel in the "big world" by myself and it didn't even dawn on me to go ahead and check in, by myself:blush:. he he. We'll most likely do that, though.
This is all so new to me. I didn't know that I had so many options. :goodvibes thanks again!!

I hope it works out for you . . . have a terrific trip!
