taxi vans

Finishing up plans for our upcoming trip and I am trying to figure out the transportation from SNA to the Grand Californian. Just wondering if there are lots of taxi vans available at the airport or would I be better off reserving a limo (don't want to do supershuttle or DE)? Going to need transportation back to the airport too. There will be 7 of us - one in a carseat and one in a booster seat. Any thoughts?

The most common taxi I saw at the SNA airport was the Yellow Cabs that would seat 4 and luggage but I don't think they'd hold anymore than that. You just might have to wait a few minutes for a larger taxi to come available.

Even a 7 passenger van can feel cramped with a car seat, a booster and luggage so a limo might be more comfortable or you can take two taxis that are readily available at all times.

With 7 people, you can get a private shuttle with Karmel.
