How many people can fit in the taxi-vans?

I believe I must have read the same thread that you did! Sounds like it is only 7.

7 is the answer for the taxis on the hotel stands. If you pre-arrange you can find bigger vans.

On our recent trip this past August, we were a family 0f NINE (6 adults and 3 kids) and we all fit (comfortably, too!) in the "taxi vans" that were outside both the resort and EPCOT.

I would venture to say that there were no seat belts for 2 of your family, as the Mears vehicles you are talking about were seven passenger and only carried seven seatbelts.

So you saved money by jamming people in the van and no sea belts for 2 of your group and you risked injury to some of your loved ones, in case of an accident. You ought to be proud of yourself.

I don't know where you were going but I guess that fare you saved was worth more than the value you placed on other occupants in the van.

#1-and most important-we all had seat beats.
#2-We were not "jammed in." In fact, it was quite comfortable.
#3-Money was not a deciding factor. If it was, we obviously would have used the free bus service.
