Hello all! I've read posts about shuttles or towncars from the airport (MCO) to the Royal Pacific, is there any reason I shouldn't just take a taxi? I'll be staying onsite and won't need a rental car.

When I priced it out, I thought r/t mco to PBH would be about the same as a towncar. DH and I were very pleased with Magic City Transportation (www.magicaltransprtation.com). The cost was $75 r/t. The driver was waiting for us as we entered the baggage area and told us which luggage carrousel our luggage would be coming in on. On the way to the hotel, we stopped at a grocery store for water, drinks, snacks, etc. This stop was included in the price. On the date of departure, our driver was right on time picking us up at PBH. I think we tipped $10 each way.

When I was inquiring about cab fare, I learned that MCO to PBH would be $40-45 each way.

We also just used Magic City Transportation (just got back yesterday) and were very pleased. We will definitely use them again. Our driver, Anthony was very friendly and professional. He got us from the airport to RPR (with a grocery stop) and back to the airport very quickly, but while driving in a safe manner. I hate it when you get a driver that drives like a maniac. We paid $80 round trip and tipped $15 one way (after he helped with groceries) and $10 the other way.
